Shay I'm gonna brainstorm a little here:
whenever you write longer posts which you could also upload them to a blog of yours hosted on the fediverse network, for example writefreely.org Then you could have some sort of donation link in your bio, so that if anyone sits on some private equity trust fund money or something they could have the easy option of helping you financially this way without issue. This would go towards moving to an urban environment first and foremost (since that then also secures the following: ) and subsequently transitioning, socially flourishing, around people with similar struggles and worldview.
I don't know how the variety of donation site options compare but there's like patreon, liberapay, ko-fi at least that I know of. Just filter out best to worst and pick one there too (and no there's nothing 'shameful' in having a donation link in and of itself).
With this a stable nick is also necessary, whatever you pick would need to be the same both on your blog/donation platform/on social media (which includes leftypol)
