ironically enough i hear the opposite, back then for your boomer parents and grandparents it was even 10 times harder to keep the prettyboy look since everyone smoked and medicine had potent drugs..its not hard to see a bit of 30 year olds today that look youthful compared to back in the day.

but anon tom cruise is wearing lots of makeup to look older in that second pic . here is how the 64 year old actor looks outside of that character makeup.
