mostly because it can take it which saves me up time on having to install every driver manually and then having to swap or downgrade every week or whenever i need to do anything slightly technical, and then having to just reinstall everything every 3 months because one too many of the drivers i downloaded keeps breaking in a very specific way.

also most games with "working" anticheat need Windows so…

i do have Pop Os in the living room PC with a GTX 950 mostly because it makes games run ever so slightly better.

it used to run RDR2 until an update made it crash on startup for the lack of Vram
