its dialectical. the universe appears to come from a big bang. but really that was the last universe commiting suicide. you see the universe evolves into a conscious god through trillions of years of evolution on different planets. to solve heat death the galactic civilizations come together in a hivemind. eventually the hivemind conquers the universe, and becomes one lonely god who kills itself. this results in the next big bang.

As an event, yes you can say it created the universe but you wouldn't really call it a "creator" unless you were trying to make this silly argument that "God" can be a totally non conscious physical process (which is not how people actually use that word).

Would you say that a mountain is the "creator" of a rockslide? No, nobody would
