do u think the space race is important????????!?!
would ancoms have a space program?????????!?!
would the egoists have a space program??????!?!
would eco socialists have a space program????!?!
BE HONEST!!!!!!!!!!!!
Niga we arent even done with the earth bullshit slow down
Proof that space exists?
bourgeois vanity project. the space race is the 21st century equivalent of ancient kings building large golden statues of themselves
>would eco socialists have a space program?
Yes, in fact in fact strip mining asteroids seems like an ecological alternative to doing it in your front yard.

You notice today the only people championing it are the oligarchs and scammers like Musk and Bezos. The bourgeois vanity aspect was just a cover for the real purpose was to weaponize it. The only useful aspect for space development has only ever been sattelites.
>>836906Not feasible or cost-effective or people would already be doing it. If it ever does become feasible or cost-effective it will be completely automated. No fantasies of flash gordon and living on the moon and Mars.
>do u think the space race is important????????!?!
Its both scientifically and economically important (H3 and asteroids).
>would ancoms have a space program?????????!?!
Nothing prevents a confederation of communes from having a space program.
>would the egoists have a space program??????!?!
Nothing prevents union of egoists from having a space program.
>would eco socialists have a space program????!?!
Not sure about environmental impacts space race has on the moons environment.
where is the finish line in the space race? what is out there that we don't already have here? there's nothing really alien about the rest of the solar system, until you reach the level of biology everything in the universe is all basically the same shit, just simple inorganic elements and compounds. whatever rare metals there may be inside of asteroids or other rocky planets, it would be cheaper and easier to simply improve our earth-based surveying and drilling technologies to access deeper deposits in the earth's crust which we have barely even scratched the surface of. the trace amounts of helium-3 on the moon is a fossil fuel that took billions of years of solar radiation to form and would be exhausted extremely quickly if used as a fusion power fuel, and the other important fusion isotope deuterium naturally occurs in water and there's no more convenient source of water than the earth's ocean. there is literally nothing out there for us, we belong to the earth and we are bound to the earth, we are the earth and we cannot be separated from it.
>>836918>Mine the helium 3 on the moon just so we can release it all into the stratosphere again. Eventually we are going to have to figure out how to conserve resources instead of imagining new deposits to exploit. I doubt we will see economically feasible moon minimg in your or my lifetime.
>>836917I can draw the same thing in Photoshop.
the obsession with the space race is just another manifestation of our inability to look inward, the earth and its lifeforms and our own bodies and minds are already vastly unexplored unknown territories that we know almost nothing about and we are afraid to know ourselves so we look in the opposite direction and try to know everything but ourselves.
