'adventurism' is a pejorative because there are people who don't want to utilize terrorism in order to enact change, for better or for worse. there may be some valid arguments in favor of using terrorism as a necessary evil to incite change, but these sorts of accelerationist positions are never given due deference and breadth of consideration by people who think revolution can happen without bloodshed.

on the other hand, there are bloodthirsty faggots who would take pleasure in the sowing of chaos for its own sake, and who are biting at the chomp to co-op any given political group's operations for the chance at drawing blood and sating said thirst. these are the sorts of people who willingly sign up to be part of porky's imperialist world policing squad aka the united states military, but they exist elsewhere.

Here's the answer:
Glowies know communism is growing and that it must be stopped so they have a bunch of tools at their disposal, one of them is accusing anyone who wants to do anything with a material effect in the real world of being an adventurist (in case of wanting to do something big) or being a liberal (in case of wanting to do something small-scale)
The end result is creating an environment where nobody does anything and all focus is instead directed to reading theory and basically just being scholars.

Another big element of the psyop is making or supporting leftist ideologies that serve no purpose to anti-imperialism and communism and that are actively detrimental. Anarchism is a good example, with CIA archives even confirming that they helped its spread in the U.S because anarchists are anticommunists.
Leftcoms are also of a similar vein, they do nothing but shit on every country resisting imperialism as well as all socialist projects to have ever actually existed, which makes them consent-manufacturing machines (and they do it for free, too!)
