Yes america probably needs a revolutionary civil war and re-education, but if I try to re-educate americans about how imperialism lowers their quality of life in the long term in exchange for crumbs in the short term, you interrupt, and cry and bitch, and moan, and scream, and cum, and shit your pants about how no, actually every burger gets a pony when public schooling is privatized and the war budget triples.
Most working class people in general, including people in the imperial core, would live better without imperialism, because all the lives and money and productive forces that get wasted in the scramble over dwindling natural resources would have been better spent without the race to the bottom that is imperialism.
At the end of the day, even the children of the capitalists don't benefit from imperialism if their children don't get to inherit a habitable planet. How is that so hard to understand? Think of the rivers of blood getting spilled so that a handful of corporations can control some increasingly irrelevant fossil fuels. And meanwhile they privatize, deregulate, union bust, build more prisons, let infrastructure rot, so that more of the GDP can be fed into the war machine. It's counter revolutionary to tell workers they benefit from that. They might receive crumbs from it, but those crumbs pale in comparison to what they would enjoy in a post-revolutionary society. Yes revolution and civil war will suck to live through but that's the cost of ending imperialism.
