Then by the 00s you had more "normie libs" and even some "left wing" people getting broader internet access, but decentralized forums especially all the vbulletin forums I went on back in the day either quickly died or got hacked with SQL injection. Then by 2010 you have reddit, which always glowed to high heaven, making the forum obsolete. Now you have by this point the emergence of LLMs in the MIC, but not for civilian use. Moderators on reddit and power users on reddit were increasingly corrupt and on platforms like youtube comments sections were always permachudded. I think the permachudding is partly just petty bourgeois imperial core dwellers acting like they've always acted, but also the bourgeoisie literally botting up comments and installing corrupt moderators. If the CIA can coup a country they can definitely coup websites.
