🗽 UNITED STATES POLITICS 🦅
<SNAP into a Porky EditionThread for hellish discussion of the Dying Burger Reich: Things are going to continue to happen in the stupidest ways possible that no one really takes seriously, where every single person compulsively reacts with either cynical grifting or useless panic and appealing to a political system of liberal democracy that is entirely dead and irrelevant. things will continue to get gradually worse, more people will lose their jobs and homes, the most destitute and marginalized will be oppressed by state-backed domestic terrorism, but the decay will simply continue and everyone who isn't actively being imprisoned and forced into slavery or outright exterminated will simply ignore it and maintain a cognitive dissonance of believing a civil war is happening while living their lives in a mostly normal fashion. The death of the United States will be slow, painful, and insufferably annoying and stupid. 🏈 💵
Death to the scourge of the earth, the destroyer of nations, the father of fascism, the enabler of ethnostates, the treatlerite tyrant, the protector of pedophiles, the exporter of ecocide, the captain of capitalism, the king of coups, the sultan of sanctions, the emir of the embargo, the autocrat of austerity, the doge of deregulation, the baron of busting unions, the prince of privatization, the lord of loan sharks, the patron-saint of proxy wars, the sponsor of settlers, the guarantor of genocides, the invader of islands, the Divided $nakkkes of Amerikkka™ 🌭 🍔

>>2548027Focus on getting more revolutionary direct action involved, but otherwise yes.
>>2548027Accelerationism will almost certainly only lead to capitalism getting even worse at best or fascism at worst. We need a socialist movement to present a clear bulwark/alternative and smash the system.
>>2548032that's not what accelerationism means… but you should honestly do it just for the sake of it, costs nothing (or if it does, very little) after all
>>2548036republic of new york city in exile - mamdaniist faction
>>2548034Thinking you can hasten capitalism's demise by heightening its contradictions and the suffering it creates is one variant of it. If Trump goes full fascist in response to socdems we won't magically get socialism, things are much more likely to just get worse.
>>2548036NYPD is the most well funded, biggest, and most powerful police force, so much so that Zohran had to walk back most of his criticisms of it, so unfortunately that won't happen. Especially with how hard it is to get guns in NYC. More likely the NYPD, ICE, and National Guard turn NYC into a black box concentration camp.
>>2548032Someone needs to brush up on what contradictions are. This is exactly what we’ve been waiting for.
>>2548034Everything has a cost.
>>2548043>we won't magically get socialismWe won’t magically fail at abolishing the present state of things either.
>>2547902>other than the very minimumhuh? HY state, as a whole, is a contributing state, not a receipt state. the minimum would be nothing to NYC. he needs to sanction NY, lel.
everything else, is the regular two-party system accusing each to the other of being communist.
>>2547901yeah, sure, you will copy the Chinese model.
except you don't have unions to make the conditions the appropriate conditions, and you'll turn the factories in modern-day plantations.
>>2548043For you it's preferable the state remain stable? Why wouldn't I want trump to unleash authoritarianism and prove to the people democracy was a farce all along? Sharpening the contradictions is the best way to unveil false consciousness
>>2548048More like they wouldn't exist at all of they can't get labor prices down
>>2548048also if america reindustrializes it will have to sacrifice its world reserve currency hegemony, which is dependent on it importing commodities and exporting currency. trump thinks he can keep world reserve currency status AND reindustrialize but they are mutually exclusive goals. This is why china doesn't pursue currency hegemony (despite many china haters insisting they want it) because currency hegemony is ultimately a poison pill that makes you weak and dependent on others in exchange for a very temporary privilege
Currency hegemony made the Dutch and British empires week before America.
>>2548048also it will take DECADES to reindustrialize, especially without central planning
>>2548049No, I'm saying that destabilizing the system when we have no clear, organized, unified communist alternative that we can present as a direct bulwark against the fascist state will only lead to the USA being swallowed up by fascism. Think about, for example, Gaddafi's Libya. Was he a piece of shit? Yes. But killing him just to steal their resources and not actually caring enough to implement any alternatives to him only lead to the collapse of internal order, a massive refugee crisis, militias running around fighting each other… even after all this time, Libya is no better off than it was a decade ago. If we have no clear alternative vision to present the people, fascism will not be spontaneously defeated. It didn't work in any of the fascist WW2 countries despite them having even more internal and external pressure, it didn't work in WW1 countries when people were literally starving and on the brink, and it won't suddenly work here.
Our actions have to be based on a clear, rational understanding of the situation backed by popular support, rather than spontaneous actions and adventurist impulses, or the cause will just be crushed even more. This is what makes "scientific" socialism scientific.
>>2548053There is no "reindustrializing." When the USSR fell people didn't just go back to feudalism. Societies don't go backwards in development; they either move forward or have mass die-offs that create the conditions to move forward once enough resources go up for grabs.
>>2548049>Why wouldn't I want trump to unleash authoritarianism and prove to the people democracy was a farce all along? Once you've got a state with that kind of power, you can't control what it does, you can only do what those fuckheads tell you to do, because if you don't, they'll wrap your face in a plastic bag and kill you (along with your friends and family members kneeling next to you) while they're playing Taylor Swift from a portable stereo or something. That's how you'll go out. You don't want to be beaten, gassed, or shot, interned or deported, do you? Well, if you have a reasonable chance of getting away with disobedience, resistance, etc. as we do right now, you have no obligation not to, in this situation.
>>2548048>>2548052An America that reindustrializes is an America that is incentivized to burn money.
>>2548053I see five to ten years without monetary incentive or central planning.
>>2547902Strongest evidence that Zohran is a Democrat psyop lel
Zohran is just gonna be
Zoomer[1] coded DeBlasio with a rainbow coating and a mail nemesis relationship with Netanyahu half the planet away(liberal Zionist).
1. Sorry, I meant
"Gen-Z". We gotta have a respectable name for the generation "doing" all those
color revolutions.
Nobody could read a
>"Zoomers overthrow the government in another east Asian country and install a neoliberal economist backed by the military junta." Over and over again, with a straight face, after the generational idpol barrage that the word "Zoomer" has been associated with.
>>2548060
You shouldn't take anything NYPost takes seriously. It's basically just a tabloid that spouts 24/7 groyper propaganda, since it's funded by Murdoch.
>>2548061Yeah, we're in the beginnings of the mass die-off stage.
The USA will never reindustrialize. They will never bring back the 1950's "white picket fence nuclear family on a single high school graduate income" or whatever. It's just gonna be a lotta people fucking dying until Americans get tired of it and decide to move forward.
>The governor of Texas announced that he will impose a 100% tariff on those moving from New York.
>>2548065>until Americans get tired of it and decide to move forward.Already happened.
>>2547912imagine if trump sanctions nigeria and a couple dozens millions of christians fall into even deeper poverty because of this washed up plastic whore
>>2548065>>2548056how to have proletarian revolution if we don't re-proletarianize? what if de-industrialization was the real step backwards and it already happened?
>>2548071You don't need manufacturing to have a proletariat.
>>2548072>>2548071Yeah, we got a lot of neets, impoverished college students, service workers, drug dealers, impoverished unemployed college graduates, the homeless, gig workers, and more
>>2548045>Someone needs to brush up on what contradictions are. This is exactly what we’ve been waiting for.I hope you're not too surprised when nothing comes out from worsening conditions and heightened contradictions. I dont expect the US proletarian to organize any time soon, they will sooner accept poverty wages rather than accept anything even remotely close to international solidarity. you guys need to accept that the american left is more useless than a marzipan dildo
>>2547834>>2547830It's funny af that people say that China, a country that hasn't gone to war since 1979, is the real imperialist.
>>2548059>An America that reindustrializes is an America that is incentivized to burn money.I am not sure that's bad. but as these comrades said:
>>2548052>>2548051it's not possible for the US as it is to re-industrialize with labor wages as high as they are, and the situation is a consequence of the
exorbitant privilege the US dollar has.
>>2548076>they will sooner accept poverty wagesAlready happened. Now they can’t even get that.
>you guys need to accept that the american left is more useless than a marzipan dildoTrue communists fight the tide no matter what. And besides, things aren’t as bad as you think they are. We have a lot of things going for us underneath the mainstream.
>>2548072so we'll have a revolution of service sector workers?
>>2548083>it's not possible for the US as it is to re-industrialize with labor wages as high as they are, and the situation is a consequence of the exorbitant privilege the US dollar hasWhich is why labor wages will be abolished wholesale when reindustrialization happens. They can no longer sustainably coexist with industry.
>>2548084>True communists fight the tide no matter what. The original post expected heightened conditions would naturally lead to revolution, I was being a bit of a jerk, but your takeaway should be anyone's takeaway, conditions can grow even worse and nothing will come of it unless you organize. The proletarian is just not guaranteed a victory through sheer material conditions alone, that's an article of faith.
>>2548059>An America that reindustrializes is an America that is incentivized to burn money.America will eventually have to produce its own commodities once it no longer has world reserve currency hegemony
>>2548254All the people that would be producing commodities cannot pass a drug test or show up to work sober
Americans are too fat to have real jobs in a factory, a field, or a mine. Taking them out of the cubicle is like taking ice out of the freezer.
