Is nostalgia for the pre-internet world inherently reactionary?
History is a slow march of progress with each step punctuated by freefals of regress.
i guess it is if we assume the internet is a necessary part of the development of the productive forces
shit was so cash
>>828667the issue isnt really the internet but rather the way its used currently. under a socialist society we probably wouldnt have predatory algorithms trying to get us hooked and destroy our critical thinking skills
>>828678Dont blame the tool. Blame the one who uses it as a weapon.
>>828680wtf is that beard
>>828684they called it a chinstrap. I have always worn a chinstrap, though significantly thicker. more along the lines of an abraham lincoln

That image is from the internet world.
I feel like the 2000s were legitimately the last chance I could've had to have some kind of regular sex life. I fucked it up by being so asocial and anxious that I couldn't take advantage of what should've been slam dunks. At this point I would need to either pay for it or max like crazy, which really you should be doing at the ages that I was in the early 2000s. But this is probably all cope I probably would've fucked it up even if I had attempted to get myself involved in that part of life and that mightve hurt more than not trying. But then again maybe that part is cope as well.
Yes, and it's also retarded because life is objectively better now than it was before the internet
