Nixon and Reagan winning in landslides were reactions to the 60s, late 80s early 90s "political correctness" was a reaction to the Reagan 80s, bush winning in the 2000s was a reaction to 90s political correctness, obama era wokeness was a reaction to bush era christ tardism, attitude era south park edginess, and the 08 recession, the alt right was a reaction to obama era "wokeness"
