>first generation raised entirely by AI chatbots, twitter ragebait and online pornography
are we genuinely done for? are zoomers/gen alpha even sapient?
I worry for millenials / booms / etc… that think like this. Zooms and alphas are surfing the web just like you did, it's just the line between surfing and lazing about in a centralized platform is much clearer now, and platforms algorithmically disincentivize talking about online activities that aren't itself or a handful of friendily competitors.
To unironically think the youngins are stuck on AI and twitter is to admit that you are yourself stuck in that cycle, or else you'd see the youngins surfing too.
>>831544>are zoomers […] even sapient?I once again remind everyone present here that the oldest "zoomer" is like 31.
a few generations ago children were raised to believe that evil spirits and sorcerers were everywhere and that being born is a sin and that suffering in silence is a christlike virtue and that any day now the world would be consumed in the fires of the last judgment and if they dared to question anything they were taught they would be flogged. the zoomers will be fine.
>>831560Gen Alpha is objectively brain-rotted though, as shown by lower PISA scores and other stuff.
>>831560i guess we should ignore all the pediatricians and psychiatrists warning us that giving children unlimited internet access can stunt their growth
>>831564don't forget the lead poisoning
>>831570i guess we should ignore all the marxists and leninists warning us that continuing capitalism is species-suicide
