Khruschev, Brezhnev and the rest were despicable opportunists for sure, but at least they didn't stoop to the level of class-collaborationism and anti-sovietism the Chinese did. Plus, the USSR has a legacy worthy of being defended, China just kinda tried to voluntarize themselves into socialism, and then that failed, and then we got dengism.
