How do we live in a "dictatorship of the bourgeoisie" if their votes have the same weight as everyone else's?
Because the politicians ie the middlemen being voted in to "represent" the ppl are being bribed and flattered by big business and other 'powers behind the throne' ie Epstein, secret societies, etc. or uh
Something like that
There are other dimensions to this as well I'm just naming one of them
we actually live in a dictatorship of my mom cuz she doesnt let me play games until 5 am even though im 31 years old
>>835371So basically every critic of modern "democratic" republics were justified and correct? Damn.. Looks like we'll have to choose some other system of governance!
>>835377i mean most of those critics were in favour of even more elitist systems, we need direct democracy
>>835383Yeah it's so much worse to have the "tyranny of the majority" rather than tyranny by literally one (1) guy
>>835385You're going to hate what I'm going to say here but civilization wouldn't have advanced this far without the organization and guiding hand of monarchs, not in spite of, but because of.
Did democracy do any of that, in all of world history? Uuuhhh, I don't think so.
>>835385Feel free to make a counterpoint but I don't think you'll go far with it.
The only reason why you have republics or parliaments nowadays is because of nobility or noveau rich wanting their own power, it was never about you, me, anyone else, or even the monarch for that matter lmao.
Simply, the bourgeoisie, as a class, hold ownership of the vast majority of productive forces. They can use this as great leverage in matters of governance, especially since not everything is voted on by everyone every single time something happens. They also sell the things that society at large requires to reproduce itself and have various coercive methods to maintain their claims of ownership of the means of production.
As such, it is a dictatorship of that class over the working class in the sense that I think it's more apt to say that it's a dictatorship of the logic of capital since gthe bourgeoisie are compelled to act in occordance with it but capital is not a historical agent
If you want direct democracy then you will have to give the avg. person more responsibility than what they're capable.. of doing.
Do any of you honestly think the avg. person is ready for this?
marx btfo forever all leftists kill they/themselves. shut leftypol down
The boeugoeise controls the real source of immediate physical power, the military. They control the real source of sustaining their power a.k.a private property, by using military force against anyone who takes their private property. They control the superstructure via media and academia. They control the courts. They use their vast wealth to fund and influence politicians. And finally, there are multiple countries which acts as an insurance policy. If any one country overthrows the bourgeosie, the others will invade and destroy that country.
Any questions?
>>835412But what about Hitler
>>835412The Nazis had power because they controlled the military and police and militias. Without that, anyone could walk up to Hitler and shoot hi..
>>835416I'm honestly stunned that neither Trump or another fat pedo like Randy Fine hasn't had their brains splattered yet.
Honestly, how hard can it be to kill these guys? If some 17 year old spergs almost made it, there has to be someone more capable that can at the _very_ least give Marco Rubio poisoned coke or rape Stephen Miller
