The great irony of the pearl clutching over Piss Christ is that the message of that art piece is that people aren't respecting Jesus enough. I think he said that part of it was that the commercialization and cheapening of Christian imagery was essentially "pissing on Christ."

this comic is not only unfunny but doesn't resonate, i haven't heard many militant atheists who are vehement defenders of judaism, if anything they tend to be quite antisemitic. furthermore christianity is a superset of judaism and you can't really separate and compartmentalize them without completely ignoring what they actually are and speaking entirely in illogical abstract ideological gibberish, in which case you're simply reinventing religion again.
