your boss is an idiot and is exposing himself and the company to massive liability. get some hard evidence of you driving that forklift with your boss's knowledge and approval and you've got some serious leverage, if he tries to fire you or doesn't give you the raise or promotion or hours or benefits you ask for or whatever it might be, you whip out that evidence and watch his face turn white.
