Absolutely not, you try to take my computer, I beat you to death with a shovel.

What makes you say that?

No, you're just getting lazy. If you use twitter, stop that, twitter usage guarantees mental fatigue.

Of course a gacha addict would side with such a stupid philosophy

Im slowly realizing anprims are more reactionary than fascoids.

youre free to go die of infections and aids in the woods retard

They sentenced him because he stole shit from the neighbors, not because he lived in the woods.

>>829918
I mean it's kind of by definition, anprims are the most reactionary possible group because they want to set human development back further than anyone else.

if anything they are the most revolutionary because theyre trying to retvrn to amour de soi

>Rousseau’s picture of the state of nature, and human nature, was the opposite. He argued that people in their natural state were motivated by what he called amour de soi: a “love of self.” This meant living primarily to eat, sleep and reproduce for the continuation of the species. People with such minimal desires could meet their needs without resorting to violence and so life was peaceful, not the war “of every man, against every man” that Hobbes theorized.

>Rousseau proposed that the development of society had changed human nature itself, corrupting our natural goodness. In society, we became obsessed with vanity and the praise of our peers. The unceasing competition Hobbes spoke of was not a reflection of our original nature, but a distortion of it.

AND THIS WAS NECESSARY / GOOD. FUCK NATURE

marxoids not doing apologism for the perfectioning of the state and the destruction of planet challenge: impossible

>>829956
both rousseau and hobbes were philosopher, not anthropologists so their "state of nature, and human nature" views both are wrong, even if rousseau was closer to reality

and that's bad?

This planet can barely sustain 25 million hunter-gatherers as this mode of production is extremely inefficient. Compare this to the current 8 billion people living here. Anprim society would mean that billions would die from hunger and disease.

>>830018
25 million would have been enough. There was no need for 8 billion of us.

>>829986
Personally I think people should be allowed to live their lives and not forced into being cavemen.

>>829975
>anthropology
That is a misconception with social contract theory, tbh.
I don't think that is a fair interpretation.
Like Hobbes wasn't appealing to a distant mythological past in that way.
In his case, there are things you can observe now.
>Notice how people lock their doors
>Notice how people even within their own factions/comradeship break into drama and shitshows and in-fighting
>Notice how in every war there is an inevitable slew of warcrimes
>Notice how moral pretense feeds into ambition and ends up killing more people
>Notice how soldiers aren't paid with honors and speeches, but will coup you if you don't pay them
etc

Anyone who has a realpolitic understanding of geopolitics and international relationships typically already operates on the Hobbesian framework, tbh.

>>829495
I must resist… the thoughts…

primitivism has no method of implementation. how are you supposed to re-establish hunter gather society through revolution when most conflicts are determined by who has superior productive forces and technology?

>but we run outta oil n lithium n shit

running out of oil and lithium doesn't instantly put us back in hunter gatherer mode, it just means people will fall back on other fuel types. Even if technology goes backwards, conflicts will be determined by who has the most advanced stuff. There is no way to implement primitivism.

Anprims are idealists. they just say tech bad and they wanna go backwards. OK how do you do that?

>>830018

>>830020
>25 million would have been enough. There was no need for 8 billion of us.

there was no need for any of us. but now we are here. reality is determined by the unfolding of real events, not by how you think things "should" be. idealists always start with how they think things "should" be and then complain about things not being that way, and create no plan for bringing about how they think things "should" be nor do they put how they think things "should" be to any critical questioning, to change their dreams from fantasies into actionable plans. i've noticed idealists on here also confuse realism with reformism. like asking them to stop being morons fantasizing about their own personal utopia is likened to being a liberal and telling them to VOOT. it's like they think the more deluded they are the more revolutionary they are.

>>830088
oh and 1 more thing even if you kill billions to get your anprim society, how do you sustain it forever? How do you prevent the re-emergence of technology from the ruins? by passing down myths about tech being bad? literal idealism. in any struggle where the person with superior productive forces and tech wins out, there will be an incentive for a tribe to try and win by reinventing tech.

>>829974
ok but how do you "un-invent" technology, "un-invent" the state, reduce everyone back to hunter gatherers, and most importantly prevent history from repeating afterwards? you can't. the second we are all back to tribes of 50 we will either find tech in the ruins or reinvent it for practical reasons.

>>829497
this. no one can break a gamer's will….

>>829941
I like the idea of what he did but not the actual practice. Not so much the stealing shit part although I'd probably have a difficult tome doing that. More the surviving the cold winter part. I don't particularly like being around people and just taking stuff sounds pretty good but living out in the woods never really appealed to me.

>all the arguments boil down to things that are happening right now under capitalism

>>829852
I don't really see how you could derive an anprim message from Nikke.

anprims have no answer. their threads die or they ignore you when these questions are brought up

>>830064
>Like Hobbes wasn't appealing to a distant mythological past in that way.
then the argument is even more senseless, because all those things you're referring to are not happening in a "state of nature", and all those things have very different social causes & effects

"the state of nature" is seen in Hobbes' case in foreign war and rebellion.

In war, Hobbes says, anything is possible to that extent.
International war is the state of nature at large.
Rebellion is a state of war also.

Mongol empire represented the absolute pinnacle of military technology for its time.

>>830548
>he forgets that the mongols literally only took over existing civilizations as horse lord administrators and then proceeded to integrate into the decadent court politics of those cultures.
>he forgets that the mongols literally invented germ warfare by catapulting diseased bodies over city walls
>he forgets that the mongols had the most advanced horse archery tactics of their time
dumbass
