Lebanon: 150 rockets fired in 3 hours towards occupied territories… and the resistance launches "Operation Protective Edge"
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announced the launch of "Operation Eaten Straw," amid Israeli reports of a large barrage of rockets fired from Lebanon towards northern settlements.
The Islamic Resistance explained in a statement that, as part of Operation “Eaten Straw”, dozens of missiles targeted settlements that had been previously warned to evacuate within a 5-kilometer radius of the Lebanese-Palestinian border, in response to the criminal Israeli aggression that affected dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, including the southern suburbs of Beirut.
<The resistance added that, as part of the “Eaten Straw” operations, and within the framework of the warning it directed to the settlements of “Kiryat Shmona” and “Nahariya”, they were targeted with rocket barrages.
It also announced that Islamic Resistance fighters targeted the Misgav base and the Yodivat military industries company northeast of the occupied city of Haifa with dozens of missiles.
She also indicated that her fighters targeted the “Ami’ad” base north of Lake Tiberias and the “Shamshon” base west of Lake Tiberias with salvos of high-quality missiles.
It announced that it had targeted the headquarters of the Northern Command of the Israeli occupation army (Dado base) and the “Ein Zeitim” base north of occupied Safed with salvos of qualitative missiles, as well as the Haifa naval base and the Tirat Carmel base in the occupied city of Haifa with salvos of qualitative missiles, within the same series of operations.
The resistance targeted the settlement of "Kiryat Shmona" with a swarm of attack drones and a missile salvo.

Israel's Channel 12 reported that more than 150 rockets were fired from Lebanon towards the north in the last three hours.
Israeli media reported that sirens covered the entire coastal strip from Rosh Hanikra to Haifa, and also sounded in several places including Karmiel, Yarka, Kiryat Bialik, Shafa'amr, Haifa, Sakhnin, Acre and Kiryat Yam.
Israeli media also reported that sirens sounded in the Upper Galilee and northern Golan Heights due to fears of drone infiltration.
For its part, Channel 12 quoted senior Israeli officials as saying that there was an indication that the timing of the shooting this time was coordinated between Iran and Hezbollah.

-Targeting the newly established Balat site in southern Lebanon with artillery shells.
-Targeting a gathering of occupation forces south of the city of Khiam twice with a missile salvo.
-Targeting an occupation gathering near the Al-Manara site with a rocket barrage.
-Targeting an occupation gathering at the newly established Markaba site with artillery shells.
-Targeting a gathering of occupation vehicles and soldiers at the Marj site opposite the border town of Markaba with rocket barrages.
-An occupation force was spotted advancing towards the Khanouq area in the border town of Aitaroun, and targeted with rocket barrages.
Iraqi resistance: Any hostile move by Syria towards Lebanon will be a declaration of war on the axis of resistance.
The Islamic Resistance Coordination in Iraq warned the head of the transitional phase in Syria, Ahmed al-Sharaa, against any hostile move towards Lebanese territory.
In a statement, the coordination committee said, "We warn the so-called Abu Muhammad al-Julani that any hostile move towards Lebanese territory, in coordination with the Zionist-American enemy and under any pretext whatsoever, will be considered a declaration of war on the entire axis of resistance."
The Coordination Committee reminded everyone that "the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, which inflicted misery on the American occupation forces and left the bodies of ISIS members for the wolves of the valleys, is capable of crushing your movement if you get involved in trying to undermine the environment of the resistance or Hezbollah."
She said: "We see the treachery of the new authority in Syria, and we are monitoring the coordination with the enemy," adding: "We say very clearly that if you dare to violate the sovereignty of Lebanon and its patient, resistant people, we will turn your land into an open field of fire, and let him who warns be excused."
The Iraqi coordination statement came after the Syrian Ministry of Defense claimed to have detected Hezbollah reinforcements at the Lebanese-Syrian border, and alleged that the party fired shells towards ministry positions in Serghaya, saying: "We are assessing the situation."

IRGC says attacks on US bases will continue
A spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says major attacks continue against US military bases in the Middle East.
“A large number of American forces have been killed and wounded in attacks on US bases,” said IRGC spokesman Ebrahim Zolfaghari in an address on state television.
“The Strait of Hormuz is under constant surveillance by our forces. Our enemies have no right to pass through it, and our attacks will continue broadly using missiles and drones. The Islamic Republic is defending its independence, and our victory will be from Allah.”

Hezbollah says it fired rockets at Israeli bases
Hezbollah says it launched rockets on several Israeli military sites in response to Israeli strikes on Lebanon.
In a series of statements, the group said it targeted Ami’ad and the Samson base in Israel.
The Israeli army’s Northern Command headquarters, as well as the Ein Zeitim base near Safad, were also targeted, according to the statement.
Hezbollah added that it fired missiles at the Haifa naval base and Carmel airbase in the Israeli city of Haifa.
Kuwaiti air defences intercept hostile missile and drone attacks
