School and university should be 50% practical apprentice in rural areas or in a factory, and 50% academic work. And everyone has to do both, so everyone has practical experience, and is educated.

Yeah man, people should work on their astrophysics PhD in a sawmill.

>50% practical apprentice in rural areas or in a factory
are they going to pay me

There's nothing to do there.

pic looks like AI slop, there is no focal point

I don't see the benefit. The whole point of farming and to a lesser extent agriculture is that you can get mad gains by having a machine do most of the work. At a push, having people do like 1 month's work experience (or maybe even a half day's work experience every week for a year) so they've got some awareness of it would do the job.

On the other hand, if it was a practical apprenticeship for anything you wanted, e.g. while doing a politics degree your university will force you to make that webcomic you've been telling yourself you'd do for the last 5 years, or write short stories, or something like that, I would be all for it. Superficially this cuts directly against the grain of the suggestion (instead of steel, I want people to make art!?) but both are, frankly, productivity in a way that no think-tank policy-based-evidence slop pdf ever will be. They cultivate the underlying skill of actually finishing your projects.

idk if it's slop but humans do sometimes make pictures without focal points

What's this supposed amazing benefit that labor fetishists insist only work in subpar conditions in traditional occupations can instill?
>it teaches you responsibility and dedication
That's why we have school.
>it forces you to do physical activity
That's why we have gym class.
>it gives you practical work experience
That's why we have internships.

>>813994
I can't tell if that's actually what they're meant to be but it looks like the underground cross-section has windows and guns facing what should be solid rock.

>>813994
it's from "Star Wars: Complete Locations of The Original Trilogy", so unless AI was capable of this in 2005, it's work of some guy

>>814123
School doesn’t do enough in any of those areas. They only do impractical institutionalized forms of those things

Also schooling currently is overfocused on “socialization”

>>813976
This. Unfortunately, naysayers here will say “muh labor overrated”

>>813997
Honestly maybe it could be 70% academic 30% practical. But the practical skills are necessary and also knowing how the people live and being one with the people is necessary. Everyone should be able to be a miner.

>>814133
"The people" are working in customer service. Miners are a tiny minority.

Rural folk should be required to go to cities throughout there education. They're the delusional ones that actively vote for retarded policies because of their entitlement and retardation

>>814135
Well we need more miners. Also we need people who can run stuff like Human factories so we can print loads of humans (this is especially important for small countries like Wales to achieve population parity with England and the USA)

>>814133
>Honestly maybe it could be 70% academic 30% practical

Make it fifty-five percent academics and forty-five percent vocational

>Everyone should be able to be a miner.

Nah bruh. Everyone should be able to do basic mechanics in cars and home appliances

>>814137
That’s a common stereotype

I’ve met more delusional anti intellectuals whom grow up in suburbs and cities than in ritual areas
