If they had an evolutionary advantage, why did they keep clinging to their "passive" role in society until the enlightenment era and so on.
From earliest philosophical discourses, to romantic self sacrifices, poems, literature, wars in the name of new valuations and truths, natural science… were all dominated by males.
Of course there were females too, but can you tell me, if you document all the people who wholeheartedly died for a struggle, be it love, curiosity, passion, whatever abstract desire you can tell, which gender would make the most of the death toll?
Gender roles are of course a cultural rite, and bound to change, but for now, how does one can brag about an evolutionary supeority of the female biology?
