Is fun socialist/communist?
Fun and happiness are reactionary bourgeois mindsets. You can only be a marxist if you're constantly miserable
Once everyone's basic needs are met, fun becomes your greatest duty.
Yes for the most part. Anyone who wants things to be austere is either clinically depressed or jerking off to vibes, or both.
The only exception is the pathological enjoyment rightists find in hurting others and certain cases which are fun in the short term but cause distress in the long term (though in practice this means they are net negative fun, e.g not fun.)
The bourgeoisie don't want you to have any time for yourself to have fun, but they also don't want you to be angry at them and overthrow them. True freedom does not come from fun or anger, it comes from being able to express your emotions to the fullest and choose what you want to feel. The bourgeoisie does not want this. If fun is liberating to you, then it is communist.
As long as it’s not any obnoxious mandatory group activity then it’s all good
