I'm not sure if I should tell you. I have in mind to make on the order of 1g of nitrocellulose, to verify EU chemical procurement peculiarities. I had a bit of a scare with an experiment involving methanol lately, so I've grown more cautious

also I disagree with this guide's recommendation to use glass jars. use ESD bags on an ESD mat

and a word of caution that I forgot: if you make your own priming compound then you run the risk of accidental discharge down the line. getting the shock sensitivity right is non-trivial. sure the first few rounds might be OK, but are you certain the vibrations/shock in repeated firings won't set off one in a hundred rounds?
