redditors have gotten worse and worse over the years but nobody seems to ever want to talk about it, it's even worse than 4chan yet somehow manages to enjoy this teflon reputation as a bastion of rational discourse and liberal humanist politics. it's gotten worse since the IPO debacle, when anyone with a brain in their head who still frequented the site said "fuck this shit" and left and never went back and the only ones who stayed are the ones who are genuinely crazy terminally-online social media addicted mutants who have like six or seven-figure karma score and they actually care about it and are too motivated by loneliness and sunk costs to contend with the fact that they are wasting their life and losing their minds and have a serious problem. whenever reddit finally goes under, medical universities are going to have a field day with all the unclaimed cadavers piling up at their doors.
