I agree overall but I don't see why a prison and/or jail that should ideally be rehabilitating people doesn't just shoot reactoid mass shooters out back and save the lodging and food for anyone else. I don't really care if they "deserve" it or not I just don't think they should rot away in a box for decades when several other people who did crimes as a result of poverty or addiction could have used the extra space and food and be out of said box in a couple years.
