I consider myself an atheist and a materialist. I engage in deboonking and making fun of religious and superstitious people all the time.

But there is one supernatural phenomenon that I cannot explain, and that is re-incarnation. This is because of my personal experience.

I have a niece who, when she was very young, claimed to have had a past life where she lived in another state in country, and she vividly described the name of her town and her family members. She was insistent about it being true, even though she was just 3 or 4 at the time.

So my dad and my uncle decided to go to that place and investigate, and they found out that there really was a family in that town with the same names my niece mentioned, and that one of the women in that family died a few years ago.

I saw all this happening with my own eyes. It simply cannot be a coincidence that a 3 year old accurately remembered the names of a family and the name of that town in a far away place, where a woman died the same year my niece was born.

Then after further research, I realized the topic of reincarnation was already being researched by a guy named Ian Stevenson who has collected evidence of thousands of reincarnation.

Now I'm not saying I 100% believe in it, because at the end of the day I'm still a materialist and I need hard evidence to convince myself. But I still have no idea what to think of what I observed first hand.

The most likely explanation is that you're just lying for fun, but even if you were being "honest" the story would fall apart under scrutiny. If a detective launched an investigation they'd realize stuff like
<oh the girl saw the town on a map
<oh some of the names she said weren't part of that family but they were brushed off because others were right or "close enough"
etc
It's not that far off from "cold reading" that "psychics" do. Supernatural claims rely on ambiguity and wiggle room, pushing the audience to fill in the gaps themselves. They are never precise.

reincarnation in hinduism is a PUNISHMENT.
im "Kardasianism"\spiritism\New Age\NDE research, it's a "journey of growth"
