The yellow square is more difficult: I do not personally
like them, but they tend to be high openness, low agreeableness. This is a very important personality type to keep around because it acts as a useful counterweight to the high agreeableness tendencies of the left bloc. (high agreeableness, high openness. left/right proxies agreeableness, authoritarian/libertarian proxies openness, glibly, but with that said the authoritarian left is much more open minded than the right so it's not a linear mapping.) There is a tendency towards groupthink and, while they are fucking annoying, it is good to have contrarians around who will test your ideas by argument.
I also have a certain respect for their underlying selfish motives in the sense that a selfish actor is still a rational actor. A selfish actor will not generally make himself worse off to make you worse off as well. This is something we can work with, even if the motivations are less than pure. Meanwhile the blue quadrant regularly finds itself in a the opposite of a pareto equilibrium, where anything but their present stance would make everyone better off.
In internet discourse terms, I would like an internet of communists, anarchists, and libertarians. All of them are capable of good and interesting arguments, all of them are even right about some things the others get wrong. This is not true for conservatives/reactionaries, who are wrong about everything and want what is worse for everybody. They are the only segment of the population which is unambiguously backwards looking, anti-civilisation, anti-progress. In personality terms, if there was one set of traits we could socially or genetically engineer out, it would be the conservative bloc. We would keep the other 3.
