i used to think my involuntary urge for the death of people who annoy me deeply was a sort of boyish privilege from someone who didn't fully understand death, didn't realize the weight of a life removed even if it belonged to an enemy. that it would go away as soon as my "wish" came true, that seeing the head of an opponent being blown apart would awaken a horror and compassion within me and i would then be able to live with myself. but seeing kirk get kirk'd and thompson get wesson'd has made it clear that there's no greater pleasure than seeing the Other get humiliatingly disposed of. i now hope every day that i will get online and witness a new scene of grotesque violence against someone i hate, from actual villains to simply proudly, obnoxiously ignorant mediocrities. this filthy and irritating world has nothing else to offer me.
