Also unhealthy habits don't really start hitting you hard till you're a bit older at least most of the time I think.

if youre 19 and you are worrying about "social skills" or "unhealthy habits" you should fucking get over yourself. if you dropped out because your adolescent angst justified your anxiety and lack of spine, then it's time to put the adult pants on and do a remedial course and get the GED or equivalent. i guarantee college students are just as illiterate as you are. maybe learn a trade, if there's a thing you have right now in excess of, it's time.
When I was 19, I was depressed and suicidal that I didn't have a gf. I still don't, but Im no longer depressed and suicidal
