i'm the op of that thread and i was criticizing an overall culture and not particular organizations. in fact, it should be clear from my post that the people i'm criticizing by and large do not participate in any organizing except by joining occasional protests. if your point is that "real leftist organizations" in the west do not embody those flaws i pointed out, that's fine. i don't necessarily disagree depending on which ones you're talking about. but real leftist organizations in the west also do not have significant numbers despite the surge in favorable views of socialism and the grassroots popularity of "left-coded" influencers and politicians. that's my point. all those people are sitting around just rooting for the team and being dicks.
