>>2615041his meme is sarcastic. he's suggesting (and I disagree) that because kautsky betrayed socialism by going over to imperialism, the PRC has done the same. To understand his meme you have to understand that some anons in the past made the vulgar argument (with which I also disagree) that the PRC is socialist because the "90 million members of the CPC say so." i.e. "Do you cringe ultras think you know better than the 90 million members of the CPC." Moffins meme responds to the appeal to the authority of the millions of members of the CPC by showing that the 2nd international also had "millions of members" and yet betrayed socialism. But I think this analogy fails. The PRC isn't socialist because they say so, but because they have had a proletarian revolution already and have begun the task of socialist construction. That they find it necessary in their country to take particular strategies with regard to the national bourgeoisie is their business, and based on the characteristics of their country.
Kim Il Sung said:
"Marxism-Leninism is not a dogma, it is a guide to action and a creative theory. So, Marxism-Leninism can display its indestructible vitality only when it is applied creatively to suit the specific conditions of each country."
https://www.marxists.org/archive/kim-il-sung/1955/12/28.htmThis is why the CPC embraces the idea of the "birdcage economy" and "grasp the large and let go of the small." Because it suits their particular conditions on the world stage at a time when most of the global economy is still capitalist. Their military strategy is similarly non-interventionist, in counterpoint to the USA which is interventionist to the degree of overextending itself and making lots of enemies who will seek revenge for a long time.
What did Marx say?
>What we have to deal with here is a communist society, not as it has developed on its own foundations, but, on the contrary, just as it emerges from capitalist society; which is thus in every respect, economically, morally, and intellectually, still stamped with the birthmarks of the old society from whose womb it emerges. Accordingly, the individual producer receives back from society – after the deductions have been made – exactly what he gives to it. What he has given to it is his individual quantum of labor. For example, the social working day consists of the sum of the individual hours of work; the individual labor time of the individual producer is the part of the social working day contributed by him, his share in it. He receives a certificate from society that he has furnished such-and-such an amount of labor (after deducting his labor for the common funds); and with this certificate, he draws from the social stock of means of consumption as much as the same amount of labor cost. The same amount of labor which he has given to society in one form, he receives back in another.https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1875/gotha/ch01.htm >>2615063In that case you're just an orientalist yank who didn't take any lessons from what they read and simply trusted the heads of state who were forced to deal with the fallout of their respective revolutions and legitimize their rule lmao. Assuming you're uninformed was too charitable I guess.

>you just don't know what its like to do a revolution ultraWhich is sadly not really relevant to the fact that most Eastern Bloc leaders were total retards and were obviously constrained by the fact that their economies still had to produce goods for exchange which meant the project of socialism was basically irrelevant and marginalized after a while, even to the communist parties.
>>2615147So you do know how to read. Partially at least.
I don't see how your nonsequitor which amounts to complaining about the commodity production in east block is relevant to the question of your understanding of historical development and revolution as immaterial. What should they have done differently in your opinion? How could commodity production have been abolished entirely in a way that would have saved the east block revolutions (if they can even be called as such)

>>2615211I worked in a factory owned by Scientologists that where the machinery was literally held together by toothpicks, duct tape, cardboard, and glue. The plastic conveyor belts lacked inches of material, just going around with holes in them, the bottling machines didn't work so we were hired to screw on the bottlecaps by hand, the tools of the chemists who mixed in the ingredients for different shampoo and hygiene products were dirty as fuck, we produced shitton of waste products every day, "just pour the barrels of shampoo into the sewers" was something told to us every week, and when leaving work you could see the fucking foam escaping the manholes all around the city, and my boss asked me to take out the broken bricks and construction material from the new company garden (tm) where they poured construction waste ridden soil for the new plants.
I could go on, it was fucking crazy. Apparently the Scientologists used the factory as a big money laundering scheme. When I think of America, I remember the Scientologist factory I worked in.
