The people; absolute not. The state; many. Most people here view the NKVD as a monarch more than an AES state. There are some elements of genuine socialism that do exist under the Juche, but the state as a whole is functionally a monarch. What matters to North Korea today is its potential to finally see some support (or at the least, less open hostility) towards its existence, so that the citizens there have the opportunity to build a better society for themselves.

>destroyed biologically

https://www.independent.co.uk/asia/east-asia/north-korea-close-borders-railway-roads-south-korea-b2626980.html

>North Korea said it would permanently seal its border with South Korea and cut off all roads and railways linking the neighbouring countries but stopped short, for now, of formally declaring Seoul its chief enemy.

>Pyongyang would “permanently shut off and block the southern border”, the official KCNA news agency reported, adding it would "fortify the relevant areas of our side with strong defence structures”.

>The military called it a "self-defensive measure for inhibiting war and defending the security" of North Korea as "the hostile forces are getting ever more reckless in their confrontational hysteria”.

>It was unclear how the decision would impact relations with South Korea, analysts said, given that travel and exchanges across the border had been suspended for years.

>The decision came as the North’s parliament, the Supreme People’s Assembly, convened this week to announce key decisions. It was expected to formally change the country’s constitution to declare South Korea its "invariable principal enemy".

>North Korean leader Kim Jong-un declared South Korea “No 1 enemy” early this year and said Pyongyang would no longer seek reconciliation and reunification with it.

>Analysts were watching if the North would assert legal claims over the waters controlled by South Korea off its west coast. The poorly defined maritime boundary has been the site of several bloody naval skirmishes over the past 25 years.

>Some experts suspected that North Korea might have delayed the constitutional revision while others speculated it had already amended the document without publicising it because of its sensitivity.

>South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said on Wednesday they would not tolerate any attempt by the North to change the status quo on the border.

>The South would “overwhelmingly punish” the North if it launched any provocation, it said in a statement.

>Pyongyang’s latest decision, it claimed, was “a desperate measure stemming from the insecurity of the failed Kim Jong-un regime” and would “only lead to its harsher isolation.”

>The South earlier said the North had been placing anti-tank barriers and reinforcing roads on its side of the border since April in a likely attempt to boost its frontline security posture and prevent its citizens from defecting away.

>In a report to the parliament on Tuesday, South Korea’s Unification Ministry said that North Korea had been removing linkages on its side of the crossborder railways and planting mines.

>Tensions have been rising on the Korean peninsula in recent years with the North continuing a run of weapons tests and the South expanding their military drills with the US.

>The tensions spiralled earlier this year after the North dropped thousands of balloons filled with trash on the South in retaliation for the South sending across balloons filled with propaganda material.

what do we think about north korea anons? is it a truly socialist/communist country or just another fascist state disguised as left-wing

>>1982125
No it’s socialist. Under embargoes and monarchistic? Yeah. However, it is a socialist state, and in the future, it will only be even more socialist as the DPRK evolves.

>>1982128
i'm not suuuper informed on how socialism works but doesn't monarchism seem antithetical to such an ideology?? maybe i'm slow idk

>>1982133
The DPRK when ignoring the heads of state is a socialist autarky. The country has survived by keeping’s its industries nationalized and its people fed with whatever the things they collectively make. This basic relation between what people make and get is what makes the DPRK socialist by principle. The reason why the state ends up being monarchistic is over the crushing brutality of the Kim family whom haven’t decentralized power away from themselves.

These two aspects of North Korea put together create two different societies within the state. One is a collectivist socialist state, and the other is an autocratic monarchy. These two societies interrelate, but you end up with the weirdness that is North Korea.

>>1982134
so basically a socialist country with a cult of personality (i.e. Juche), got it

>>1982137
Good to see you understood.

>>1982125
They abondoned Marxism.

Most of the "weird" stuff you see about them, like excessive crying at funerals, can be turned right around to bourgeois states. Look up how Americans reacted to the death of princess Diana. It was utterly bizarre. Look at how the brits nearly committed mass suicide after the queen died, who is literally just a landlord.

The strict economic system is just wartime communism since they still an extended ceasefire against the bourgeois world. This means a command economy to maximize production in areas of need, especially under the condition of being the MOST EMBARGOED COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. We practice the same thing except we pay for it via loot from the exploited countries.

As for the rest of the shit you read, it's pretty much universally a lie since the South Korean government has strict censorship laws and outright pays for the sluts that they call "defectors" to make up lies, usually easily confirmable lies like "everyone in NK has to have Kim's haircut." South Korea is a heavily colonized country, defined by decades of extreme-fascist dictators, eventually replaced by corporate dictators, who do the job of brainwashing their country with settler-colonial values which has translated to their sex slave pop industry or their plastic surgery where they mutilate themselves to look white. They even prop up a fake nationalist dispute with Japan, despite the fact their biggest companies were created by the Japanese.

>>1982133
It's not a monarchy. It's a party system. As for why they're not more prevalent, well socialists don't care about bourgeois parliamentary elections. We care about a democratic dictatorship of the proletariat. Socialism being a shitload of splintered soc-dem parties is trotskyist brainrot, designed to weaken the communist state. You look at the US or pretty much any euro country and all the parties are just bourgeois parties that lean slightly left/right of each other.

Their current objective above all else is reunification while maintaining the socialist road, unlike what happened with Vietnam. Since they have done a good job at maintaining that road, they deserve support and not radlib criticism.

>>1982133
the "monarchy" and the "le kim family are le evil dictators who brutally murder oposition" are lies, literally USA propaganda (remember they are still on war).
the kim family is important cause Kim Il Sung is the fucking founder leader of the DPRK who fought japanese and USA imperialism and because of the taoist culture they have a imense respect for him, Kim Jong Il, being his son and having contributed to the philosophy of the socialist korea also is very important (and even with all that i think he almost lost the first election btw), Kim Jong Un follows the same idea. and it's not like all of korea agrees 100% with what they do, there is oposition.

>>1982233
They abandoned Marxism.
You should elaborate when saying these things.
It's vague enough to be useless.

<North Korea says artillery ready to ‘open fire’ on South
<The North Korean military has ordered frontline artillery units to “get fully ready to open fire” on South Korea after drones from the South allegedly dropped propaganda leaflets over Pyongyang, the state-run KCNA news agency reported on Sunday.
>The North Korean government claimed on Friday that the South flew drones carrying propaganda leaflets over the capital on three separate occasions this month, including two flights earlier this week. While North Korea has responded to previous propaganda campaigns by sending balloons filled with rubbish and excrement southwards, the latest incidents warrant a military response, KCNA reported.

>In this way, Marxism-Leninism became a recognized ideological trend of the contemporary times that contributed to smashing tyranny of imperialism and shaping a new destiny of man. However, all the factors restricting their destiny were not eradicated even though the groundwork for socialism had been provided. Remnants of the old society still lingered in nature and society. In order to solve the problem of their destiny completely, people have to wage an uninterrupted struggle to remould nature, society and themselves in an independent and creative way and continue with the revolution. But as they indulged themselves in the elated atmosphere of the socialist revolution, they could not realize this. History advanced, and Marxism-Leninism became an ideological trend of the past.

Interesting, certainly they move away from it slightly/acknowledge limitations/failures of ML, but of a reach to call it slander though wouldn't you say?

hmm yes this must be the reasoning of the NK regime and people. personally I find SK so repugnant that they deserve to have their entire capital city wiped out but I understand North Koreans are far more forgiving. endlessly forgiving. one day their patience must run out…

>>1985189
Yeah I mean, I think most koreans are probably just decent people who do not wish to see mass death through nuclear incineration

What makes you hate the occupied koreans so much that you wish a bunch of innocent of them to die horrific deaths?

The USA is too busy with Ukraine+Israel+elections so if Kim wants to pull off a forced reunification the time is now or never.

>>1985268
I know it's not gonna happen but if there was a coordinated action where Russia launched a big offensive in Ukraine, the Axis launched a major missile barrage against Israel, China invaded Taiwan and the DPRK invaded the South, that might just cause the whole Western imperialist apparatus to be overwhelmed and crash.

>>1984715
"There's only one korea" and calling Korea "Choson", shows the historic union between the koreas, they were never separated.
Back then north koreans were welcomed as heroes by the south koreans, they were artificially divided by the imperialistic forces of the USA, even families were and still are separated. So in my analisis there's no reason why they would bomb south koreans.

>>1984762
have you read the book?

>>1985398
Read how it claims ML understands struggle under imperialism, and compare it to Foundations of Leninism. It specifically says that the Kim Il Sung broke from ML because ML supposedly taught that national liberation was not important in comparison to the class struggle. Meanwhile Stalin specifically said that in the case of a colonized nation and a colonizing nation, even if the proletariat of the colonizing nation generally support the colonization and the leader of the colonized nation is of a ruling class (he gives the example of the British in Afghanistan) a communist would still align with the forced opposed to colonization.
Btw, this book claims that Kim Il Sung broke with ML before liberation because of this, but that's nonsense.
Kim Il Sung repeatedly stated that the ideas he was focusing on were consistent with Marxism-Leninism.

>>1985415
Stalin and Lenin made the of how are revolutions in colonized and colonizer countries too. The brutal japanese imperialism was a strong factor of the revolution, just like China, that means the national factor is a revolutionary factor.
I'd recommend reading "On the Juche Philosophy" by Kim Jong Il, the most important text about Juche

>"In his early years of revolutionary activities, the leader

was well versed in Marxism-Leninism. But he did not
confine himself to applying Marxism-Leninism to the
Korean revolution but pioneered a new phase of
revolutionary theory from a steadfast Juche-based
standpoint and resolved the problems arising in the
revolutionary practice from a unique angle"
>"Needless to say, the Juche philosophy includes the
necessary principles of the dialectical materialism of
Marxism. However, it is an original philosophy in that it
presented, to start with, a new fundamental question of
philosophy and systematized its structural system and
content."
By having the people as center they managed to keep their socialist experience alive despite everything.

>>1985172
This could be read more as a historical tidbit than a denunciation of ML. I can't know the authors intention, but I read it in a more neutral tone, something like "and ML was no longer an ideology that existed strongly anywhere anymore".
Just my 2c.

>>1985435
Saying that ML became outdated or a "trend of the past" is not the same as repudiating Marxism. It sounds more like an argument that Juche is a new synthesis of Marxism applied to Korean conditions and incorporating the lessons of its revolution. Revolutions will stagnate and fail if they don't constantly update their theory based on their own lessons and experiences and applied to their unique conditions.

I think the latest constitution for DPRK starts with a preamble honoring Kim Il Sung & Kim Jong Il.
Obviously, even in monarchy, the sons aren't seen equals with their father, or their father with their grand father either.
The founding father has the pre-eminence, the sons follow by his example, and borrow his name.
Anyways, before I make any further discussion about this: my own criteria for monarchy – I generally place in my 8 points with Bodin's marks of sovereignty.
The biggest clutch I think people can make for the idea that DPRK is more than it seems – is that the DPRK Constitution & Juche doctrine have to be considered together and not independently: because the people who maintain that – they suggest that it might be a Party mechanism or doctrine, which obliges the members of SPA (who are mostly members of the WPK) into supporting their Party Head (the Leader) which according to point #10 is carried from generation to generation.

The question of a monarch figure matters little;

By contrast the issue of the single center in a planned economy whose decrees carry force of law is paramount.

If a monarch like figure happens to facilitate this so be it. If it becomes an obstacle then let be purged. The issue is secondary compared to gosplan uber alles.

(See also some of Alexde Safronov's vids on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlAJb1DIxsY&list=PLy6KmUKjGPWRF8OtMnevh4WovRm3PKeS9)

Those are 16th century standards, & they almost check out.

Let's play Devil's Advocate (despite my own criteria):
Formally, the two main things the separate the Leaders from the other more traditional kings in the region is religion & capitalism.
If I were going by a more contemporary basis for my criteria, and looking at contemporary examples, sure–the King of Bhutan could also be dismissed, and there are provisions in the constitution of Thailand that also gives more semblance of a democracy like the DPRK.
The constitutional provisions for Thailand also maintain the sovereignty mostly lies with the people, & the King is similarity kept around as a head. There are also corporatist maxims for the King and the People in Thailand.

I doubt the constitutional provision to dismiss the Leader is effective in practice, because
1. There's no way, with all this dedication to their Leader, they'll use that provision.
2. Democratic centralism will oblige all party members to stay with the leader of the party
3. Party doctrine asserts that the Leader is vital to the life of the country: party doctrine asserts they cannot truly live without the leader (so how would they dismiss him?)

south "korea" is now sending military drones over the border, dprk said they found a crash today 0_0
https://www.rt.com/news/605938-north-korea-threatens-declaration-war/
<North Korea threatens to declare war
>North Korea claimed on Saturday to have found fragments of a crashed South Korean military drone, and threatened to retaliate, intensifying a standoff on the peninsula.
>According to Pyongyang’s state-run news agency KCNA, the UAV was likely used to drop leaflets over the capital. Similar drones were spotted scattering leaflets full of “political propaganda and slander” earlier this month, the outlet said.
>“If a violation of the DPRK’s territorial ground, air and waters by ROK’s military means is discovered and confirmed again, it will be regarded as a grave military provocation against the sovereignty of the DPRK and a declaration of war and an immediate retaliatory attack will be launched,” KCNA warned, as quoted by Reuters.
>Kim Yo-jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and a top government official, claimed on Thursday that Pyongyang had “clear evidence” that the South had violated the North's airspace.

https://www.rt.com/news/605982-south-korea-needs-nukes/
<South Korea needs nukes – Seoul mayor
>South Korea must have a nuclear deterrent in order to keep its northern neighbor at bay at all times, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon has said.
>In a Facebook post on Friday, Oh denounced what he called “unbearable threats” against his city, referring to comments made by Kim Jong-un, who recently called South Korea a “hostile nation.” A photo released by the North’s state-run Korean Central News Agency showed the DPRK’s supreme leader conferring with his top officials over a map of Seoul.
>According to the mayor, North Korea has only dared to engage in those “brazen and provocative actions” because it possesses nuclear weapons, while South Korea does not, creating what he called an “asymmetric” situation.
>“This is why we must urgently increase our nuclear deterrence capabilities… There is no other way to achieve peace than by strengthening national defense,” he said, without elaborating on how he plans to accomplish such a feat.

I cannot say anything definitive on North Korea as there is no information on it, but given that, just like China, just like Vietnam, it doesn't put any effort into promoting the international communist movement anymore, despite controlling an entire country, I don't consider it communist. A communist who does nothing to promote communism is not communist. Cuba does still put its limited resources into promoting communism. The soviet union, even during its most isolated or most "peacefull coexistance" era did far more to promote communism than those three countries.

I thought so too at first but what has been wrong under him? since him DPRK has not attempted rapprochement with ROK or USA, DPRK has vocally remained committed to socialist in it's public media output, DPRK has been going ahead with policies that objectively raise the material conditions of the workers within the country; such as the recent home building campaigns housing hundreds of thousands in new homes in rural communities across the country, the regional industrial development plan with a seemingly sincere desire to leave no province behind, DPRK is committed to environmental and education development, always proclaiming scientific development and understanding as it's north star.
Even if he's a useless nepo baby, which i'm not saying is true, i couldn't much care less because whomever is putting in the work at the top is doing a decent job of it because the 'hermit kingdom' despite everything is arguably doing better than it has since the destruction of the USSR.

Trump tried to give him a offer to open up markets in the DPRK and get trillions of dollars and being able to live in luxury and he refused. Call this a hot take but it isn't bad to have hereditary leadership especially if it is coming from the masses. Honestly it shouldn't matter if he is a nepo baby because he was elected into that position anyway and is genuinely doing good work for socialism and is actually an improvement from his father. I believe it is a republic but people will insist with the hermit kingdom title no matter what. Either way i've yet to see a reason why this "hermit kingdom" is bad other than it reminds people of monarchy and monarchy = bad.

<He might be a fattie but he's happy to share his treats <3<3<3

Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) – A spokesman for the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK said on Oct. 18 that the ROK military gangsters' involvement in the serious provocation of violating the DPRK's sovereignty was clearly proved through the discovery of decisive material evidence and an objective and scientific investigation into it.
According to the spokesman, the Pyongyang Municipal Security Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security of the DPRK on October 13 discovered the remains of a crashed drone in the area of the neighborhood No. 76, Sopho-dong No. 1, Hyongjesan District while intensively searching the districts of Pyongyang Municipality.
A joint investigation group of the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of State Security and other relevant specialized institutions was organized to forensically examine the remains of the drone.
As a result, it was scientifically proved that the drone came from the ROK.

Through the technical examination and analysis, the experts judged that the drone was a "light one for long-range reconnaissance" equipped with by the "Drone Operation Command" of the ROK military and that it is the type same as the vehicle-carried one opened to public at an event marking the "ROK Army Day."From the remaining battery power and fuel of the drone, they inferred that the drone might have been used at least five to seven days ago.
In light of the drone's shape, the presumptive period of flight, the leaflet-scattering box fixed to the underpart of the drone's fuselage, etc., it is quite likely that the drone is the one which scattered leaflets over the center of Pyongyang Municipality. But the conclusion has not yet been drawn.
If the drone's involvement in the recent leaflet-scattering incident is denied, it will be evidence of another wanton violation of the airspace of our country by a military means of the ROK and it will be taken more seriously as an example of a series of provocations by the military gangsters of the hostile country.

Despite the shameless excuses made by the ROK military, the objective evidence and scientific analysis go to clearly prove the ROK committed a hostile provocation of violating the DPRK's sovereignty.
Explicitly speaking again, the DPRK is not interested in the chief culprit and perpetrators of the drone provocation but focus on the fact that the criminals, whether they are military gangsters or scum of out-of-border fugitives' organization, all belong to the clan of the hostile country.
The Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK and the General Staff of the Korean People's Army gave all units in the capital city and near the border instructions to reinforce anti-air observation posts.
The General Staff decided to keep the combined artillery units and the units with important fire duties near the border in full combat readiness, and this decision has been approved.
A spokesman for the Ministry of National Defence of the DPRK warned that if a violation of the DPRK's territorial ground, air and waters by ROK's military means is discovered and confirmed again, it will be regarded as a grave military provocation against the sovereignty of the DPRK and a declaration of war and an immediate retaliatory attack will be launched. -0-

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Reply Message from Xi Jinping
Pyongyang, October 20 (KCNA) – Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a reply message from Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People's Republic of China, on October 16.
<The reply message says:
The respected Comrade General Secretary,
I express my heartfelt thanks to you for sending a message of greeting on the occasion of the 75th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.
For 75 years since the founding of the new China, the Communist Party of China has united and led the peoples of different nations throughout the country, performing two miracles of achieving rapid economic development and long-term social stability, and the great prosperity of the Chinese nation has entered an irreversible historical process.
The Chinese people will work tirelessly to push forward with the cause of building a powerful country and achieving national prosperity comprehensively through the modernization of the Chinese style, more firmly united behind the Party Central Committee.
I sincerely hope that the fraternal DPRK people will continue to achieve fresh successes by promoting the cause of socialist construction under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by you, Comrade General Secretary.
China and the DPRK are linked by the same mountain and rivers, and the traditional friendship between the two countries is growing stronger with the passage of time.
I am willing to make greater contributions, together with you, Comrade General Secretary, to leading the traditional China-DPRK friendly and cooperative relations to sustainable and stable development, steadily promoting the well-being of the peoples of the two countries and safeguarding regional and global peace, stability, development and prosperity.
I wish you good health and success in your work.
I wish your country prosperity and your people happiness and well-being. -0-

Press Statement of Kim Yo Jong, Vice Department Director of C.C., WPK
Pyongyang, October 22 (KCNA) – Kim Yo Jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, issued the following press statement on Tuesday:
The reckless infringement upon the sovereignty of the DPRK by the ROK military gangsters is a hideous military provocation that can never be pardoned.
Seoul will have to experience at first hand so as to know properly how dangerous act it committed and how terrible and fatal the consequences it brought on itself are.
A military provocation against a nuclear weapons state may be led to horrible situation, unimaginable for politicians and military experts in any big or small country in the world with their normal thinking to experience. So, there will be no such instance except one recently made by lunatics of the ROK and Ukraine.
Such deed can be done only by lunatics in the Seoul and Kiev regimes.
Seoul and Kiev are exact counterparts in going about begging and letting loose reckless remarks against nuclear weapons states at random without follow-up capability.
It seems to be a common feature of bad dogs bred by the U.S.
The DPRK detective agencies' investigation into the drones from the ROK is going on and the truth behind the despicable provocation of the ROK military gangsters will be analyzed further in detail.
No one knows how our retaliation and revenge will be completed.
A lot of political motivational rubbish sent by the ROK scum was discovered and removed in many parts of the DPRK on October 21, too.
The brute courage of the Seoul authorities to jump into fire with brushwood on their backs, far from reflecting on their conducts and being prudent, will bring the danger of destruction of all the scum. And they will be denounced by everyone else. -0-

Respected Comrade Loving Care for Orphans
Pyongyang, October 23 (KCNA) – The Pyongyang Baby Home and the Pyongyang Orphanage called palaces of children are situated on the picturesque Taedong River bank.
The baby home and the orphanage with all conditions and environment for nursing, education and living are the cradles of happiness for orphans, built under the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un's noble loving care for posterity.
After initiating the construction of the baby home and the orphanage, the General Secretary chose their sites at the best place, guided their layouts and gave field guidance at the construction sites several times, indicating the orientation and ways for the construction.
One day in October 2014, he visited the completed baby home and the orphanage and said with satisfaction that there would be no such wonderful home for children in the world as them.
Saying that all the elements of the baby home and the orphanage are suitable for living environment and educational places, he gave precious instructions on enhancing the responsibility and role of the nursery school and kindergarten teachers, stressing that it is more important to bring up the children well than to build such establishments.
The song "We Are the Happiest in the World" is always heard at the baby home and orphanage built thanks to the paternal loving care of the General Secretary who spares nothing for the children. -0-

I dream of meeting KJU one day.

Japan publicly claims at UN, "There's no basis for comfort women claims"… South Korean representative remains silent, while the North Korean representative engages in heated debate

At a recent UN conference discussing women's human rights issues, it was belatedly confirmed through MBC reporting that the Japanese representative directly denied the historical facts, saying that "the comfort women claim is groundless."

At that time, the North Korean representative engaged in a heated exchange with the Japanese representative, but our South Korean representative did not say anything.

The Third Committee of the UN General Assembly on the 9th.

At the meeting on women's rights, a North Korean representative demanded a sincere apology and compensation from Japan for the issue of military comfort women.

[Kim Seong/North Korea's Ambassador to the UN] "As many as 200,000 women and girls on the Korean Peninsula were made sexual slaves by the Japanese government and military."

The Japanese representative immediately refuted this, saying it was a "baseless and incorrect claim."

"Every country must face its history humbly, and Japan has done so," he also argued.

[Masako Kamiya/Special Advisor to Japan] "North Korea's previous statements about Japan were wrong and without basis."

North Korea repeatedly refuted the claims as if they were absurd, and Japan also refuted them again, and the two sides continued their attack through three rounds of statements.

[North Korea's delegation to the UN] "Japan's crimes cannot be erased or changed.

[Japan's delegation to the UN] "The claims and figures that North Korea just mentioned are based on errors and are completely baseless."

Japan has repeatedly denied the existence of military comfort women.

The Korean representative also had the opportunity to speak, but he never spoke and remained silent.

Although all UN meetings are broadcast live, they have not received much attention domestically.

In response to parliamentary questions about why it did not speak out, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded by saying, "The 2015 Korea-Japan comfort women agreement is an official agreement between the two countries," and that it would refrain from criticizing it on the international stage.

[Kwon Chil-seung/National Assembly Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee] “Korea’s silence on Japan’s denial of the historical fact of comfort women is tantamount to joining Japan in its distortion of history.”

Two years after the Korea-Japan Comfort Women Agreement, a government task force that reviewed the contents of the agreement interpreted that "this agreement does not restrict the international community, including the UN, from treating it as a universal human rights issue."

A former senior diplomat with extensive experience working for the United Nations said, "From an international human rights perspective, this should have been a simple matter of stating the facts."

Vice Foreign Minister of DPRK Clarifies Stand on Rumor of Troop Dispatch to Russia
<Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) – Kim Jong Gyu, vice foreign minister of the DPRK in charge of Russian affairs, gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on Friday as regards a rumor that the troops of the Korean People's Army are dispatched to Russia which is recently drawing public attention in the world:
I heeded the rumor of the dispatch of KPA troops to Russia, which the world media is building up public opinion.
The DPRK Foreign Ministry does not directly engage in the things of the Ministry of National Defence, and does not feel the need to confirm it separately.
If there is such a thing that the world media is talking about, I think it will be an act conforming with the regulations of international law.
There will evidently exist forces which want to describe it as illegal one, I think.

G7 Is Developing into Global War Contractor Group: KCNA Commentary
Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) – G7 that has come under worldwide criticism recently held a meeting of defense ministers in Napoli of Italy for the first time in its history.
At the recent confab attended by the defense ministers of G7 and even representatives of the European Union and NATO under the manipulation of the U.S., they made public a "joint statement" inciting the inter-camp confrontation, while making reckless remarks that the "framework of international security has been plunged into graver danger" by such independent and sovereign states as the DPRK, Russia and China.
G7, formed as a group for the interests of a few countries to facilitate the "economic buildup" of the West in the 1970s, held a meeting of defense ministers, the first of its kind, which is unfit for its "mission and duty".
The "moneymaking group", which is not entitled to represent the international community and "supervise or control" the sovereign states in terms of its structure, impudently dealt with global security. This shows that G7 has turned definitely into a "club of war", not a "club of economy". It is a vivid manifestation of the double standards, a wanton challenge to international peace and an open declaration of new Cold War in the world that they justify the expansion of their defense industry and term sovereign states' exercise of legitimate rights "threats", while talking about "incompatibility-brought confrontation".

Today G7 has become the primary political servant for ensuring the U.S. hegemony.
G7's grave moves to further foster and expand the war of aggression under the pompous signboard of "international security and prosperity" are getting ever more undisguised in the Korean peninsula.
G7's interference in the Korean peninsula issue actually means the military expansion of NATO, the global war alliance.
NATO has invited the puppet ROK to its summit since 2022 and its secretary general was recently closeted with puppet Yoon Suk Yeol to discuss the intensified "cooperation system" against the DPRK.
Meanwhile, Western countries, NATO member states and member states of G7, which account for the backbone of the U.S.-led “UN Command”, are directly involved in the war drills for aggression against the DPRK.
Western countries are working hard to make the flames of war in Europe spill over into Asia, claiming "Asia and Europe are inseparable in terms of security". This grave reality seriously teaches that G7 has rapidly developed into a global "war contractor group".

The U.S. is now scheming to establish an axis of war serving its strategy for hegemony by rallying all its servants, including G7, in which war criminal states that inflicted huge damage on mankind in the last century hold a majority, and NATO, the worst-ever group seeking military confrontation.
G7 is committing an act of robbing others in broad daylight without shame and getting increasingly vocal in condemning someone's measures for bolstering up self-defensive capabilities. It had better look at its despicable image reflected in the eyes of the international community before pointing an accusing finger at others.
The more desperately G7, which is no more than a "shadow" of the U.S., slanders the DPRK's policy of the state nuclear force, bereft of reason, the more clearly it will betray its criminal colors as a harasser of peace, confrontation maniac and war merchant.
Explicitly speaking again, those who seek to deprive the DPRK of its inviolable right will have to pay a high price for it. -0-

>corporatism
>when theres no porkies
what a fucking retarded thing to say

>>1997614
>corporatist minus the class collaborationism
plate without food. The purpose of the corporatism is to protect capitals unalienable rights (property, profit, coercive power) threatened by crisis through rejecting class war through a collaborative effort. While this does mean depressors on capitals freedom this is in the form of higher taxation and limited nationalisation that in the end is in service of protecting it in the long run from an insurgent left threat that justified the fascist takeover. Ergo the dependant variable between the economic intervention of a corporatist and (on a spectrum of) socialist is capital as a independent institution with protected right to property and profit alongside rather than under the party structure. If the capital class do not have a seat at the table to begin with, then it fails in purpose and thus description as a corporatist system.

Given that I would agree with your identification of a conscious choice by the dprk to so emphasize a leader figure in its political theatre as an abnormality. But i would argue it is in the mould of the castro's in cuba or until recently the ghandi's in India where a relatively new nation has a political dynasty tied up in its national myth that gives it overblown political capital but without the regalia and exceptionalism of a monarchy. with these states i would argue nowhere near enough power is held to dominate bureaucracy and party in a totalising manner. Rather a synthesis of the parliamentary system with the party state with a ceremonial, popular head of state over an executive politburo.

In the case of North Korea a nascent republic is flattened in the first years of its existence, reconstructs out of the dirt in a few decades only for the economic sphere its a satellite state of to collapse. now under siege conditions it entrenches an already prominent leader cult to help weather the storm for better and worse. In a sentence i would consider the leader centrism of Juche to be an ugly reaction consequence of ugly material conditions than a purposeful cause to undermine its socialist character.

>>1997856

This is an important point: The reason why corporation is self-defeating is precisely because it maintains capitalist relations of production.

You can't have the economy organized as body if its parts are in a general competition with each other.

Part of what makes corporatism historically an idealist philosophy precisely that it believes through sheer the will/ideology of the state and its leadership the economic antagonisms can be settled.

This also explains why there is a chunk of fascists/integralists/etc. that have penis envy gor actually existing socialist state: They in practice were much closer to achieving the corporatist ideal (society as a harmonious body), though precisely by negating (to a degree) class antagonisms (both inter and intra, the latter being those that are a constituent factor in the capitalist relations of production)

The poster is obviously a fascist troll (in a classical Italian sense), and like I said here >>1997892, like many fascists has penis envy towards an AES states and projects his wants onto it.

This obsession with a strong central leader is the inverse of the liberal's; Instead of seeing it as bad totalitarian boogeyman, its the good strongman that keeps society in order regardless of mode of production.

This is precisely why you shouldn't argue with him about "This is actually modern monarchy". Instead, question why its important at all. Get dontcareatallpilled just like with idpol.

(And actually, there is a very interesting philosophical/scientific point that what really distinguishes different ideologies and politics is not what positions they take on a given issue but rather what issues they consider fundamental (as opposed to auxiliary) and what conceptual framework they operate within to begin with (which in part determines which issues can or cannot even be formulated at all)

Los of the DPRK military spends time doing construction work.
I think this is important.
Like how someone gonna build a decent and strong trench or pill box if they never mixed cement before? How they gonna shoot straight if they didn't get their position properly level? How they gonna dig tunnels or remove rubble if they get blisters after using a shovel for 30 minutes, if they've never worked stone in their lifes? How long's it all gonna take if they never even operated a wheelbarrow before? How are they even going to work with each other and communicate things efficiently? All the little things you learn and what you acclimate your body to in a job you're always learning new things from…

I genuinely don't understand why people can't accept the reasons for Kim Il Sung's descendants having important roles is tied to their hardworking ability and political capability. You don't question it when political families exist in the US, Japan, etc, but when a politically beloved father educates his son to be politically conscious in the DPRK its all crazy and totalitarian. Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un have probably been tested and shined in far more rigorous ways than the presidents of the USA, and yet you act like its just nepotism, as though several other descendants of Kim Il Sung haven't been ignored in DPRK politics.

>>2001185
>You don't question it when political families exist in the US, Japan, etc
I actually do. I expect more from a socialist state that I respect though.
The thing though is that since DPRK's beginning there have been only members from the Kim family. I find it extremely hard to believe that there aren't any other political leaders that could form.

In Spanish "leftist" politics there is a term that I don't really have a translation for ("escuela de cuadros"), but let's say it's something like "political forming school". It's a concept where the party has a school that forms the best of the natural leaders inside the party and tries to make them shine as much as possible, so that there are always new leaders. I see this problem everywhere I look, specially in latin-american politics.

Anyways, my point is: I seriously doubt there aren't any natural leaders in the DPRK. Artificially holding them off by only educating members of the Kim family is suicidal in the long term.

Also I'm sorry for my English I'm kinda retarded, it's hard to make myself clear in this shitty language

>>2001185
>when political families exist in the US, Japan, etc
you say families *plural
that's exactly the point, you have the Clintons, the Bushes, the Trumps in USA, etc. It's not predominately one family over others, but multi-families, and they take their turns.

>is tied to their hardworking ability and political capability

Kim Yo-jong's speech as deputy director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea [October 28, 2024]
An unidentified drone appeared in the skies over Seoul and leaflets criticizing the puppet government were scattered.
There is no fact that our military, individual groups, or any individuals flew a drone, and it cannot be confirmed and is not worth responding to.
This is a hypothetical situation.
I just want to see once how the dirty packs of Seoul's wild dogs would bark and foam at the mouth in this situation.
The world will also be curious.

[picrel] Spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Announces Final Investigation Results of the Serious Sovereignty Violation Provocation Incident by a South Korean Drone
The spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea announced the final results of the investigation into the sovereignty-violating provocation incident that confirmed the takeoff point, intrusion route, and intrusion purpose of the South Korean drone discovered in our metropolitan area on October 27.
According to the spokesperson, in accordance with the instructions of the government of our republic to thoroughly and scientifically investigate the truth behind the serious sovereignty infringement incident by unmanned aerial vehicles, a military means recognized by the world, the joint investigation group including the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of State Security, completely disassembled the flight control module from the wreckage of the crashed enemy drone and comprehensively analyzed its flight plan and flight history data.
The analysis results of the drone's flight control program conducted by the Joint Investigation Group have proven beyond any excuse the most vicious and shameless provocative identity of the South Korean military thugs who have persistently avoided responsibility for the incident of illegally intruding a drone into the skies over our capital.
The collected evidence includes 238 flight plans and flight logs created between June 5, 2023 and October 8, 2024, and of these, except for the data from October 8, all of the remaining data are data on flights within Korean territory.
Analysis of the flight control program shows that when creating a flight plan, a political propaganda waste spraying plan is also created, and when the location reflected in the spraying plan is reached, the flight control module sends an electrical signal to the spraying device.

We analyzed the flight data number of the enemy drone that invaded our country on October 8 and crashed.
The plan to spread political propaganda waste and the history of the spreading were accurately recorded in the enemy's drone.
It was revealed that the drone of the South Korean military thugs, which took off from Baengnyeong Island at 23:25:30 on October 8 and invaded the territorial airspace of our republic, flew over the seas around Jangyon County and Chodo in South Hwanghae Province and the sea around Namjoap Island before changing course and invading the airspace over our capital city via the Chollima District in Nampho City.
On October 9, at 1:32:08 AM, the enemy drones sprayed political propaganda materials over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Seungri Station subway station, and at 1:35:11 AM, over the Ministry of National Defense.
Confirmed objective and scientific evidence exposes that the purpose of the collected drone’s intrusion was to spread anti-republican political agitation and waste, and that the perpetrators of the hostile sovereignty infringement provocation were clearly the puppet South Korean military thugs.
The Ministry of National Defense spokesperson repeatedly emphasized that the final warning has already been given regarding the dangerous and reckless political and military provocations of the South Korean military thugs who have crossed the line of tolerance.
In the event that the most vicious and malicious rogue state, the Republic of Korea, is subject to repeated acts of violating the sovereignty of our Republic due to blind faith in their superiors and extreme defiant evil habits, the source of all anger and the origin of provocation will disappear forever through our harsh offensive actions.

The importance of scientific farming, which has been repeatedly emphasized
On September 8, 2021, a grand celebratory banquet was held in the garden of the headquarters building of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea for labor innovators and meritorious persons who participated in the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic with Comrade Kim Jong Un.
On this meaningful day, the first people who had the honor of meeting the respected General Secretary up close were none other than the agricultural workers and laborers.
The respected Comrade General Secretary , who was looking at them with affectionate eyes, repeatedly emphasized the importance of scientific farming while specifying the tasks and methods for farming well.
The respected Comrade General Secretary said that we should vigorously promote scientific farming fever and realize scientific, informatized and intensive agricultural production. He also said that although the weather conditions in our country have been unfavorable recently, the grain yield per hectare has increased compared to the past, and that the reason for this is scientific farming.
The respected Comrade General Secretary , who had been absent for a while, stressed that the work of disseminating advanced agricultural science and technology and new farming methods to agricultural workers and laborers through the national computer network should be carried out normally.

Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory adds the scent of the Milky Way to the whole country
The Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory, which has been transformed under the love of the great Father who spares nothing for the people and gives them all the happiness in this world, is a typical unit and standard for cosmetics factories in our country.
In February 2015, Comrade Kim Jong Un, while providing on-site guidance to the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory, gave detailed guidance on the renovation plan as well as the mark and trademark design so that the factory could be completely renovated into a modern factory worthy of being proud of to the world. He also established strong construction forces, scientific and technological forces, and material security measures.
Comrade General Secretary , who visited the newly renovated Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory in October 2017, presented tasks facing the factory, including the issue of producing more types of cosmetics that can compete with world-famous cosmetics.
With the determination to carry out the on-site guidance tasks of the respected General Secretary , the factory workers and employees devoted all their wisdom and passion to the struggle to make “Eunhasu” cosmetics into famous products and famous goods that can compete with the world, and achieved the result of developing and producing 530 kinds of cosmetics in 160 categories over the past seven years.

Hair cosmetics produced in factories, such as hair dyeing shampoos that have both hair dyeing and washing effects and shampoos that have a high anti-dandruff effect while also providing a refreshing and cool feeling, are receiving favorable reviews from the public.
We are also developing and producing skin protection cosmetics and anti-aging cosmetics that suit the constitution and tastes of our people, and have greatly increased the number and types of perfumes, including tea perfume, body perfume, and room perfume.
Products produced at the factory received excellent evaluations at various exhibitions including the National Cosmetics Exhibition and were registered as products on February 2, and around 30 products also received quality certification from the Eurasian Economic Union.
The factory workers and employees are working harder to develop and produce more famous products and merchandise.

<North Korea has conducted a high-profile test of a new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), the solid-fueled Hwasong-19, in a significant show of military strength amidst global tensions. The missile, which North Korean state media reports as the highest-flying missile the country has launched, traveled approximately 1,000 kilometers in 85 minutes, reaching an altitude of 7,687.5 kilometers before landing in the sea between Japan and Russia. South Korean and Japanese forces closely monitored its trajectory.

<North Korea emphasized the missile’s vertical path, aiming for maximum altitude rather than range. Analysts suggest that if launched on a standard trajectory, the missile could potentially reach targets thousands of kilometers away, including most of the continental United States. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, who observed the launch, highlighted the nation’s progress in nuclear delivery systems, stressing its strategic defense capability.

<The test drew swift condemnation from the United States, its allies in South Korea, Japan, and Europe, as well as from the UN Secretary-General, especially given its timing just days before the U.S. presidential election. Concurrently, North Korean forces have reportedly been observed near Ukraine’s front lines, raising concerns that Russia might share sensitive military technology with Pyongyang in return for its support.

<The Hwasong-19 missile, along with the previously launched Hwasong-18, uses solid fuel, which offers strategic advantages over liquid-fueled missiles, such as reduced preparation time and easier concealment, making detection harder.

==A major test that demonstrated the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's thorough will to respond and the absolute superiority of its strategic attack power
Under the guidance of Comrade Kim Jong- un , the Democratic People's Republic of Korea successfully conducted a test launch of the latest intercontinental ballistic missile, Hwasongpo-19==
As a responsible nuclear state, our cause of reliably safeguarding peace and security in the region and the world and achieving comprehensive national revival and improved people's welfare is accompanied by vicious challenges and abominable war crises from the most hostile and threatening enemy countries.

The most hostile enemies of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea have evolved into a nuclear alliance, and the recent mad military buildup and provocation attempts by the US imperialists and their South Korean puppet regime, which are at an all-time high and the highest in history, and the threatening remarks they utter from time to time targeting the government of the Republic are seriously endangering the sovereignty and security environment of our state and provoking the unbearable anger and will to retaliate of our army and people.
Today's harsh reality, which seriously reminds us of the instructive law of history that the destruction of the balance of power between us and the enemy means war, more clearly confirms the necessity of absolute power to always suppress the enemy and manage the situation and the legitimacy of its constant improvement, and calls for the continuous renewal and creation of strategic weapons as a deterrent capable of actively dealing with any military threat and suppressing and crushing in advance the enemy's attempts at provocation and will to fight.

At a time when the urgency of the strategic choice and its powerful implementation to reliably protect the security of the country and the peace of the region from the aggressive and adventurous military maneuvers of the United States and its followers is increasingly being highlighted, a new entity has emerged again, flaunting the absolute strength of the republic's nuclear combat force that is rapidly advancing day by day.
Comrade Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers ' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, issued an order to the Missile General Bureau to conduct a test-fire of the latest type of intercontinental ballistic missile Hwasongpo-19 and personally guided the crucial test setting up an epochal milestone in perpetuating the absolute superiority of the strategic forces of the Republic on the spot on the morning of October 31.

For the great dignity and honor of the fatherland and people , for the duty to protect peace and the right to survival that must not be compromised even an inch, for a just new world where war, hegemony and injustice will not be tolerated, the super-strong absolute weapon created by the power and spirit of Joseon that has been constantly increasing has advanced into the dawning horizon, giving rise to a new power that the world has never experienced.
Comrade Kim Jong Un , who has the most noble and weighty mission of thoroughly safeguarding the sovereignty, absolute security and right to development of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, personally went to the launch site to learn about the strategic weapon test-launch preparations and plan and took over the central command and observation post.

The launch site, which is about to reveal its historical appearance as the new super-powerful means of attack, the final version of the intercontinental ballistic missile, renewed by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, was boiling like lava with the will of all the defense scientists and strategic missile soldiers to make the most vicious enemies who are confused over the anti-Republic nuclear confrontation ambition tremble as a demonstration of our state's war deterrence which has reached the world's strongest.

The moment has come to demonstrate the incredible power of the world's most powerful strategic missile.

Ready to launch!

As Comrade Kim Jong- un approved the test launch of the latest strategic weapon, General Jang Chang-ha, director of the Missile General Bureau, issued a launch order to the 2nd Red Banner Squadron.

In that moment, with a thunderous roar that shook heaven and earth, the absolute power that had embraced the rising spirit of destruction and hostility of the Korean people who would rule over all evil and injustice on Earth appeared in a threatening manner, pressing down on the ground with fierce flames.

The launched missile rose to a maximum altitude of 7,687.5 km, flew a distance of 1,001.2 km for 5,156 seconds, and landed in the target area in the East Sea of Korea.

The test launch had no negative impact on the safety of neighboring countries.

This latest strategic weapon system test broke the record for strategic missile capabilities and fully demonstrated the modernity and reliability of the strategic deterrence power of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, the world's most powerful.
At the launch site, Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed great satisfaction, saying that by achieving a definite success in the test launch of the new type of ICBM, we have demonstrated to the world that the hegemonic position we have secured in the development and production of similar nuclear delivery means is absolutely irreversible.
According to the prospective plan for building the state nuclear force presented by the Party Congress, the final version of the intercontinental ballistic missile system “Hwasongpo-19” to be operated by the strategic forces of the Republic together with the “Hwasongpo-18” will carry out its mission and duty as the first core main force in defending the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, thoroughly suppressing acts of aggression and reliably safeguarding the security of the country.

Comrade Kim Jong Un said that this launch is an appropriate military activity that thoroughly conforms to the intention of our country to respond to the enemies who have recently intentionally aggravated the regional situation and threatened the security of the Republic, and that it is an essential process in the course of continuously upgrading the strategic offensive force of our country.
He stressed that the dangerous nuclear alliance-strengthening maneuvers and various adventurous military activities of our enemies that we are witnessing recently have further highlighted the importance of strengthening our nuclear force, and that we must never allow any threat to approach the country's sphere of influence for its security.

Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the security situation of our country and the abominable prospective threats and challenges require us to continue to strengthen the modern strategic offensive forces and further perfect the nuclear response system, and he once again clearly affirmed that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea will never change the line of strengthening nuclear forces under any circumstances.
Comrade Kim Jong Un , on behalf of the Party, the government and the entire Korean people, expressed his highest gratitude to the defense scientists and the military industry workers who made outstanding contributions to fully demonstrating the Republic's invincible strategic nuclear attack capability to the world.

Comrade Kim Jong Un emphasized once again that only peace maintained by a powerful force capable of controlling and deterring the enemy is a reliable, safe and solid peace and that this is a sure guarantee for the well-being and future of our state and people, and he clarified the key tasks that the defense science sector should permanently hold onto in carrying out the line of strengthening the state nuclear force for this purpose.
Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed his expectation and conviction that our national defense science and technology corps, which are always loyal and absolute in carrying out the demands of the revolution, will always remain true to their sacred responsibility and duty by achieving more excellent achievements in national defense development, and took a meaningful commemorative photo with the protagonists of this great event at the historical point that once again raised the absolute prestige of our state.
The entire defense science corps and strategic missile soldiers pledged a fiery determination to make a more invincible and powerful arsenal of the Juche revolution and to devote themselves to the sacred struggle to strengthen the country's nuclear response system.

Am I seeing things but does everything besides the passport have some sort of weird blurry texture? Even the hand is blurry.

White Papers are way more fun in best korea, damn.
The grave violation of sovereignty against our country is the product of the desperate and wicked schemes of the Yoon Seok-yeol faction to escape the worst crisis of governance.
White Paper by the Research Institute of Daejeok
The spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea announced on October 27 the final investigation results of the serious sovereignty violation provocation incident by the South Korean drone, thereby revealing the conspiratorial identity of the special criminals to the world without any excuse.

This major provocative act of violating sovereignty is the product of the Yoon Seok-yeol faction’s last-ditch effort to avoid the worst crisis of power caused by the total bankruptcy of domestic and foreign policies and to salvage their sinful remains by provoking a shocking incident on the Korean Peninsula.

The puppet Yoon Seok-yeol, who is like a world-class madman, is now facing an unprecedented, total crisis before even halfway through his term.

This madman, who has hastened destruction with anti-communism, war, dictatorship, and evil politics that surpass those of all past Korean rulers, is becoming even more insane, unable to even sense the end of the world when his dirty lifeline is cut off.

The Daejeok Research Institute is publishing this white paper to expose the criminal nature and miserable fate of the rare puppet Yoon Seok-yeol, who is piling sin upon sin in an attempt to escape the abyss of destruction.

《<Yoon Jae-ang> Made South Korea a Nuclear Sacrifice》

Since ancient times, it has been said that the foundation of politics is to bring peace to the country and comfort to the people.

It is the destiny of the rulers of the Republic of Korea to learn how to live safely under the chin of a nuclear power that borders the most hostile belligerent nation.

There is only one secret to survival: to acknowledge the objective reality of the strong and weak and not to act rashly.

However, the world's most scoundrel, puppet Yoon Seok-yeol, is the worst president with incompetent security who uses confrontation against the republic as the optimal space for maintaining power.

The last two and a half years of the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol administration were a series of “deadly gambles” that turned the entire Korean territory into a sacrifice for nuclear war.

The fate of the Republic of Korea, which has become vulnerable to the wind today, was already foreshadowed when the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol campaigned on “peace through strength” and declared the belligerent “main enemy theory” as the national policy during his first term in office.

The puppet Yoon Seok-yeol, who is obsessed with hostility, has been spewing out remarks such as “massive retaliation and punishment,” “war,” “readiness to expand war,” “overwhelming war preparations,” and “end of the regime” at security events held every year on various occasions including “June 25th War Memorial Day” and “Armed Forces Day,” as well as at security-related meetings such as the Meeting of Major Commanders of the Armed Forces and the Central Integrated Defense Council, and they were extremely dangerous sparks sprinkled on a powder keg.

In the childish anti-republic farces such as the “March 1st Independence Movement Day Commemoration Ceremony” and the “Liberation Day Celebration Ceremony,” the outrageous remarks of this bastard who has openly revealed his ambition for “unification through absorption” by the “liberal democratic system” have even brought about criticism within their ranks, calling it an “unrealistic idea,” “the end of inter-Korean relations,” and “an invitation to reconquer the South instead of absorbing the North.”

Indifferent to this, the puppet Yoon is the one who has driven the situation into an unpredictable phase by viciously slandering the September 19 Military Agreement, the last safety device for guaranteeing peace on the Korean Peninsula, as a “one-sided agreement that is only advantageous to the North,” and even destroying it with his own hands.

The large-scale joint military exercises that resumed under the slogan of “normalization of the abnormal” have rapidly heightened military tensions, repeatedly using modifiers such as “largest,” “longest,” and “first” in history.

The number of joint military exercises between South Korea and the United States, which has increased rapidly from 24 in 2022 to 123 in 2023 and to approximately 130 from January 2024 to the present, clearly demonstrates how much of a war-monger the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol is.

What is even more dangerous is that this bellicose madness is reaching towards the outbreak of nuclear war.

Last April, the Yoon Seok-yeol puppet government manipulated the Washington Declaration, a declaration of nuclear war with the United States, renewed the ROK-US alliance into a nuclear-based alliance, and began to madly rush toward the octopus of nuclear war by implementing the ROK-US Nuclear Consultation Group and the Korean Peninsula Nuclear Operation Guidelines in earnest.

The deployment of US nuclear strategic assets to the Korean Peninsula some 30 times during the term of the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol administration, the nuclear operational exercise “Iron Mace 24” conducted for the first time in late July this year, and the joint military exercise “Ulchi Freedom Shield” which was a demonstration of anti-republic nuclear war in August this year are representative cases that clearly prove that the crisis of nuclear conflict in the Korean Peninsula is imminent as a realistic question of timing rather than possibility.

The puppet Yoon Seok-yeol is not content with clinging to the establishment of a trilateral military alliance between the US, Japan, and South Korea, and is eager to form a military alliance with NATO, located far away on the continent, thereby turning the puppet South Korea into a bridgehead for a 21st century “crusade.”

The expansion of nuclear war aimed at our Republic and neighboring countries by taking advantage of the US's strategy for world hegemony and the reckless advancement of multinational military forces into forward bases have turned the puppet Korean landmass into a double or triple target for the surrounding nuclear powers.

As if this were not enough, the extremely vicious and outrageous acts of confrontation committed by the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol group, such as spreading anti-republic political agitation garbage and resuming loudspeaker broadcasts under the pretext of “freedom of expression,” have brought the minute hand of the puppet South Korea’s security clock closer to war.

The military aggression of the Yoon Seok-yeol faction, which is becoming more and more ruthless by the day, has only brought about the paradoxical result of pushing our country toward exponential stockpiling of nuclear weapons and advancement of nuclear attack capabilities.

Yoon Seok-yeol, the puppet, was given the title of “special contributor” for voluntarily contributing to the strengthening of our nuclear arsenal, and “special contributor” for becoming a nuclear target himself.

A confrontation with a nuclear state would clearly be self-destructive.

The belligerent behavior of the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol, which is being carried out at the gates of a nuclear power, has brought about the worst security crisis that has put the puppet South Korea on the most dire nuclear chopping block.

《<Yoon Jae-ang> made South Korea a nuclear sacrifice.》

《If this continues, there will be war! I can't live with anxiety!》

《War instigator, war tyrant Yoon Seok-yeol's resignation is peace!》

This is the boiling hatred and unstoppable condemnation of the puppet factions that are furious at the extremely evil confrontational maniac and unprecedented warmongering puppet Yoon Seok-yeol.

《<Yoon Eung-mang> brought about a hellish era of national despair》

The rule of the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol is a “self-destructive rule” rarely seen in the world.

The fact that Seok-du, who had barely passed the civil service examination nine times, was given the presidency was the starting point of a great disaster.

Now, within the puppet regime, there is an open rumor going around that the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol is doing politics worse than a dog, and that “even if a dog rules, it would be better than this.”

In response, animal lovers in Korea are protesting, saying that comparing Yoon Seok-yeol to a dog is not an insult to the president, but rather an insult to the dog.

Even dogs in the countryside recognize their owners, but those who are involved in politics but don't know the people are worse than dogs.

The criticism that it would be better for a dog to sit on the throne of Yongsan is not excessive, as proven by Yoon Seok-yeol's record during his two and a half years in office.

As expected from a former prosecutor who is skilled at wielding a knife, the first thing Yoon Seok-yeol created as soon as he took office was the horrifying “Republic of Prosecutors.”

Yoon Seok-yeol, the puppet government that installed some 180 thugs from the prosecution service into key positions in some 30 power organizations including the puppet presidential office, has been shackling anti-government struggles and waging a full-scale crackdown on political opponents under the pretext of “establishing fairness.”

In a dictatorship, there is no such thing as humanity or loyalty.

The retaliatory investigation into the former president, his family, and his close associates who once helped him climb the ladder of success has been carried out in an all-out, intense manner, including investigations into bank accounts and search and seizure of houses and villas, shocking public opinion and provoking strong opposition from the opposition party.

Since even party leaders, members of the National Assembly, former presidents, and media outlets cannot escape the indiscriminate blade of the dictatorship, what more room can there be for the powerless and penniless workers, farmers, and other common people?

Self-righteousness, lack of communication, arrogance, and tyranny are other stigmas of Yoon Seok-yeol's rule.

After taking office, he refused to cooperate with the majority opposition party and exercised his veto on no less than 20 bills. In September of this year, he became the first president to not attend the opening ceremony of the National Assembly. This led to criticism from conservative media and the ruling party that his behavior was “excessive” and that he “rejected, rejected, and rejected again.”

How disgusting must it have been to see the self-centered behavior of the ruling party, not to mention the opposition party, fighting and ignoring each other at every opportunity, that even the leader of the once-tainted ruling party gradually distanced himself from it and even rose up in rebellion?

The true nature of Yoon Seok-yeol's "self-destructive rule" is being revealed even more clearly in the mess of the economy and people's livelihood.

The splendid promise of the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol to create a “dynamic economy led by the private sector and supported by the government” has turned into a miserable reality today.

The debt of major corporations that hold the lifeblood of the puppet Korean economy is at an all-time high, and the corporate debt ratio is 173.6%, far exceeding corporate assets.

The puppet government's tax revenue has been decreasing for two consecutive years, and its fiscal deficit has snowballed, reaching about 80% of last year's level in May of this year.

The livelihood conditions of the puppet Republic of Korea are even more grim.

Following last year, when one million self-employed business owners went out of business due to the incompetence of economic ignorants who do not even know the price of green onions in the market, and prices skyrocketing without any awareness, large-scale business failures are continuing this year.

Yoon Seok-yeol's incompetent rule was intensively expressed in the medical reform game that was forced through while trampling on the lives of all citizens.

In the current puppet Republic of Korea, the medical reform related to increasing the number of students admitted to medical schools has been met with strong opposition from the medical field from the very beginning, and has not made any progress for over a year. In the midst of this, the mass resignation of doctors has led to the collapse of the medical system, creating chaos.

Even if you want to treat a finger wound, you have to wander around for hours to find a hospital, and a pregnant woman has to visit the doors of 70 clinics and hospitals to receive treatment. This is the medical disaster caused by the Yoon Seok-yeol puppet group.

This is not the end of the “governmental achievements” of a ruler worse than a dog.

The common people's one ray of hope for the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol, who boasts of his swordsmanship and says he has fought "crime" his entire life, was that he would suppress even just one crime rampant in the rotten and sick land of Korea.

However, the number of violent crimes in 2022 was 234,797, an increase of 19,200 cases compared to the previous year, and the fact that the number of gangsters in 2023 was the highest in the past 10 years was selected as one of the “Top 10 News Stories in Korea in 2023.”

The dismal livelihood hardships caused by evil politics have driven the common people to mental decline and extreme choices.

The reality of the puppet Republic of Korea, which advocates “freedom” and “equality,” is that the suicide rate is the highest in the world every year, and the tragedy of over 13,000 people taking their own lives each year, equivalent to one division, is becoming more and more common.

This is the true spectacle of an “era of national misery” and an “era of national despair” that no one has ever experienced before, brought about by the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol.

What is surprising is that the person behind the scenes who brought about this tragedy of “the downfall of Korea” was not the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol, but his wife Kim Kun-hee.

If Choi Soon-sil was manipulating Park Geun-hye from behind the scenes yesterday, Kim Kun-hee is now acting as president, ruling over Yoon Seok-yeol, interfering in state affairs, and amassing illicit wealth.

As the story of Kim Kun-hee's corruption and abuse of power continues to be revealed, causing a huge social uproar, pushing the already precarious Yoon Seok-yeol administration to the brink.

Now, within the puppet class, voices of criticism and curses are endless, such as “If the Choi Soon-sil incident was an atomic bomb explosion, the Kim Kun-hee incident is a hydrogen bomb explosion,” and “Kim Kun-hee is ruining history as much as Cleopatra, Empress Dowager Cixi, and Imelda Marcos combined.”

Many newspapers, news agencies, and broadcasting stations around the world, including Reuters in the UK, The Guardian, and the Wall Street Journal in the US, are running headlines criticizing the situation, such as “South Korea’s First Lady Compared to Marie Antoinette,” “Reality, Not a Movie,” and “Kim Kun-hee’s Successive Suspicions: Bribery and Stock Price Manipulation.”

《Is this a country?》

"Even if dogs rule, it would be better than this."

《<Yoon Eung-mang> brought about a hellish era of national despair.》

This voice of condemnation that shakes the land of the puppet Republic of Korea is an indictment of the public sentiment crying out against the puppet Yoon Seok-yeol, who has turned the Republic of Korea into a “ruined nation” with his innate ignorance and incompetence and stinking corruption that astonishes the world, and a death sentence from heaven that touches it terrifyingly.

《The shipwrecked ship <Yoon Seok-yeol> is sinking》

The ship “Yoon Seok-yeol,” which set sail two years and six months ago with the triumphant tones of “fairness and common sense” and “freedom and peace,” has become a shipwreck on the verge of sinking without even reaching halfway to its five-year term.

With a meager approval rating of less than 30% of the entire puppet region's residents, and even that being built through the scheming of public opinion manipulation, and with prosecutorial thugs at the helm for the first time in the history of the puppet regime, there have already been growing concerns and fears among the public about whether this puppet ship can sail smoothly.

“Korea is in a state of chaos.”, “A warmonger has seized power, so there will be war.”, “A sword-wielding prosecutor will wreak havoc on the economy.”, “It is clear that Yoon Seok-yeol, who is swayed by a fortuneteller, will turn Korea into hell.”…

Everyone's prediction was not wrong.

Now, the ship Yoon Seok-yeol has lost all of the spirit it had when it set sail, and is caught in rough waves, urgently sounding a distress signal.

The 200 or so crimes of corruption committed by the pro-American and pro-Japanese traitors and the Yoon Seok-yeol family, and the corruption of power amassed by the presidential office and the “Yoon hackers,” are overflowing into the wrecked ship and accelerating its sinking.

Here, the huge reefs of social inequality and polarization caused by their ignorance and incompetence are blocking everything, and the terrifying wave of public anger at the current puppet government that is forcing people to live a life worse than that of a pet dog in Yongsan with “economic collapse,” “livelihood collapse,” “large-scale disaster,” and “medical crisis” is terrifyingly crashing down on “Yoon Seok-yeol,” who is full of the greatest sins of all time.

Currently, Yoon Seok-yeol's approval rating is at 19%, which is a worse figure than that of Park Geun-hye, who was impeached and sent to prison.

The approval ratings of conservative forces that supported him in the last presidential election, as well as those in their 60s who were his core supporters, are plummeting, shaking the foundation of the Yoon Seok-yeol administration.

It is said that the danger of a shipwreck is first warned by a pack of quick-witted rats.

The fact that the ruling party and government officials who have been the president's right-hand men are turning their backs on Yongsan and even going so far as to engage in a head-on collision is the clearest evidence of how rapidly the "Yoon Seok-yeol" ship is sinking.

Now, in all regions of the puppet state, the struggle to oust Yoon Seok-yeol is spreading like wildfire, determined to end the two and a half years of misfortune, pain, humiliation, and contempt suffered by casting a wrong vote for puppet Yoon Seok-yeol.

In Seoul, Busan, Ulsan, and elsewhere, cries of anger and condemnation are exploding: “I can’t stand it anymore. Let’s kick him out!”, “Arrest Yoon Seok-yeol!”, “Yoon Seok-yeol, the unfilial regime, step down!”, “Impeach Yoon Seok-yeol, who threatens the people and destroys their livelihood!”, “Eliminate pro-Japanese traitor Yoon Seok-yeol!”, “Impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol means peace!”

The baptism of curses and accusations from all walks of life will be enough to turn the sinful Yongsan Cave into a giant stone tomb.

In just one month since the petition movement to impeach Yoon Seok-yeol began, with over 1,435,000 petitioners recorded, people everywhere rose up to vote for impeachment, and the “National Candlelight March for Special Prosecutor Kim Kun-hee! Yoon Seok-yeol’s Resignation!”, “University Students’ National Humiliation Group for Urging Yoon Seok-yeol’s Impeachment” were formed, “Rally for the Day to Eradicate the War Crisis”, an impeachment declaration was issued, and “Putting up Posters for the Impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol” took place on a large scale, turning the puppet Republic of Korea into a huge battleground for the anti-Yoon Seok-yeol struggle.

If Park Geun-hye had been impeached after just four years in power, Yoon would have been kicked out of power in less than two and a half years and would have faced the miserable fate of becoming a prison ghost.

The puppet Yoon, who is now facing the worst crisis of his rule, is foolishly trying to find a way out of his miserable state through reckless criminal provocations against our country.

Whenever they face a crisis of control, the puppet regimes have used all sorts of schemes and fabrications to bet on us and use the security commotion as an escape route. This is a common tactic.

Fire can be put out with fire, but crisis cannot be covered with crisis.

The more we amplify the crisis of the current situation and struggle to escape the swamp of destruction, the deeper we will sink under the weight of the eternal sins we have committed.

The angry cries of the people are causing the entire puppet Korean land to shake with the punishment of driving nails into the coffin of the mountain corpse, Yoon Seok-yeol.

Even now, a flock of crows, a famous symbol for heralding the coming of the dead, are circling the skies over Yongsan, signaling an omen of misfortune.

Cackle, cackle…

From last year:
Dear Comrade Kim Jong Un delivered a programmatic speech “On the Duties of Mothers Before Family and Society” at the 5th National Mothers’ Conference
Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, delivered a programmatic speech titled "On Mothers' Duties Before Family and Society" at the 5th National Mothers' Conference on December 4 .

Dear mothers!

On behalf of the Central Committee of the Party and the Government of the Republic, I once again warmly congratulate the participants in the 5th National Mothers' Conference and the mothers who received the Communist Mothers' Honor Award at the conference.

At this proud juncture of 2023, which is ending with valuable victories and dramatic achievements, I am very pleased that the Mothers' Convention is being held in a grand manner and that the entire country can collectively count the countless efforts that mothers have made over the years and express their gratitude in one voice.

In the countless glorious histories carved on this land by our country, which is advancing and creating victories in the midst of severe hardships today, there are soldiers holding guns, scientists with outstanding brains, workers who faithfully shed their sweat, and hard-working farmers.

But on the highest platform of all that glory and honor always stand our Korean women, the best in the world, all the mothers of this country.

Our mothers, who are ordinary and humble, yet the most strong and courageous in the face of adversity, have always been true examples of dedicating their entire lives to the path of patriotism without hesitation, and have become the roots for nurturing numerous heroes from every corner of this country, so that our country can have the shining days it does today.

The period from the 4th National Mothers' Conference to this conference coincides with the most difficult and severe decade in the history of our Party and our country.

In those days and months, which were never easy to accept and send off, the images of righteous and upright mothers who took pleasure in hardship and overcame difficulties to always be upright before their country and their children are clearly engraved.

Because there are mothers who believe that everything our party wants to do is right from start to finish and silently endure all kinds of difficulties and hardships, we have been able to resolve and undertake great undertakings, like the founding of a nation, and all the things we have started have been able to bear shining fruit thanks to the dedicated efforts of mothers who have been great helpers and faithful foundations for their husbands and children.

If it had not been for our mothers who supported the Party's policies without a moment's hesitation, endured harsh trials that women in other countries would not have been able to endure for even a few days for decades, steadfastly upheld the guns of faith held up by their sons and daughters, and fiercely fanned the flames of the patriotic movement throughout the country, we would not have been able to advance so steadily and resolutely on the path to strengthening national power.

When I come across the young builders who are creating new construction miracles at the new street construction site in Seopo District, which is revealing its magnificent appearance day by day, and the countless young people who are petitioning in difficult and tough fields and dedicating their boiling blood and sweat, my heart warms as I think of our mothers who supported and willingly pushed for the excellent choices of their children.

Mothers deserve to be praised by the times just for the hard work and achievements they have put in to bear and raise many children, take care of their husbands and in-laws, and take on all the dirty and dry tasks in difficult times when everything was scarce.

However, despite all the worries and workload, our mothers are proudly guarding a corner of the revolution and a part of socialist construction, no less than men, and they are cultivating the freshness and beauty of our society with thoughtful and loving hands.

Our mothers were present not only in the agricultural and light industry fronts that our Party has put forward as major fronts, but also in scientific research bases that are pioneering unknown paths and in construction sites that are bustling with activity. Their names also shone in the ranks of patriotic meritorious persons who stirred up the times, and the strong breath of our country that is overcoming the cold winds of trials and opening up the future with virtue and good customs overflowed with the love and affection of mothers.

The mothers' jewel-like patriotism and the noble sweat they have shed ceaselessly shine in the bright smiles and happy tears of the socialist families who share hardships and difficulties together, and are alive and breathing in the absolute power and proud creations of the Republic.

Everything that we have today and are proud of, everything that symbolizes the high authority and strength of the Republic, will forever be remembered in history, along with the history woven with noble hearts by the mothers of Joseon and the achievements they have accumulated through wise and diligent efforts.

As has always been the case, I would like to once again express my heartfelt gratitude to all the mothers across the country who have been a great source of strength for our Party during the harsh years of the revolution and who have devoted their pure, ardent patriotic loyalty and loyalty to the prosperity of the fatherland for generations to come.

Dear mothers!

The future of a country and a people is first determined by the ideological and spiritual character of their mothers, and is built from the hearts and hands of mothers.

Nearly a century has passed since our revolution was pioneered.

Now, the mothers who fought for the liberation of the fatherland, leaving their beloved children under the eaves of other people's houses, are no longer with us, and the generation that had only seen them on screen or in writing has become mothers, along with the mothers who dedicated their sons, daughters, and even daughters-in-law to the revolution, and the mothers who wrote the epic poems of the Chollima era, holding up the communist slogan, "One for all, all for one!"

However, the beautiful spiritual world unique to Joseon mothers continues to exist, and the history of their noble lives dedicated to the future continues.

This is something precious, like a lifeline or a bloodline, for the future of our party and country.

If mothers' hearts are strong, the foundation of the country will be firm, and if mothers' spiritual world is noble, the baton of revolution will be passed on firmly and the essence of our style of socialism will not change.

The reason we are holding this grand Mothers' Convention today is because the future of Joseon shines brightly in the proud history and traditions of mothers passed down from generation to generation.

In the hearts and appearances of our mothers, we read a noble outlook on life that their lives are for future generations and that the more blood and sweat they shed, the more a prosperous country will be built for their descendants to live well, and we are once again tracing the traces of their beautiful lives.

Everyone has a mother who gave birth to them and raised them, and they have fond memories and unforgettable images of growing up in their mother's warm and loving embrace.

Among them, what his children will never forget is his life of devotion, always busy and never having time to dry his hands, but never having anything for himself, and his mother's tears as she was happiest when her children did something good for the country and whipped them when they did even the tiniest bit of a sin.

Mothers taught us through their own examples that the political life given by the party is more precious than the physical life they gave, and that a life given is more valuable than a life enjoyed. Our descendants grew up realizing the true meaning of life and patriotism through their mothers' teachings and examples before they learned it from books.

A great child is bound to grow up in the arms of a great mother.

Born in the arms of such mothers, our descendants grew up watching their footsteps and learning the true value of life, passing on the baton of patriotism and loyalty to the next generation, who then pass it on to their children and grandchildren. This is the lawful process by which the future of our country is built.

Our mothers are truly precious people who connect generations with the same patriotic blood, and they are the first builders of a beautiful future.

everyone!

The first revolutionary task is to properly prepare the new generation that will become the backbone of our society and support our powerful nation.

Just as the first step in life is important, among home education, school education, and social education, home education takes first place, and here too, the mother's influence is particularly important.

That is why the Party attaches more importance to the Children's Congress and the Mother's Congress than to other Congresses, and has put a lot of effort into preparing for this Mother's Congress by directly organizing it as part of the Party Central Committee's interest.

I hope that this conference will be a practical opportunity for all mothers to become more deeply aware of their responsibilities and duties toward their families and society and to carry them out well. I would also like to inform you of the important policies of the Party and the government and make some requests.

As you all know, the country's economic situation is difficult and the sabotage schemes of the bad guys are unprecedentedly vicious, but we have achieved countless transformations that are incomparable to those of 10 years ago, and we will continue to fight tenaciously by setting higher ideals and goals in the future so that in another 10 years, we will unfold an unimaginable leap forward in development.

As all of our people see, hear, and feel in reality, even if we only look at the major policies and measures that our Party and government are currently pursuing, they are grand projects aimed at creating better living conditions and a more civilized living environment.

The most essential needs in people's lives are food, clothing and shelter, and the struggle to realize our Party's new era rural revolution program is a historic feat that will completely and sustainably solve the people's food problem and food problem in the near future, while also transforming the rural areas, which have been synonymous with century-old backwardness, into modern ones.

To bring this forward, the Party and the government, despite the difficulties and shortages in everything, have been mobilizing even key sectors every year to send a large number of agricultural machines and farming materials to rural areas, and this year, they have launched large-scale projects to restore and complete irrigation facilities across the country that had been neglected for decades, thereby making great strides in laying the foundation for agricultural production.

The current projects being strongly promoted in our agricultural sector to shift to farming centered on rice, wheat, and barley, the projects to develop livestock and fruit farming, and the projects to build large-scale greenhouse farms are all aimed at fulfilling the wishes of mothers who always want to provide delicious and nutritious food for their children and families.

Comrade Kim Jong Un said that the same goes for the reclamation project, and that the Leader made it clear that the reclaimed land along the West Sea coast must be reclaimed unconditionally in order for all the people to eat white rice, and that our military has begun to work in earnest on the project of taking charge of the reclaimed land and constructing it in order to complete the reclamation project within 7 to 8 years.

Although it is a large-scale natural transformation project, if we complete it with a plan for the next generation, future generations will no longer know about the lack of farmland and the problem of food, and will enjoy the benefits for generations to come.

Even in the matter of raising children, which is the most important concern of mothers, we have not only done a lot of work but also have a firm vision.

Even now, I feel truly rewarded that our Party and government have put in a lot of effort to feed nutritious dairy products to the children of our country every day, fully provide Pine Tree school bags, uniforms and school supplies to students across the country, and transform children's palaces, camps and boys' halls.

However, we are not satisfied with this, and we are vigorously pushing forward with policies to bring about a great revolution in education, from kindergartens to universities, so that our new generation can grow up receiving the best education in the world's best and most advanced educational conditions and environment.

In order to solve the problem of what the people wear, we are putting enormous national effort into creating new chemical industries and building up chemical fiber production capacity, and we are actively encouraging development spaces such as advanced clothing product exhibitions to further develop the clothing of our mothers and the people of the entire country.

In recent years, more grandiose construction projects than ever before have been taking place across the country, and the most fundamental of all is to solve the people's housing problems at a high level.

In accordance with the decision of the 8th Congress of our Party, the construction of 50,000 housing units in the capital has been progressing without fail for three years now, with over 10,000 households of the capital city residents moving into the new streets every year, and since last year, modern rural housing units commensurate with the ideal society have been appearing in extraordinary forms in every corner of the country and being given to agricultural workers one after another.

In the future, we will carry out construction to transform the capital, city, and county seats to be in line with modern civilization, and we will bring about a new world where the entire country, from the capital to local areas and mountain villages, will be transformed.

And, we will first resolve the issues of water for living and firewood for the citizens of the capital city, public transportation, elevators, and heating security, and then, based on that experience, we will smoothly resolve the essential living issues, including the water for living issues, in local cities without any inconvenience.

Comrade Kim Jong Un said that among the major measures currently being planned by the Party and the government, the project of building general hospitals with modern and advanced medical service facilities in each provincial capital is included, and continued as follows:

In addition, many other important people-oriented policies are foreseen, and there is no doubt that if all of these are realized, truly fundamental changes will occur in the lives of our people.

All mothers should fulfill their responsibilities and duties toward society and their families with confidence and optimism about the future of our socialist construction and the changed ideal society that will soon arrive.

Our mothers have the heavy responsibility of raising their children as the driving force behind the construction of socialism and communism and as the protagonists of the future society.

A revolutionary's first steps also begin with his mother's milk, and his true growth can also be achieved under his mother's hands.

No one can replace the position and duties of a mother.

If only mothers fulfill their educational responsibilities, faster and more certain progress will be made in making not only the youth but all members of society into communist human beings.

First of all, mothers themselves must become communist mothers with noble and beautiful spiritual and moral character.

A mother cannot raise her sons and daughters to be communists and revolutionize her family unless she herself becomes a communist.

There is a saying that if you want to know a person, look at his mother, but there is a big difference in the outlook on life and the world between children who grow up under mothers who are devoted to society and the group and who cannot stand not helping those in pain and children who grow up seeing mothers who think only of their own children and do everything they can for their family.

Therefore, the virtue of supporting and helping others in their difficulties and crying with them in their sorrows, the humanity of knowing how to share with neighbors when something good happens, and rejoicing in others' success as if it were their own should become the character of all our mothers.

The harmony in the family that our mothers protect and nurture also plays a big role in the growth of children.

Mothers should always keep in mind that as housewives, managing the household frugally and promoting happiness and harmony in the household is also a great task for the country, and they should strive to become caring mothers, grateful wives, and considerate daughters-in-law.

A mother who truly wants her children to do well must consciously train them through revolutionary struggle and socialist construction.

The Fatherland Defense Posts and Socialist Construction Sites are revolutionary universities that provide invaluable life experiences that cannot be obtained in the yard of a single family, and foster a love for comrades and the collective, as well as the will and ability to overcome difficulties.

There is no greater joy for mothers than seeing their children grow into pillars of the nation while learning the value of their own party and their own system through struggle and life.

Mothers, who hold back tears and take the painful beating for the sake of their young children's proper growth, should willingly send their children to difficult and tough outposts and workplaces the more they love and cherish their children.

It is also important for mothers to always pay close attention to the spiritual and moral life of their children.

When they were young, they were polite, innocent, and clean, but as they grew up, they gradually lost their morals and began to drink bad alcohol. This is because as children grow up, their mothers' attention fades.

Mothers should educate their children on a daily basis so that they can study well, participate in organizations, and lead sound moral lives, not only when they are young, but also after they enter college and enter society.

Some mothers pay attention to their children's education, but neglect to teach them manners and etiquette, including language etiquette, or ignore their children's words and actions that are obviously not our style. Some mothers believe that they can be good mothers only if they dress their children in strange clothes and make them stand out from others.

Recently, the fight against socially unusual phenomena has been intensifying, and mothers must actively join in to completely eliminate such phenomena.

Mothers must actively participate in socialist construction and, as practical examples, exert a revolutionary influence on their sons and daughters.

The title of female worker, though simple, is a shining honor and a distinctive sign of a communist who firmly believes in the truth and victory of our cause and devotes himself to it.

Mothers should not only work within the confines of their own families, but should also actively participate in society, dedicating their patriotic sweat and creating innovations in factories and workplaces, thereby becoming honorable socialist workers before their children and leaving their mark on a worthwhile life in the love and trust of the collective.

And we must do our duty as citizens by actively seeking out good things that contribute to the prosperity of the country, including support for military projects and large-scale construction projects.

Comrade Kim Jong Un said that it is important for mothers to know well the severity of the present crisis we are experiencing, its causes and the secret of the great transformation taking place even in this environment, and he stressed that mothers themselves should have pride and self-esteem in the victory we are achieving today, be fully aware of the undeniable legitimacy and truthfulness of our Party’s policy and thoroughly reject all kinds of plots and all hypocrisy of the enemies.

Comrade Kim Jong Un said that when all mothers clearly recognize that giving birth to and raising many children is nothing other than patriotism and actively step forward, the cause of building a socialist power that we are aiming for will be advanced that much faster.

Comrade Kim Jong Un emphasized that party organizations and working people's organizations, including the Women's League, should actively guide and help mothers to fulfill their duties before their families and society.

If children depend on their mothers, then the mothers will depend on the organization.

If the warm hand of the organization is always available to our mothers, who work harder than anyone else in difficult lives, have many worries, and are exhausted at times, it will be a great help.

Our party hopes that not just a few specific mothers, but all mothers across the country will live brilliant lives in the same line toward communism.

Even if I have lived an ordinary, dishonest life up until now, if I can become an exemplary mother and innovator tomorrow through the organization's sincere efforts, there is nothing more joyful than that.

Party organizations and women's league organizations should properly organize and guide the mass movement in which mothers participate so that it becomes a conscious undertaking based on patriotic enthusiasm and civic duty.

Comrade Kim Jong Un, while clarifying the principled issues arising in increasing the ranks of communist mothers, stressed that Party organizations and women's league organizations should develop and genuinely help mothers to be aware of their own duties before their families and society, have many children, and raise them faithfully.

The Central Committee of the Party and the provincial, city, and county party committees should bear in mind that the Women's League work is an important part of our Party's work, and should always pay attention to the Women's League organizations so that they can fulfill their functions, give priority to resolving problems raised by the Women's League, and be thoroughly wary of imposing excessive burdens.

The party, government agencies, and economic institutions should ensure that families with multiple children receive national benefits, including priority in housing allocation, food and product supply, and medical services, and should apply special subsidies to help them make a living, and increase preferential measures in various ways.

Dear mothers!

Our Party's long-cherished desire is to bring a happy and civilized life to our people, who are the best people in the world and who have suffered and worked harder than anyone else, as soon as possible. This also contains the dream that our mothers have cherished for generations.

It is an extremely glorious and honorable mission to reverently shoulder the dreams and wishes of mothers who want to raise their children well on the beautiful foundation of socialism and communism and to do our best to realize them.

Our party will fight even harder to achieve as soon as possible everything that the world's strongest and most beautiful mothers and their most beloved sons and daughters desire.

Dear mothers!

I am extremely proud that the truest and greatest mothers in the world are none other than our mothers.

It is a great blessing and fortune for the sons and daughters of this country to be able to call such wonderful mothers their mothers.

I sincerely hope that all mothers in this country, including all the sons and daughters of this land, will be healthy and happy, and I hereby declare the 5th National Mothers' Conference closed. (End)

>Yoon made the announcement during a televised briefing, vowing to “eradicate pro-North Korean forces and protect the constitutional democratic order.” It wasn’t immediately clear how the steps would affect the country’s governance and democracy.

If you want a book with a genuinely neutral perspective on the DPRK I would highly recommend Black Girl from Pyongyang by Monica Macias. As daughter of Equatorial Guinea's president Francisco Macias Nguema, the personal friendship between him and Kim Il Sung meant that as shit was collapsing in Equatorial Guinea she and her siblings were sent to the DPRK to finish their educations. It's not all about North Korea but it's an interesting look into their society from an "outsider" perspective who nonetheless thought herself as Korean by the time she became an adult.

From what little credible data is available, and with a little bit of logical reasoning & honestly gut-based intuition, I have come to certain conclusions about the DPRK:

1. The "famine" aspect of the arduous march likely was marginal and was exaggerated on purpose, both in order to get whatever free aid they could but also to trick the us into thinking the dprk was on the brink of collapse so they needn't bother spending much in the way of resources on them.

2. Its very likely that the electricity aspect of energy use has recovered to or even exceeded its late 80s level, even if total energy use is likely still lower (basically because of permanently reduced oil use)

3. The DPRK is likely largely self sufficient when it comes to to spare parts both for industrial & military uses thanks to cnc machines. Its also likely largely self sufficient in basic electronic components (like resistors, capacitors, transformers, electric cable, etc.).

4. The main industrial weakness of the DPRk besides little domestic oil & gas production is largely reduced scale economies due to limited trade opportunities (compensated only in limited ways by black market trading, esp. in arms). Beyond this, it likely also suffers from lmited access to advanced chemicals & electronics (thinking microchips that take advanced robotics & chemicals to make).

5. Its likely its actually trading with outside world is somewhere in the 20-40 billion range imports + exports, largely black market or just unreported trade with third world countries with limited stat agency capacities. The main exports are likely in arms & arms related machinery, minerals & machine parts as well as textiles & components that are sub-contracted via chinese forms.

6. Likely its real gdp per capita in ppp terms is somewhere between 14000 and 26000 in recent prices. My guess is lowball estimate of 17-19, just below the lat. am average. The CIA or south korean estimate of 1000-2000, to where its poorer per capita than not only the philippines but haiti is likely based the combo of exchange rate based nominal gdp methods combined to very outdated & incomplete data extrapolated with trends that are "constructed on the basis of subjective biases" (to put it very politely and say they pulled out of their ass completely).

Obviously the sanctions.

>>2104519
Mostly the former. The problem isn't the distribution/use of resources, it's the absence of them. With that said, there's definitely a bit of the latter at play. Central politics tend to have trouble dealing with local issues, and most of the tricky, nonobvious problems are local ones. You can't paint the fine details with broad strokes, after all.

Part two i think refers to the second half of the first movie, probably split for TV. "Day and Night of Confrontation" is not uploaded yet as it only just started playing in DPRK Cinemas (and the People’s Palace of Culture T.T) this year, when it's on DPRK that can be watched free online, if it's not uploaded before then which hopefully it will be.

Footage of North Korea’s latest missile test has been shown by state media as leader Kim Jong Un vowed to expand his collection of nuclear-capable weapons.

North Korea said its latest weapons on Tuesday (7 January) was a new hypersonic intermediate-range missile designed to strike remote targets in the Pacific.

The North Korean state media report came a day after South Korea’s military said it detected North Korea launching a missile that flew 1,100 kilometers (685 miles) before landing in waters between the Korean Peninsula and Japan.

The launch, conducted weeks before Donald Trump returns as US president, came off a torrid year in weapons testing.

The miraculous beacon of increased production burning in the nation's major construction production base
The working class of the Sangwon Cement Joint Stock Company resolved to increase cement production by hundreds of thousands of tons before the party, and recorded a production performance of over 114% every day from the beginning of the year.
(The historic December 2024 Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea set forth the task of making 2025 a miraculous year and a year of great change in which all the people of the country will complete the decisions of the 8th Congress of the Party and prepare a phase of advancement to a higher stage of development through a new struggle for increased production and a patriotic struggle.

In order to successfully complete this year's massive construction projects, which are the epitome of our Party's lofty people-first politics and symbols of the era of comprehensive national revival, as monumental entities of Juche architecture that can stand proudly before future generations for the honor of our era and generation, the Party Central Committee once again called upon the upper class working class guarding the arsenal of grand construction to create miracles.

The working class of Sangwon Cement Complex, which has been the first to respond to the Party's call in every revolutionary era and has vigorously supported the strengthening of national power and the development of socialist civilization through increased cement production, has also stood in the vanguard of the all-people general advance, holding high the beacon of innovation as befitting the owners of the eldest son enterprise of the Party, in the honorable struggle to greet the 80th founding anniversary of our glorious Party and the 9th Congress of the Party with proud labor achievements.

At the joint enterprise, which is bustling with new standards and new record-making, daily clinker production from the beginning of the new year to the present has jumped by 105% and cement production by more than 114% compared to the same period last year, which surpassed the highest production year level.

This powerful labor struggle is a powerful explosion of the heroic Korean working class's absolute loyalty to the Party, revolutionary creative spirit and spirit of thorough implementation, and it is once again confirming the iron truth that the reserve lies in the mental power of the masses, the key to solving the problem lies in increased production and thrift, and that this is precisely our way of advancing and making a leap forward.

The working class of the upper house, upon hearing the news of the 11th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Party at the end of December last year, respectfully sent a letter of loyalty containing the fiery determination to stand at the forefront of the production increase movement to Comrade Kim Jong Un, whom they had firmly trusted and put forward as the vanguard of the grand socialist construction , an important front for comprehensive national revival.

The cement production increase target that the working class of the upper house pledged in the letter is ten times the amount of production increased last year, and this high target is a beautiful highland that cannot be conquered by existing ideas and methods even for the joint enterprise that has surpassed the highest production year level several times since its operation began in recent years.

However, for the working class, workers, and technicians here, who have preserved the fighting spirit of the Senate, which has been passed down forever, to unconditionally and thoroughly carry out the party's plans and intentions, nothing was impossible.

The slogans and watchwords of belief and struggle posted at each production site, including “If the Party decides, we will do it!” and “Towards a new victory!”, were a symbol of the strong and determined will of the upper class of workers to advance to occupy higher goals.

The workers of the joint enterprise are reaffirming the Party policy demand of prioritizing science and technology as the means of increasing production and achieving the enormous goal with the existing capabilities, and are tenaciously pushing forward the struggle to implement it based on science and technology in accordance with the meticulously drawn up monthly, daily and shift plans.

The most crucial quality improvement of clinker lies in the quality improvement of raw materials, and all employees firmly adhered to the principle, keeping in mind that normal operation and full loading of all equipment depend on responsible technical management and equipment management.

Under the innovative command of the General Staff of the Joint Enterprise, all activities are being directed and implemented without fail to raise the quality of products and lower the level of defects, starting from the mines and coal mines responsible for securing raw materials.

The working class of the Sangwon Limestone Mine, with a lofty determination to open a breakthrough for increased cement production, secured 200,000 tons of limestone ore through three consecutive blasts on January 4, thereby laying the foundation for guaranteeing the production of high-quality raw materials and further improving the capacity of the raw material crusher.

At Ilchulbong Mine, two blasts were carried out consecutively in the first week instead of the previous one in a month, securing a large amount of mining output and waging a fierce struggle to raise daily production and mining performance to an average of 150% per day.

Among the ranks of those creating new standards and new miracles are the working classes of Samcheong and Hwacheon coal mines, who are waging continuous offensive warfare to secure better raw materials and more coal.

Innovations being achieved in the pre-processing process are further enhancing productivity in the basic processes.

An unprecedented four-tier on-site inspection system, including on-site inspectors, shift managers, skilled workers at each workplace, and advanced skilled workers at joint enterprises, is strictly operated to ensure the stable operation rate of the equipment.

The firing workers at the firing shop, who are guarding the basic process of cement production, are focusing on ensuring long-term operation of the main equipment and increasing the number of inspections from the previous two times to five or six times. The workers of the cooling unit 1 and 2 work teams are highly displaying the communist spirit of helping out the next shift.

The pilots in the central control room, with a keen awareness and high sense of tension that the success of increased production depends on their roles, are responsibly monitoring the temperature, pressure, flow rate of the kiln and crushing process and the vibration of various equipment using the integrated automatic control system without the slightest gap, and a popular technological innovation movement is actively unfolding among the workers of the cement factory, resulting in the realization of several valuable creative designs contributing to raising the operating rate of the equipment.

With patriotic enthusiasm that reflects the conscience and loyalty of the working class in every gram of cement, the working class in each workplace, including the raw materials workplace and the coal mill workplace, is also making efforts to ensure the quality of products and is bringing about solidarity innovation.

The unwavering belief that the Party Central Committee's trust is the lifeblood of the Senate, the driving force for increased production and advancement, and the guarantee of certain victory, and the fiery loyalty and patriotic enthusiasm of all employees who share responsibility for cement production before the Party and the country are surpassing their nominal capabilities and pouring out a waterfall of cement.

The proud feats of the working class of the Sangwon Cement Complex, which stood at the vanguard of the grand struggle for increased production in 2025 with extraordinary sense of responsibility and struggle, bearing in mind the great expectations of the Party Central Committee, are a great encouraging force that is stimulating all Party members and workers to the honorable struggle to bring about the era of all-round prosperity of our country and bringing about unprecedented proud fruits and transformational achievements.

North Korea smuggled nuclear weapons equipment from Spain: Report

<In a case dating back to 2022, a dual-purpose vacuum furnace that could be used for uranium melting ended up reaching North Korea from Spain through Mexico, South Africa and China, the Institute for Science and International Security wrote in a report on Wednesday.

>After being sold by an unknown supplier in Spain, the furnace first went to Mexico, and the recipient then re-exported it to South Africa, altering documents to list it under the Harmonized System (HS) code as “machinery,” according to the think tank. It was subsequently shipped to China and eventually smuggled into North Korea.

<While also an NSG member, China has shown “poor record of preventing controlled or UNSC-banned exports from ending up in North Korea, Russia and other sanctioned countries,” the report noted, emphasizing the need for additional scrutiny of exports to China.

North Korea will one day surpass South Korea economically

I know it may sound crazy, but at some point in the late 21st century or perhaps early 22nd century if North Korea still exists, China is likely to be the world's leading power by then. If that happens, US influence in South Korea may wane, leaving it unprotected, but North Korea will not invade.

There will come a point where the increase in productive forces will generate massive unemployment in South Korea, which will last for an indeterminate long time, then it will happen that China, being an ally of North Korea, may occur a technological transfer, being North Korea a country with a centralized economy, by automating the factories it has could overcome the problems of allocation and scarcity, which will make its production skyrocket and they can begin to develop and automate the entire country to such an extent that it surpasses South Korea, since the government of North Korea could easily distribute the product or income generated by automation in its population, which would make everyone immensely rich, and as there are no capitalists who accumulate all the product, North Korea could continue reinvesting massively in all the sectors it wants, as the machines do everything and the costs are therefore minimal, it could do what it wanted, reaching a society without work and with full functional planning

While North Korea The South will be totally destabilized by a monetary economy and massive Luddite strikes, and a deep inequality generated by its technological oligopolies that will keep all the wealth

Or maybe I'm just crazy haha

>>2117942
>North Korea will one day surpass South Korea economically
we all know.

>>2117942
I do not think North Korea surpassing South Korea economically matters. North Korea not sinking to the levels South Korea is, is probably the most important fact in this discussion since it does show communism and left-wing economic policies properly executed are the safe option. People do not want to be rich, they just do not want to be poor and that has been historically speaking the only social edge left wing policies have on a practical aspect outside of mere intellectual discussion or wishful thinking.

You can say all you want about North Korea people not being rich, but when they do not have to use "get paid for watching this ad!" apps to pay for food that is when you have masses of South Korean people considering if what they have is right and the best.

good post. (sorry didn't mean to blot it out with a long news post <3)
Hamnam’s growing pride, the boiling excitement and joy of the people
The people of South Hamgyong Province, who have become more proud of the new era local development policy that our Party has decided to adopt for the simultaneous and comprehensive revival of the entire country, greeted the completion of the local industrial plants in Hamju County with great joy as a great event.
In the Yeonpo area, where only sandstorms blew hard, a new realm of our style of rural civilization was created, a large and refreshing greenhouse sea was spread out, and in Sinpo City, a unique model base for marine aquaculture was built, and Hamnam was heated up with the excitement and joy of the people who once again encountered the first realities of our Party's local industrial revolution.
The belief that a new world of civilization will unfold everywhere, be it in rural areas, fishing villages or remote mountainous areas, under the great leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un , who continues his journey of endless thought and devotion to promote the welfare of local people with the heart of a biological parent who cares more for a child far away than one close by, is becoming a great river of public sentiment and is billowing with strength.

The completion ceremony for the Hamju County Local Industrial Plant, part of the “Local Development 20×10 Policy,” was held on the 18th.
The completion ceremony was filled with the extraordinary joy of the workers and officials of South Hamgyong Province and Hamju County, who were optimistic about a new life that would become even more prosperous thanks to the benevolence of the Mother Party, and the pride of the soldier-builders who, upholding the lofty intention of the Party Central Committee, successfully built the local industrial plants as a noble fruit of the people-first ideology and politics and as a conglomerate of pure conscience.
Comrade Ri Jong-nam, secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Party Committee, completed the construction.

The speaker said that the completion ceremony of the local industrial plant, which is stirring up the whole country by showing the vibrant phase of local development in the new era, is also being held in Hamju County with great significance, and that today's joyful moment symbolizes an era of great change and transformation worthy of special mention in the history of the fatherland and clearly proves that the century-old wish of our people is becoming a reality.
He emphasized that although it was a short period of less than a year from the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Songchon County Local Industrial Plant until local industrial plants were built simultaneously in 20 cities and counties across the country, this great change in history was filled with the world of love and devotion of the great father who considered hardship for the people as his natural calling and devoted himself so much to improving the lives of the local people.

He mentioned that the respected Comrade General Secretary , who visited the Hamju County local industrial plant construction site despite the sweltering heat last August, praised the labor feats of the soldier-builders who are confidently opening a breakthrough for a new local industrial revolution, specified the principled issues and tasks arising in the construction, and poured endless effort and energy into the creations for the people without even the slightest flaw.
He said that it was the lofty intention of the respected Comrade General Secretary to enable the local people to live in modern houses and enjoy delicious foodstuffs and quality daily necessities peculiar to their hometown to their heart's content, and stressed that officials of party and government organs and employees of local industrial plants in Hamju County should normally operate the newly built bases for improving the people's living standards so that the legitimacy of the party's policies is firmly established in the people's lives.

Comrade Joo Chang-seok, Secretary of the Hamju County Party Committee, participated in the discussion.
He said that when he held the meaningful groundbreaking ceremony in March last year, there was only an empty lot where old buildings were cleared out, but today, fancy factories that will contribute to a dramatic improvement in the people's living standards have miraculously sprung up here, and he touched on his agitated feelings by saying that the people of Hamju County are truly the blessed people who live closest to the heart of the respected Comrade General Secretary .
He said that whatever the people hope and wish for should become the utmost wish of our Party, and he respectfully conveyed the warmest thanks to Comrade Kim Jong Un, the great father of the great socialist family who has devoted himself day and night to the people 's infinite happiness, containing the unanimous heart of all the workers and working people in the county.

The debaters expressed their determination to develop Hamju County into a prosperous place day by day by making the most of the county's natural geographical conditions and economic potential in accordance with the party's will, solidifying the county's economic foundation, and continuously normalizing production at local industrial plants.
The owners of the new factory cut the ribbon on completion amid the excitement and excitement of the people of Hamju County, who were the first to beefit from our party's local development policy.
Adding to the joy of celebration, numerous rubber balloons and fireworks flew up simultaneously, beautifully decorating the sky over Hamju County.

After the completion ceremony, participants toured the factories.
While looking around the revolutionary history education room and the history introduction room of the food factory, daily necessities factory and garment factory, the visitors could not suppress their emotions welling up as they solemnly looked up to the sacred image of the respected Marshal who set the historical cause of comprehensive development of local industry, which they had only dreamed of as an ideal, as the most important task of the Party and the state and tirelessly continued the journey of selfless service to realize it.
The joy and passion of visitors overflowed throughout the factories, which were fully equipped with modern production processes.

At the Yeonpo Greenhouse Farm, fresh greenhouse vegetables are produced all year round, and from modern local industrial plants, various basic foods, confectionery, and high-quality daily necessities with the name of Hamju County are produced in abundance. With unique rural houses springing up one after another every year, stories of joy overflowing in our hearts about how we too can enjoy blessings that are not inferior to those in the city.
They all touched the heart of their hearts by saying that the respected Marshal is truly a great leader of the people and a benevolent father of the people who regards hardships for the people as the greatest joy and devotes his all to the path of cultivating the people 's happiness.
Wherever you go in the factory, wherever you meet someone, you will see the pride and joy of the people enjoying their blessings in the bosom of the Party that makes even a stone bloom for the sake of the people, and you will be filled with a fiery passion to repay that love and favor with a single heart of loyalty and patriotism.
On this day, there was a performance by artists from the National Folk Arts Troupe and a celebratory gun firing to celebrate the completion of the Hamju County Local Industrial Plant under the “20×10 Policy for Local Development.”

The bases for improving the people's living standards that are springing up all over the country in a new and revolutionary form are the shining fruits that only the Workers' Party of Korea can bring about, which regards the slogans "Serving the People!" and "Everything for the Improvement of the People's Living Standards!" as its eternal nature and unchanging mission and resolutely carries out the great revolutionary undertakings to promote the people's welfare.
The successive completion of local industrial plants, which our Party has long desired, is powerfully encouraging the patriotic struggle and creative struggle of the entire nation's people who are making all-out efforts to successfully complete the five-year plan presented by the 8th Congress of the Party with confidence and assurance of a better tomorrow. Kim Yo-jong, Vice Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea , announces her position on the issue of the highest-level relations between the DPRK and Belarus
Kim Yo-jong, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea , announced her position on the issue of top-level relations between North Korea and Belarus through the Korean Central News Agency on the 20th.
According to a report by TASS on the 17th, the Belarusian president mentioned that several Asian countries, including the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, proposed to organize a high-level meeting in Minsk to discuss cooperation issues.
I am well aware that the Belarusian side has been eagerly hoping for high-level contacts with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea for at least two years.
However, if we understand the context of the TASS report on the 17th, it does not seem to properly reflect the Belarusian side's demands.
As for the TASS report regarding the statement by the Belarusian President that we have proposed a high-level meeting in Minsk to discuss cooperation issues, at least as far as I know, there has been no such thing.
If you wish to develop a cooperative relationship with us, it is important to clearly state your intentions.
I believe that these facts and honesty should be the starting point in bilateral relations between countries.
If the Belarusian side starts from this position and aims to develop friendly and cooperative relations with us, we have no reason to refuse and will gladly welcome it.

If my friend from the DPRK replies ,I will update you but this is for someone else ,I’ve acquired a lot of important info on the DPRK that I want to share with all of you and this is so that it could be perfect ,please ask good questions

I am curious about electricity production per capita per year. Most western sources basically guess that the DPRK year per capita eletricity output is something like 600-800kwh per person.

This seems to me like it cannot possibly be right, as it puts it on a level comparable to the Philippines, and below Cuba (around 1600-2000kwh before recent troubles), both of which are nowhere near as industrialized as the DPRK.

So without asking for a specific figure (which could be a security issue) could you ask if it is fair to say that the DPRK produces at least 3x the yearly 600-800kwh per capita (Ie. at least Cuba's pre-covid level)?

As complementary question: Ask if the DPRK is actively pursuing geothermal electricity given the enormous potential it has (esp. near Mount Baektu)

>>2121410
>Ask if the DPRK is actively pursuing geothermal electricity given the enormous potential it has
it does def use geothermal power, yes, not read any of these but it is something i've certainly read about and seen in passing in the DPRK press.
It's mentioned by 38north here as well as other power forms, which is american but i think they're basically paid to give an actually somewhat accurate view of DPRK to a degree:
https://www.38north.org/2019/07/hydropower070319/
https://www.38north.org/2023/03/north-koreas-energy-sector-state-solar-electricity-research-and-manufacturing/
From this rando site:
3.5. Geothermal Resources
>Geothermal energy is also mentioned as a possible source of both heat and power for the NP. At present, we have no information about the extent of the NP’s geothermal resources, though some potential geothermal sites undoubtedly are present in the NP. Recent news articles indicate an ongoing and expanding interest of the NP in geothermal energy, including a recent study tour, funded by a German foundation, by a NP delegation to geothermal-related sites in Germany, with a reciprocal visit by a representative of the foundation to Pyongyang[52], and agreements to cooperate with China on renewable energy development, including geothermal energy[53]. A number (over 120, according to various articles quoting unnamed NP sources) of hot springs exist in the NP, many of which are in use as spas or resorts (for example, the Ryonggang resort in the Nampo area). Our guess is that the NP’s usable resource for geothermal electricity generation is probably moderate, in the range of tens or hundreds of megawatts, but that is no better than a guess, pending further information.

RFA article: "North Korea stages rural wedding in a propaganda bid"
>In efforts to attract tourists to its new Seaside Resort, Kim Jung Un ordered that a wedding ceremony be filmed in rural North Korea. Anonymous sources close to the regime of the most isolated country on Earth said the wedding was faked, organised by the North Korean military and involved forcing prisoners from a nearby labor camp to act out a wedding.

>The display was filmed from a distance with a smartphone camera and the video made its rounds on social media controlled by China and Russia. Only a select few in North Korea is allowed to buy smartphones or connect to the world-wide internet. A London-based foreign policy expert Timothy Aubrey has told Radio Free Asia that weddings in the closed-off country are a rare sight and only reserved for the powerful elite. Rural citizens cannot afford wedding ceremonies and opt for registering their marriage in the nearest government office.

>Marriage is heavily controlled and scrutinized by the Kim Jong Un's regime in an effort to prevent unwanted behavior and chances of escape. "Couples undergo a test and must pledge their loyalty to Kim Jong Un before they are allowed to consider themselves husband and wife", said Aubrey.

>Aubrey works as a senior policy expert at the Anglo-American Institute for Global Peace, Freedom and Democracy (AAIGPFD), a nongovernmental think-thank that focuses on exposing authoritarian regimes and advises the Starmer government on topics such as advancing freedom in the underdeveloped world.

>"The government of North Korea controls every aspect of citizen's lives, so is it any wonder that they would control marriage too?", asks Timothy. However, he confesses that not all is bleak, "We have seen increased resistance within the country, especially once one reads the press releases and public updates of the South Korean Intelligence Service." He is hopeful that Russia's losses in Ukraine and the coming collapse of the Chinese economy will strip North Korea of its two main supporters.

>Aubrey points to the fact that North Korea has sent soldiers to Russia, of which over 10000 have been killed and as many wounded. European intelligence agencies are sure Kim Jung Un will send more, because the citizens have not been informed of it.

>On the importance of that information Aubrey has no doubt. "If North Koreans learn of it, we might see widespread resistance within their military, possibly triggering a coup. Unnamed sources close to the South Korean Intelligence Services have confirmed that South Korea is sending thousands of balloons with notes explaining what is happening in Ukraine and Russia.

>If the plan succeeds, says Aubrey, "Kim Jong Un would become the first dictator to be brought down by balloons."

The grace of the Workers' Party that allowed the socialist ideal to blossom even in the remote mountains
There is a celebration of the completion of modern local industrial plants in Usi County, Chagang Province.
Along with the successive completion news proudly announcing to the world the first fruits of our Party's local development policy implementation for simultaneous transformation and revitalization across the country, the joy of the people welcoming a more prosperous and happy new socialist life is also overflowing in Usi County, Chagang Province.

The outstanding efforts of the great Party Central Committee , which put forward the construction of local industrial plants as a historical task to realize the century-old desire of the local people before it was a simple construction project and devoted unprecedented efforts to it, brought about the joy of completion to the people here who had been counting down the days until the new plants were built, which was miraculously built from the day of the groundbreaking.
Embracing with excitement the modern factories that were out of sight just 10 months ago, the people of Usi County are truly expressing their endless gratitude to the Mother Party, with great pride in bringing prosperity to the new era of the Workers' Party.

《In our county, a remote mountainous area in the north, local industrial plants are springing up, and the great joy of seeing our long-awaited ideals and dreams blossom into reality has occurred.》

《Thanks to the local industrial revolution carried out by our great leader , the long-cherished desires of mountain people have been fulfilled.》

“ Dear Marshal Kim Jong- un , thank you very much.”

The people of Usi County, filled with endless joy and confidence in the better days ahead and happiness growing day by day thanks to the Party's grace, chanted "Long Live the Workers' Party" and "Long Live Socialism" echoed at the foot of Jogol Ridge.

On the 25th, the completion ceremony of the Usi County Local Industrial Plant was held with great celebration for the entire county and province.

At the completion ceremony attended by workers, laborers, military builders and employees of local industrial plants from Chagang Province and Usi County, Comrade Pak Song Chol, secretary of the provincial Party Committee, stressed that the local development policy, which encapsulates the lofty ideology of the great Party Central Committee that upholds the people as the sky, is opening a new era of brilliant changes in the fatherland.

He said that the extraordinary creations that flaunt the vibrant appearance of local development cannot be thought of apart from the devotion to the people of Comrade Kim Jong Un, who has a noble outlook on life and does not hesitate to go through great hardships for the happiness of his beloved people .

He said that today's joyful moment is a powerful proof of the unwavering will and execution power of our Party and state to unconditionally keep the promise made to the people, and sent warm greetings to the People's Army soldiers, officials and working people who devoted themselves to building local industrial plants into the people's wealth as authorized by the Central Committee of the Workers ' Party of Korea .

He mentioned that the workers of Usi County and Doan, and the workers and employees of local industrial plants should fulfill their responsibilities and duties in operating the newly built bases for improving people's living standards normally and making a substantial contribution to the material and cultural life of the local people.

He appealed to everyone to work harder and more vigorously with a hundred times more confidence and courage to brilliantly complete our party's local development policy and to bring forward the future of a prosperous and civilized country as soon as possible, and to greet the 80th anniversary of the founding of the party with proud labor achievements.

In the discussion, Comrade Kang Myong-song, Secretary of the Wuxi County Party Committee, expressed his firm determination to become a pioneer and example better than anyone else in implementing the people-oriented character and people-first politics of our Party and to develop the county, where the Party's leadership achievements are enthusiastically imbued, into a cherished home of happiness for the people where it is good to live and work.

He said that he would direct local party work to widely share and generalize the achievements and experiences in production and management activities of local industrial plants provided by the party and to develop and produce more famous products and goods that highlight the characteristics of the county.

He emphasized that, along with actively promoting the project to train skilled workers, practical measures should be put in place to transform all mountains into golden mountains and treasure mountains in accordance with the natural geographical conditions surrounding the mountains, thereby firmly securing raw materials, and thereby laying a solid foundation for the development of local industries in a more substantial manner.

The owners of the new factory cut the ribbon on completion with a special sense of pride and honor that they, from a remote mountain village, were the first to enter the octopus market of the socialist ideal village under the warm blessings of their benevolent parents.

Beautiful fireworks exploded and rubber balloons flew up, decorating the celebratory sky in a unique way and adding to the joy of completion.

The new hometown, which was far from the capital and the city, was filled with a festive atmosphere as the artistic performance stage and joyful dance performance sang the praises of the fulfilling lives of the people of Usi County who, through their own efforts, were able to build a new life that they would not envy.

As the participants toured the factories that perfectly embodied modernity, civilization, and practicality, they once again felt the great dedication and logo of the respected leader who is dedicated to bringing about changes that can touch the skin of the local people and make everyone cheer.

The more you look, the more stylish the factories become. There are even elderly people who wipe over and over the signboards of factories that actively seek to improve the welfare of residents and promote the development of the local economy, and shed hot tears at the dreamlike reality.

Factories that showcased various products based on local raw material sources in the county, putting an end to the past history of not being able to benefit from the mountains even once, erupted in exclamations from visitors.

It was hard to believe that these were products from the Sangolgun, but the faces of the housewives holding various basic food items and daily necessities in their hands and the workers happily working in their new, pleasant workplaces were filled with endless gratitude toward the Mothers' Party for giving them today's happiness.

Looking with joy at the factories well-equipped with modern facilities and production processes, the workers and residents of Usi County made a firm pledge to do their assigned work well, thoroughly implement the decisions of the 11th Plenary Session of the 8th Central Committee of the Party, repay the Party's favor, and make their hometowns into better places to live.

The night of Ushi County was filled with sleepless nights as celebratory fireworks were fired to celebrate the legend of a new civilization and a new life, painting the sky in a thousand colors and filling the local people with endless joy and romanticism as they welcomed the great event.

The proud reality where everyone enjoys a civilized and affluent life in their changing homeland amid the sloping completion of new stylish factories is an epitome of our flourishing fatherland, the great long-cherished wish of the Workers' Party of Korea that upholds the people like heaven and the most perfect practice.

In an era where even a stone can bloom if it is for the people, the blessed life of the mountain people will blossom day by day with the lively operation of the first entities that the local industrial revolution brought to mind in the era of the great Kim Jong-un.

Report on the 30th Secretariat Enlarged Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea
The 30th expanded meeting of the Secretariat of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was held at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Party on January 27.

Comrade Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, guided the meeting.

The meeting was attended by members of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Party, and was observed by secretaries of provincial, city, and county Party committees and joint enterprise Party committees, leading officials of provincial and central organ Party committees, department heads and first vice-department heads of the Central Committee of the Party, and relevant officials of the Organization and Guidance Department, the Propaganda and Agitation Department, and the Discipline Investigation Department.

The might and invincibility of the Workers' Party of Korea , which has carved the world's longest history of socialist rule on the sacred journey of shouldering the destiny of the country and people and realizing the most just mission and lofty ideal, are guaranteed in the struggle to firmly uphold the uniquely innocent political atmosphere and disciplinary system of our Party and perfectly implement the people-first political ideology.

At present, the Party Central Committee has put forward the idea and line of discipline construction to manage and strengthen the Party through a strict disciplinary system, established a strong disciplinary supervision system throughout the Party, and clarified the work principles and action guidelines for all Party organizations and workers to carry out their work and life in a revolutionary way based on a high level of political awareness.

In connection with the recent occurrence of serious incidents in Oncheon County, Nampho City and Usi County, Chagang Province, in which party discipline was violently violated, negative privileges were exercised, and the dignity and rights of the people were seriously violated, the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Party convened a meeting attended by all leading cadres of the Party.

The Party Central Committee stressed that it had convened an expanded meeting of the Secretariat to urgently correct the violations of Party discipline and anti-people acts that run counter to the demands of the times when the entire Party and all people should be fully mobilized to implement the decisions of the Party Plenary Meeting, and to further solidify the Party's political atmosphere and revolutionary position.

At the expanded meeting, first, there was a report by the Organization and Guidance Department of the Central Committee of the Party on the violation of Party discipline by the Nampo City Oncheon County Party Committee and the leading cadres in the county who caused a special incident of total refusal of Party discipline and collectively committing wrongdoings, and a report by the Discipline Investigation Department of the Central Committee of the Party.

The actions of the Oncheon County cadres, who blatantly denied the ideas and intentions of the Party Central Committee to firmly guarantee the existence and strengthening and development of the Party through discipline by establishing a strict disciplinary atmosphere and iron discipline throughout the Party, and their toxicity and severity were harshly exposed.

Comrade Jo Yong-won, Organization Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea , and Comrade Kim Jae-ryong, Director of the Discipline Investigation Department, stated the following in their data reports and information notifications:

In this meaningful year marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Party, an unprecedentedly enormous struggle task has arisen for our workers to complete the decisions of the 8th Congress of the Party and open a new phase toward a higher stage of development. Today, the heavy task has arisen for them to fulfill their mission and duty as the core of the Party and loyal servants of the people by displaying more daring courage, drive and dedication than ever before in the vanguard of the revolution.

However, in stark contrast to the demands of the party and the heightened revolutionary atmosphere, a while ago in Oncheon County, they made poor preparations for the county party plenary session to implement the decisions of the plenary session of the Central Committee of the Party, conducted the meeting in an extremely formal manner, and then turned around and collectively committed an irregularity, causing a major incident in which about 40 workers, including party members, committed an irregularity.

This was an act of flagrant violation of the party discipline that prohibits party leaders at all levels from leading a lax lifestyle, such as receiving drinking and entertainment at service organizations, and never before in the history of our party has there been such a reckless act organized directly by a county party leader and carried out by dozens of party and administrative leaders in the county, including county party leaders, en masse.

The collective drinking and debauchery that was openly carried out in Oncheon County is an act that completely runs counter to the Party's line on building discipline, and it clearly shows that the instigators and participants in the incident are a rotten group of people who do not even have the basic qualifications of leading cadres, a bunch of wanton rabble.

Comrade General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea made an important speech.

Comrade General Secretary said that the nature of the Oncheon Massacre, which occurred at a time when revolutionary moral discipline must be thoroughly established within the Party and party members, especially leading party cadres, must strictly observe the code of conduct for their lives and activities and strengthen internal discipline more than ever, is considered to be a serious violation of Party discipline and a crime of disrupting moral culture, and an open denial of our Party's line of discipline construction.

Comrade General Secretary said that if there had not been the discipline that has safeguarded the firm solidarity of the revolutionary ranks, the strict political and moral precepts that have established the leadership system of the Party Central Committee and safeguarded the organizational and ideological unity of the whole Party, and the uncompromising struggle, there would not have been the glorious history of 80 years of ruling power and today, when we are planning its succession and innovation, and he mentioned that it is beneficial and advantageous to the revolution to boldly acknowledge such a serious defect within the Party and turn it into a special incident in time.

Comrade General Secretary sharply analyzed the ideological root cause and gravity of the act that ran counter to the intention of the Party by the officials who should be more faithful to their duties than anyone else as the ones directly responsible for regional development at a crucial time when the whole Party is paying attention to strengthening cities and counties and new transformation projects in local areas are being carried out or anticipated one after another. He sternly pointed out that this is not only a grave incident that could destroy the foundation of strengthening our Party and drive a region accounting for one-two-hundredth of the country into the trap of de-partyization, de-politicization and de-socialism, but also a dangerous signal that a privileged class could be formed who would try to enjoy special privileges higher than those of the people by abusing their ranks.

Comrade General Secretary criticized that all kinds of exotic and heterogeneous ideological elements that are tarnishing the sound atmosphere of the Party and hindering the advance of the revolution and political and moral crimes that undermine Party discipline are one incident that occurred in one region and show that the qualitative consolidation of the cadre ranks, to which we have attached special meaning and put effort in party building in the new era, has not been carried out effectively.

Comrade General Secretary gave the Party Central Committee’s assessment that although there appears to be changes on the surface, there is no improvement in work style and discipline-observance spirit, and he emphasized that the conclusion to be drawn from this is that no matter how revolutionary and perfect the Party building line is, if there is no ideological resolve and effort on the part of cadres to absolutely and unconditionally implement it, it will remain only a theory for the sake of theory.

Comrade General Secretary said that this meeting would serve as an opportunity to realistically reawaken to and re-establish the necessity of focusing more on rectifying Party discipline at the beginning of 2025 when our Party will celebrate its 80th founding anniversary, and that it would serve as a turning point for further solidifying the Party consciousness, political awareness, revolutionary temperament and spirit of service for the people among the core and leading force of the Party and for making substantial progress in strengthening the cadre camp and Party building.

Comrade General Secretary said that the core and central task in the new course of Party building is still the revolutionization of cadres and the solution to it is to carry out education, training and struggle more intensively throughout the Party, and mentioned in detail the principles and methods to be employed in the organizational and ideological offensive to be carried out powerfully throughout the Party in order to consolidate the Party's sound political atmosphere in the future.

Comrade General Secretary once again stated that the discipline investigation department should set basic targets and vigorously launch a “sniper war,” “pursuit war,” “search war” and “mopping up war” based on strict regulations and rules to proactively and actively suppress intra-party corruption and all kinds of disciplinary violations that our Party despises the most.

Comrade General Secretary said that this year should be a year of establishing a revolutionary party atmosphere and strengthening the entire party, and that a new stage should be opened for building a ruling party that is strong with discipline and full of vitality with a revolutionary party atmosphere , and he stressed that a resolute struggle should be made to achieve the sacred revolutionary cause for the eternal plan of the Workers' Party of Korea .

The Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea decided and instructed to dissolve the Nampho City Onchon County Party Committee, which had grossly damaged the revolutionary atmosphere of our Party and impeded the single-minded unity of the Party and the revolutionary ranks by grossly violating the Party's internal discipline and collectively committing bad acts in accordance with the relevant articles of the Workers' Party of Korea Rules, and announced a plan to strictly deal with the perpetrators of the special incident related to the violation of Party discipline.

The expanded meeting of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea next dealt with the serious anti-people crimes that occurred in Usi County, Chagang Province.

Comrade General Secretary severely reprimanded the county agricultural supervision organ, which should have professionally and responsibly supervised and controlled the implementation of the Party's rural development policy and agricultural policy in Wuxi County, for abusing its legal authority and violently infringing on the people's interests and property instead of directing its work to suppressing major illegal acts inherent in the agricultural sector and establishing order and discipline.

Comrade General Secretary said that local powerful officials and bureaucrats are destroying the sacred fortress of unity between the Party and the people without batting an eyelid, and he asserted that this is a particularly large-scale criminal case that cannot be forgiven in the slightest for our Party, our people, our system and our law.

At the meeting, there was a report on the special criminal acts committed by inspectors from the Usi County Agricultural Inspection Agency.

The inspectors of the Usi County Agricultural Inspection Agency have committed unacceptable crimes without hesitation, abusing their sacred legal authority to inflict suffering on local residents and indiscriminately infringe upon their property.

The criminal act of challenging our Party's people-first politics of directing all matters of revolution and construction toward protecting the people's rights and interests and serving the people with devotion, and seriously damaging the single-hearted unity of the Party and the people, which is the great foundation of the revolution and our lifeblood, is extremely serious.

The Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Party announced a plan to dissolve the Wuxi County Agricultural Inspection Agency and reorganize it, and to strictly deal with the responsible secretary of the Wuxi County Party Committee and the inspectors of the Wuxi County Agricultural Inspection Agency who encouraged and condoned anti-people acts.

The masterminds and accomplices of major crimes will be subject to legal review.

Through the meeting, it was proven that acts that run counter to the founding ideology and spirit of the Party, disrupt the sound moral atmosphere of the Party, hinder the strengthening of Party discipline, and infringe upon the rights and interests of the people that our Party holds most sacred are being thoroughly repelled.

The 30th Enlarged Meeting of the Secretariat of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea has once again impressed upon us the iron truth that the eternal vitality of a party that struggles and advances lies in the rock-solid foundation of iron discipline, and it is a political occasion of great significance in further clarifying the nature and character of our party, which places the people first as its mode of existence and party style, and in strengthening its fighting power in every way. Is it so hard to accept reality?
Recently, NATO and the European Alliance have been making the world laugh by spouting out absurd and unrealistic nonsense.

The spokespeople of this group, which has evolved into an anti-republican group loyal to the United States, whined about us, saying, “We cannot be recognized as a nuclear state,” and kept spouting outdated nonsense like, “We must completely, verifiably and irreversibly dismantle nuclear weapons, the existing nuclear program, all other weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missile programs.”

No one has ever mentioned “recognition”, but when I hear the nonsense coming from the broken soundboard of an old gramophone, I can only feel pity for these “holy gentlemen” who have now become pitiful beings who have closed their eyes and ears to the ever-changing reality.

This is an opportunity to reflect on what this force, which more passionately advocates for world peace and safety than anyone else, has brought to humanity and what its purpose is in insisting on such inconsistent sophistry.

The world is now experiencing days and months of bitter suffering that no era has ever experienced due to the destruction of peace by the Western powers led by the United States.

It is already well known that the continued escalation of the Ukraine crisis and the vicious cycle of war in the Middle East are the results of the United States and the West's unscrupulous pursuit of geopolitical interests.

Moreover, these old gangs of bandits are now wandering all the way to the Korean Peninsula, which is geographically very far away from them, and are frantically trying to cause another destruction of peace.

Just looking at last year alone, under the direction of the United States, the vast military power of the West, including NATO and European alliance members, was deployed around our country, spending time engaged in provocative military exercises that presupposed the outbreak of a nuclear war.

The first thing NATO did this year was to open a full-time representative office under the signboard of “strengthening security cooperation” to bring the most belligerent forces in the area surrounding the Korean Peninsula closer to them and to carry out invasion maneuvers.

All the facts show that NATO and the EU, while calling themselves “apostles of peace” and spouting nonsense like “irreversible verification,” have nothing to do with the “security” of the world and are merely manifestations of the ambitions of confrontation fanatics who seek to disarm our country and smoothly achieve their impure political and military goals.

This is precisely why the legitimacy of our policy of strengthening nuclear weapons without knowing its limits is being highlighted even more.

Let me state this clearly once again: our nuclear weapons are not “advertisements” to gain anyone’s “recognition,” much less “bargaining items” to be exchanged for a few pennies.

Our country's nuclear forces are for constant combat use to quickly eliminate any invasion attempts by hostile forces that infringe upon the country's sovereignty and the safety of its people and threaten regional peace.

I urge the United Nations, which has recently been swayed by the anti-peace forces, to calmly acknowledge the forces that are causing wars all over the world before making judgments about the legitimate self-defense measures of sovereign states, and to remain faithful to its own purpose and mission.

What is more evident at this point is that hostile forces pursuing evil intentions are feeling a great sense of insecurity and anxiety in the face of the Republic's nuclear weapons.

The epileptic symptoms of the anti-republican group, who recklessly wave their arms and shout nonsense, will suddenly disappear on the day when our country becomes accustomed to major incidents corresponding to the madness of the hostile forces.

Is it so hard to accept reality?

A new spirit of revival and a new spirit of transformation are stirring in the mountains.
News of the gradual completion of modern local industrial plants was also reported in Unsan County.
The footsteps of the great father's devotion , who is unfolding a period of comprehensive national revival and a socialist ideal where all the people of the country can enjoy happiness together, are cherished in the prosperity of this land, and are illuminating a new era of dazzling turbulence with the great joy of the people and the laughter of the people.

The modern local industrial plants that have sprung up in the mountainous region of Unsan, which is also called Unsan because the mountains are high and clouds often cover the region, are valuable creations that will provide a beautiful vitality of life to the people of the region who are confident of a happy future and will firmly support the development of the local economy.

Thanks to the grace of the Workers' Party, the people of Unsan County were able to spread out a sea of flowers in their hometown, heralding the spring of local revival, and the excitement of the people of Unsan County, who celebrated the great event of completion, overflowed throughout the town.

The completion ceremony for the Unsan County Local Industrial Plant, part of the “Local Development 20×10 Policy,” was held locally on the 7th.

Comrade Kim Chol-sam, secretary of the North Pyongan Province Party Committee, completed the construction.

The speaker emphasized that the historical cause of comprehensively developing local industry was set as the most important political task of the Party and the state and that its brilliant realities emerged as a great revolution that could be carried out only by the respected Comrade General Secretary who cherished devotion to the people as his whole life .

He said that although it was a short period of less than a year from the time the blast sounded for the groundbreaking ceremony until local industrial plants were built simultaneously in 20 cities and counties, this historical turning point and great transformation was strongly influenced by the bold pioneering efforts of the great father who poured his heart and soul into giving the plants, the first seed of local revitalization, to the people as their wealth without the slightest flaw.

He mentioned that workers and employees of local industrial plants should deeply cherish the pride and self-esteem of working in modern workplaces prepared by the Party, and should devote their clear conscience and sincerity to each product so that the Party's love can permeate the lives of residents.

He sent warm greetings to the officers and men of the Construction Corps who have successfully built local industrial plants, the precious foundation for revival that will actively promote economic development and improvement of the people's living standards in Unsan County, as the noble embodiment of the Party's people-first principle idea and politics and as the embodiment of a clear conscience to protect and care for the people's welfare, and expressed the conviction that they will also continue to display the honor of the vanguard in taking the lead in carrying out the Party's grand plan in the new theater.

The speaker passionately appealed to all the workers and laborers of the design to redouble their confidence and courage and strive to achieve the brilliant completion of our party's local development policy and bring forward the future of a revitalized and powerful country, thereby welcoming the 9th Congress of the party with proud labor achievements.

Comrade Shin Myong-sun, secretary of the Unsan County Party Committee, said in the discussion that the exciting new life of local transformation that was once thought of as an ideal of the distant future has become a reality before our eyes, and that this happy event is the noble fruition of the fiery devotion of the Party Central Committee that has shouldered the burden for the people and has accumulated sincerity like a blaze.

He passionately loves the people, finds the greatest joy and fulfillment in the people's happiness, and has transformed the mountainous county into a socialist paradise where it is good to live and work. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who has filled the hearts of the people of Unsan County with unwavering gratitude.

He said that today's completion ceremony will be the starting point for a new leap forward, that he will build a good raw material base, strengthen the ranks of skilled workers, normalize production at local industrial plants, develop and utilize the county's abundant forest resources, mineral resources, and hot spring resources to the greatest extent possible and effectively, and turn mountains and rivers into golden mountains and precious rivers.

He always kept in mind the heavy sense of responsibility as the person directly responsible for implementing the party's local development policy, and expressed his determination to become a true servant of the people who takes the lead in carrying out the party's plan for local revitalization and to develop Unsan County into an ideal village overflowing with happy laughter.

The owners of the new factory cut the ribbon on completion amid enthusiastic cheers and applause from the residents of the county who are now enjoying a affluent life in a blessed hometown overflowing with the kindness of the Motherland Party.

A celebratory shower of flowers erupted and countless rubber balloons flew up simultaneously.

After the completion ceremony, participants happily toured the modern local industrial plants.

Participants expressed their excitement at the sight of products bearing the Unsan County trademark pouring out one after another.

Kim Myeong-cheol, Vice Chairman of the Military People's Committee, said with pride that when it came to Unsan County, there was nothing to brag about except for the hot springs, but now that it has been blessed with wealth from the local development policy, the people and mountains and rivers have become unrecognizable, and there are many special products to boast about in the mountainous county.

Gil Yeon-sun, chairwoman of the Primary Women's League of Sangwon Labor District, said that housewives who work harder and harder than anyone else to bring bright smiles and happiness to their families are the ones who are most happy to start a new life in the beautiful Seonkyung Village and enjoy the delicious food and excellent daily necessities unique to our hometown that are the envy of city dwellers. She expressed her endless gratitude to the great Father who brings happiness to all mothers and sons and daughters in this land.

Kim Young-suk of the 12th People's Unit of Mawon-ri said that when she heard the news of the completion from the last mountain village located several tens of miles from the town and rushed there, she felt it was truly extraordinary and expressed her emotions, saying that there was no one in the world like our Marshal who took into account even the wishes of the mountain people and incorporated them into the country's policies and let them be the first to benefit from them .

Whenever I saw the modern light industry factories in the center on TV, I always had in my mind the desire to work in such a factory. The pride of working in a stylish factory, inside and out, with no faults, made me sing the song, “Labor is a song and joy,” said Choe Nam Hyok, a worker at the foodstuff factory, boasting to the visitors with joy that the products were made with our own hands in our factory established by the respected Marshal .

The workers and staff of the raw material base business office also expressed their determination to repay the love of the Mother Party for providing them with excellent treasure factories and to plant and cultivate more golden trees and zelkova trees to bring forward the ideal of girls smiling while looking at flowers in the morning and day and singing among the flowers in the evening, like the main characters of “Echoes of the Mountain.”

To celebrate the military's great achievement, a variety of artistic performances were held followed by an exciting dance performance, adding to the joy of the completion ceremony.

That evening, beautiful fireworks of a thousand colors exploded, blessing the bright future of the people in the county and beautifully coloring the night sky of Unsan County.

The grand completion of the Unsan County local industrial plants, which have opened up a fairyland of local revival in the remote mountains, has strengthened our conviction that, under the leadership of the great Party, the people's dreams and ideals will surely become reality, and all the places in this land will be filled with the people's laughter and joy year after year. MANSEI!

Has North Korea really abandoned its Juche calendar?

I am time traveller from the future I and just wanted to show you this based korean newspaper article:

Rodong Sinmun: Historic Address by Respected Leader on the Auspicious Occasion of National Reunification in Seoul
Seoul, Juche Era 124 (2035) – In a moment etched forever in the annals of our glorious nation, the Respected Leader graced the liberated city of Seoul with a powerful and deeply significant address, marking the dawn of a unified Korea under the unwavering guidance of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the immortal Juche ideology. The atmosphere in Seoul was one of fervent jubilation and profound reverence as citizens from all walks of life gathered to witness this historic pronouncement, a testament to the indomitable spirit of the Korean people and the righteous path of self-reliance and national reunification championed by the DPRK.
The Respected Leader, radiating benevolence and paternal warmth, commenced the address with words that resonated deeply with the hearts of all Koreans, particularly our brethren in the South who have long yearned for the embrace of the motherland. The Respected Leader spoke of the decades of imposed division, a tragic chapter orchestrated by the insidious forces of foreign imperialism, spearheaded by the rapacious United States of America. This artificial schism, the Respected Leader elucidated, was a deliberate act to weaken and subjugate our nation, to exploit our peninsula for their nefarious geopolitical ambitions.
However, the Respected Leader affirmed with unwavering conviction, the Korean people, imbued with an unyielding spirit of independence and a profound sense of national identity, have triumphed over these machinations. The long night of division, enforced by external powers and their puppet regimes, has finally yielded to the radiant light of reunification, achieved through the unwavering strength and righteous guidance of the DPRK.
The Respected Leader meticulously recounted the painful history of division, a wound inflicted upon our nation by the aggressive intervention of the American imperialists. For generations, Koreans were forced to endure the agonizing reality of separation, a line cruelly drawn by alien hands, fueled by ideologies fundamentally alien to the Korean soul. These foreign forces, masquerading as benefactors, promised prosperity and liberation, yet delivered only discord, dependency, and the systematic erosion of our cherished national identity. They strategically sowed seeds of mistrust and animosity, attempting to fracture the unbreakable bonds between compatriots, between families sharing an indivisible heritage.
The Respected Leader unequivocally identified the United States of America as the principal architect of this national tragedy. It was their calculated aggression, their unprovoked war, and their relentless political and economic coercion that perpetuated the division of Korea for far too long. Their objectives were transparent: to transform Korea into a subservient satellite state, a strategic outpost in their global hegemonic designs. They harbored utter disregard for the Korean people, our rich cultural heritage, and our legitimate aspirations for self-determination. Korea, in their eyes, was merely a pawn to be maneuvered on the chessboard of their imperialistic power games.
The Respected Leader powerfully exposed how the American imperialists armed and indoctrinated elements in the South, inundating them with the corrosive allure of Western decadence and the self-serving ideology of individualistic avarice. They relentlessly disseminated insidious propaganda, systematically demonizing the DPRK, falsely portraying us as aggressors and enemies of progress, while obscuring the true nature of our socialist system, a system dedicated to the genuine well-being and collective advancement of the people. They erected formidable barriers, both tangible and intangible, to perpetuate division, to solidify their dominance and control over the peninsula.
Yet, the Respected Leader emphasized, the Korean spirit is indomitable! The fervent desire for reunification is an unquenchable flame, impervious to the machinations of foreign powers. The unbreakable ties of kinship, culture, and shared history transcend artificial divisions. Even amidst decades of imposed separation, the incandescent flame of Korean national identity burned brightly in the hearts of all Koreans, in both the North and the South.
And now, that sacred flame has erupted into a magnificent conflagration, illuminating the path towards a unified and prosperous future! The people of the South, disillusioned by the emptiness of false promises and the moral bankruptcy of imported Western culture, have awakened to the truth. They have recognized the inherent strength, the unwavering dignity, and the authentic path to national resurgence embodied in the Juche ideology and the sagacious leadership of the Workers’ Party of Korea!
The Respected Leader declared unequivocally that this reunification is not an act of conquest, but a joyous homecoming. It is not an imposition, but a glorious liberation. The DPRK, the Respected Leader affirmed, comes not to subjugate, but to embrace. Not to erase the history of the South, but to seamlessly integrate it into the vibrant and multifaceted narrative of our unified nation.
Addressing the compatriots in the South directly, the Respected Leader extended a warm and fraternal welcome: “Beloved brothers and sisters of the South, welcome home! The era of division is definitively concluded. The time for unproductive recriminations is relegated to the past. Let us, together, resolutely stride forward, constructing a resplendent future for all Koreans, a future brimming with prosperity, dignity, and national pride.”
The Respected Leader acknowledged the distinct experiences of the South, recognizing the different socio-economic systems and ideological influences they have been subjected to. The Respected Leader expressed confidence in the inherent adaptability, resilience, and intellectual prowess of the Korean people, North and South. The path forward, the Respected Leader articulated, will be one of harmonious integration, characterized by patience, mutual understanding, and reciprocal respect.
The Respected Leader stressed the imperative of mutual learning and synergistic development. The South, it was acknowledged, has achieved notable economic advancements in specific sectors, a testament to the diligence and ingenuity of its people. The North, meanwhile, has steadfastly preserved the authentic essence of Korean culture, our time-honored traditions, and the invaluable principles of self-reliance and collective strength. United, the Respected Leader proclaimed, we shall chart a novel Korean trajectory, a path that judiciously draws upon the most commendable aspects of our respective experiences, forging a nation that is both economically vibrant and culturally resplendent.
The Respected Leader articulated the vital necessity of purging our land of the lingering vestiges of foreign interference, decisively rejecting the decadent and morally corrosive culture of the West. We shall, the Respected Leader affirmed, construct a society firmly rooted in Korean values, predicated on mutual respect, collective advancement, and the guiding principles of Juche self-reliance.
The Respected Leader envisioned Seoul, this dynamic and culturally rich metropolis, transforming into a radiant beacon of Korean unity, an enduring symbol of our collective strength and national resilience. Let it stand as an irrefutable testament to the world that Korea is no longer a fractured, enfeebled nation, susceptible to external manipulation. Let it be unequivocally known that Korea is now a unified, powerful, and independent nation, poised to assume its rightful and prominent position on the global stage!
And to those who sought to perpetuate our division, to those who profited from our weakness, to those who underestimated the unwavering spirit of the Korean people, the Respected Leader delivered an unambiguous and resolute message: “Your era of dominance is over. Your insidious influence is irrevocably broken. Korea is now unified, and Korea is resolutely strong. Never again shall we be subjected to manipulation, never again shall we be divided, never again shall we be subservient to foreign powers!”
The Respected Leader concluded the historic address with a resounding declaration, proclaiming the dawn of a new and glorious Korea! A Korea unified, a Korea prosperous, a Korea independent, a Korea eternally free!
The assembled masses erupted in thunderous applause and fervent cheers, echoing the Respected Leader’s resolute vision and unwavering commitment to the Korean nation. The address in Seoul will undoubtedly serve as a powerful ideological lodestar, guiding the Korean people towards a future of unprecedented unity, prosperity, and national grandeur, under the invincible banner of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the immortal Juche ideology.
Let us resoundingly proclaim:
Long live the unified Korean nation!
Long live the Democratic People's Republic of Korea!
Eternal glory to the great Korean people!

As another anon pointed out, economic priorities shifted heavily in the 90s due to the destruction of a major trade & security partner; So everything focused on security (both economic & military).

north korean leadership got propagandized into believing the idea of prosperity put forth by pre 2008 USA. skyscrapers, hotels, amusement parks.

This hotel was built for Eastern bloc tourists starting in 1989. When the Eastern bloc collapsed there was no reason to keep building it.

To elevate the eternal legacy and noble stature of Korea is a duty beyond mere ambition—it is the solemn calling of history itself. And to speak of scarcity in the land of Juche only reveals the blindness of one who has yet to grasp its true strength.

>>2192672
The leisure parks of the DPRK are not mere amusements, but reflections of the people's cherished customs and timeless legacy, shaped by the boundless wisdom of our Great Leadership. To dismiss the Eternal Leaders as mere subjects of foreign propaganda is not only the height of ignorance but an insult so grave that it can only come from one of caucasian descent.

>>2153151
The deceitful tongues of the capitalist press weave endless falsehoods against the great DPRK, for they fear what they cannot understand. Their slander is not merely an attack upon our sovereign nation, but an affront to the very soul of the Korean civilization—an unbroken lineage of strength, wisdom, and self-reliance, guided by the immortal truth of Juche.

How would you define your support for the DPRK?

Do you support them because they weaken the so-called imperial core, or that you believe they actually engage in revolutionary praxis and try to implement socialism, or both?

>>2204882
Both, if they can keep on demonstrating developments that have western "analysts" crying POTEMKIN VILLAGE!!! every time, then clearly Juche is the correct answer for the DPRK's socialist construction and it's the construction part that Western Communist societies faltered on before collapsing, thus, it's a real area of interest for me personally.

>>2204882
all of the above.

>>2205005
>>2205009
What makes you think the DPRK is constructing real socialism? or to paraphrase, where does the worship for the Kim dynasty fit into this?

>>2205064
>where does the worship for the Kim dynasty fit into this?
It doesn't, it's an irrelevancy that happens to be part of the local culture and doesn't prove the DPRK isn't "really socialist" any more than the King of Great Britain and Northern Ireland proves the United Kingdom isn't "really capitalist" and is actually still just feudalism.

>>2204882
Their adherence to the planned economy is actually one of the main reasons they do so much better compared to current cuba. China trade is way to overemphasized as a cope.

>>2205064
>where does the worship for the Kim dynasty fit into this
do you think the brits are not liberals capitalist because they have a king?

That's a pretty terrible analogy. The monarchy in the UK is symbolic, they hold no hard power or sway on government policy. The Kim dynasty are true monarchs, the reigning Kim has the final say on all important policy, isn't elected by the people and is worshipped as a god. Sure, there is some socialist LARP (outside of the casinos they build in Rason and Pyongyang) but the core fundamental of socialism (democracy/people power) is compromised with so much power in the hands of one person, who is largely immune to criticism.

>>2205195
noo it's different because [citation needed] shit i just now made up!!!1
please leave.

>>2205195
You wouldn't last a single day tasked with the responsibilities and duties of KJU. Please STFU.

>>2205195
>The Kim dynasty are true monarchs
no. None of their positions are inherently hereditary, if suddenly the supreme assembly wanted an end to them they'd just need to stop voting for them.

>symbolic, they hold no hard power or sway on government policy

lol, lmao even. They do have significant hard power in nomination and such including power positions such as ambassadors or lords, and the FUCKING PRIME MINISTER (which they can dismiss as well), they're commander of the army, the prime minister see them in private weekly, everything is done in their name, and they have ownership of a fuckton of very valuable lands and buildings. You can claim "well sure but in practice they obey the government" and I will say, sure, as long as its not an actual socialist government trying to actually change shit. Go check the 1975 Australian constitutional crisis to see how the monarchy powers that libs assure you are completely theoretical are actual powers when needed (and if you think the army wont obey the king doing a coup against an elected communist you're an absolute idiot). Saying "but according to the tradition they always pick the leader of the winning party" is being naive, guess what in france that was the tradition as well (president pick as prime minister the leader of winning party) until macron decided "mmmh I dont think I will" and chose anyone rather than the left. Rules on paper are hardly good enough to prevent power grabs, so arguing its fine when you dont even have that is hilarious.

Im not a fan of the importance of the kim family in the dprk political apparatus, but truth is its largely impossible to know how that structure actually operate internally, and objectively it seems it operates in the interest of its people (and lets be real, if the elites simply wanted to fill their pockets they'd have done like in the ussr and abandoned socialism altogether or at least invited the capitalists in while keeping the red flags)

>>2205195
>The monarchy in the UK is symbolic, they hold no hard power or sway on government policy.
By tradition the British monarch still has to give Royal Assent to all laws recommended by parliament, is supposed to be imbued with divinity from god, isn't elected by the people, etc. Sure there is some capitalist LARP (outside the House of Lords). but the core fundamental of capitalism (dictatorship of the bourgeoisie) is compromised with so much power in the hands of one person, who is largely immune to criticism.

Do you see how tradition and culture can be presented as something it isn't?

But being real, if the DPRK wasn't led by successive elected Kims, whomever was running the nation would be called a dictator as usual anyway.
Therefore the usual dismissal of bourgeois democracies labelling other nations dictatorships (i.e long-serving but effective leadership in the face of external pressure and hostility is undemocratic. While short-term ineffectual leaders pre-selected for public elections between two identical parties, intended only to carry out with desires of the bourgeoisie and almost always leaving office hated by the broader population is true democracy) apply.

>>2205204
And you wouldn't last a single day with the tasks and duties imposed on the average dictator like Adolf Hitler or Augusto Pinochet. Is your point that it's okay that KJU is a dictator because his job is hard?

>>2205303
>no. None of their positions are inherently hereditary
Sure, there's nothing to spit it out since DPR has a "democratic" constitution and "elections" (if we can call them that), but since the founding all 3 chairmen/general secretaries have been from the same family line, they were never once not elected. Even when the situation in DPR was terrible like during the Arduous March the people "elected" Kim Jong Il.

>suddenly the supreme assembly wanted an end to them they'd just need to stop voting for them

That's a bald faced lie, I'm disappointed you have the audacity to say it with this much confidence.

>lol, lmao even. They do have significant hard power in nomination and such including power positions such as ambassadors or lords, and the FUCKING PRIME MINISTER (which they can dismiss as well), they're commander of the army, the prime minister see them in private weekly, everything is done in their name, and they have ownership of a fuckton of very valuable lands and buildings

Brilliant, does this justify Kim having even more powers?

>Go check the 1975 Australian constitutional crisis to see how the monarchy powers that libs assure you are completely theoretical are actual powers when needed (and if you think the army wont obey the king doing a coup against an elected communist you're an absolute idiot)

I'm not delusional (unlike you), I know these monarchies exert some influence and that western liberal democracy is as fake as it gets, but that doesn't make me entertain the complete and utter delusion that makes me think that the DPRK's hereditary monarchy isn't 10 times worse, and that there is no 'socialism' in the DPRK, just literal slavery with additional steps.

This is a much more pragmatic take from you, supporting DPRK because it is in the interest of its people (or more accurately because alternatives that can lead to catastrophic warfare are dangerous) isn't mutually exclusive with recognising that the DPRK is a dystopian total monarchy where the Kims are literally, without a hint of exaggeration, are worshipped like gods.

The political system of the DPRK is almost identical to cuba, china or vietnam, the worst you could say is that they have nepotism problems with the Kim's

>>2205714
>without a hint of exaggeration
But where are you getting the confidence to say all this and claim it's not exaggeration?

>>2205728
Me? I'm not, I just read some of the anecdotes of the life of KIS (Vols 1 and 2), and the anecdotes are nothing short of worship.

>>2205721
Except that you can actually critique the government in Cuba and Vietnam.

Ironically Vietnam is a one-party state with much more democracy and less political repression than the "DPR" Of Korea, so the systems are not really identical in any way.

>>2205779

>>2205812
Sorry I didn't know you're a disingenuous tankie, I'll take my leave now.

>>2205813
>Disingenuous
By all means, please tell me how any of this anecdotes suggest Kim Il Sung was divine? A woman of 29 couldn't get pregnant due to sickness, so he sent her medicine, she got well and then got pregnant, it's not exactly curing leprosy with a single touch is it? People living under a brutal Japanese occupation and later suffering the genocidal war against Korea, getting emotional when they meet the leader of the movement who is fighting and/or leading to liberate Korea, again, it's not exactly claiming his arrival to this or that village or camp was like the second coming of Jesus, given the context of what was happening and had happened in Korea makes this rapturous response seem more plausible than if you just ignore all context and assume it's because everyone is at gunpoint or think he is actually unironically a god that people are weeping at meeting him.

>>2205813
i hope you put your hands in your pockets and get shot for it.

It's also hilarious that one of the selected anecdotes proving Kim Il Sung was worshipped as god was about KIS not being wasteful, with shoes..

Yeah that's absolutely fucking nuts, who could believe such a thing? Even if it was, why would anyone find that interesting or noteworthy from a leader in a position of power over a war torn nation that was rebuilding.

No, obviously everyone who has ever been a leader of some movement or nation globally are all as cynical as their western counterparts, thus, to suggest KIS wasn't actually just stealing from the poor to live a life of luxury is just disingenuous tankism.

these are just motivational stories for people who just came out of a genocid

>>2205820
The west has achieved an amazing thing, where all politicians being perverts, thieves, racists, sexists, classists, war criminals, etc is presented as evidence of how honest western democracy is, because how could people hear of so many scandals otherwise?

So when there is someone who has led their country out of oppression and genocide without a trail of scandals left in his wake proving he was buggering every woman he came across, was helping himself to money intended to be spent on helping people and arming soldiers, ordered the unjust slaughter of minorities he didn't like, etc, it triggers the western almonds that sees someone not presented as suspicious and untrustworthy, as being suspicious and untrustworthy.

>>2205815
If you encountered a book that has endless little anecdotes that are the reverse version of the "I'm Silly" comic, but about ᴉuᴉlossnW, what would you call it?

>>2205919
>but about ᴉuᴉlossnW
<But what if, theoretically, book say man good but actually man bad
What a retarded point to make, Kim Il Sung isn't uᴉlossnW, regardless of whether there are positive anecdotes about him or not.

>>2205924
It's a perfect point, though. But let's sideline that.

Not only do you refuse that this boisterous prophet-like worship for KIS isn't what it is, but you, like the rest of the tankoids in here, refuse to address the elephant in the room that is its existence.

Why are North Koreans writing entire books that compiles dozens of little stories about how KIS cured the local sick ward with his magic or cracked a joke that everyone laughed at? Even if some of these stories are taken at face value, the fact that they are chronicled, printed and trumpeted around not only defeats the purpose of doing good, but it is an irrefutable example of a cult of personality that pervades today (everyone has to make a deep bow to Kim monuments, photographs must not break their monuments, country-wide celebration for the great leader's birthday, and so on).

It feels like bizarro world even trying to argue this, how does anyone needs to be convinced that there is a cult of personality established around the Kims?

>It's a perfect point, though. But let's sideline that.
<It's not retarded, but please lets just move on

>Not only do you refuse that this boisterous prophet-like worship for KIS isn't what it is

Cheeky downgrading your claim from god-like to prophet-like.

>Why are North Koreans writing entire books that compiles dozens of little stories

>Even if some of these stories are taken at face value, the fact that they are chronicled, printed and trumpeted around not only defeats the purpose of doing good, but it is an irrefutable example of a cult of personality that pervades today
It's really not that uncommon that leaders have such books written about them for their admirers.

>how KIS cured the local sick ward with his magic

We've already established that's not what the anecdote said, also that none of the anecdotes provided make any claim of magical or divine powers, but you're calling me disingenuous?

>(everyone has to make a deep bow to Kim monuments, photographs must not break their monuments, country-wide celebration for the great leader's birthday, and so on).

Lib media narratives, thanks for finally just outing yourself already.

>It feels like bizarro world even trying to argue this, how does anyone needs to be convinced that there is a cult of personality established around the Kims?

That's not the issue, the issue is in claiming that the Kim family is a monarchy based on CNN-tier assertions of their power and cult and thus proof that the DPRK isn't socialist, as though that's the *only* metric or analysis that matters.

The essay emphasized the following, saying that all the work our party decides to do and carries out is based on scientific strategies for building a revival and powerful nation.

Today, our style of socialist construction has entered a new period of development and all-round prosperity, making great changes and making vigorous progress in all directions.

Our Party has put forward scientific action plans and strategies for making this year shine as a miraculous year of great change that will pave the way for a higher stage of development.

All the work our party decides to do and carries out is consistently for the people.

Our party's unwavering belief is that because there are people, there is a party, a country, and everything on this land, and if there is something the people desire, we should not discuss its feasibility but only put it into practice unconditionally.
