I think they're supposed to be a vacillating class. But in an alliance with the clergy rather than the working class the results are basically reactionary.

Zionists are the wahhabis of the jewish (and christian, weirdly enough) world and they basically won. Non-zionist jews have been reduced to such a brutally small minority that people dont even acknowledge them.

If the economy is nationalized and consists of a productive petty-bourgeoisie (less than five employees), strong social policies, and is organized according to (Allah's) plan, is it still capitalist? Is the money form anything but a signal of crystalized labor power (maybe divided by five)?

The Islamic Republic is leninism applied by an idealistic organization. Everyone thought it's le vertical dictatorship of detached elderly mullahs that will collapse with a fart, but in fact it turned out to be a revolutionary republic with a strong ideological base and dedicated cadre cells capable of adapting even when the higher leadership is assassinated. Even with an idealistic foundation, it displays significant resilience. Unironically, the structure of the IRI is to be learned from.

>It has been suggested that they could land on Iranian ground at Bandar-e-Jask, on the Gulf of Oman side, then move steadily northwards along the coastline that controls the strait towards Bandar Abbas, taking out Iranian positions.

>“The force could then work its way up the Iranian side of the strait, clearing as it goes, but you would need a lot more than a brigade there,” said Jeremy Binnie, an expert at defence intelligence company Janes.

>Nick Reynolds, a land warfare specialist at the Rusi think tank, believes helicopter-borne marines are “capable of conducting a lot of raids to deny the shores of the Strait of Hormuz to Iranians seeking to destroy vessels from land”.

>class war and history are (for now) the same thing
NTA but I've never understood this notion. marx says the history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggle. he said that because class struggle happens in all societies, because all societies so far are class societies. the part I have trouble with is the "history" part. History as an actual academic practice has actually notoriously been an enterprise of the privileged elites, the literate, the wealthy, and so the practitioners of history have actually been very good at covering up class war, and presenting history as a mere chronology of the deeds of wealthy, powerful, gifted, and famous individuals, and of "epic" events like wars and famines. it seems to me that the practice of writing history is often a covering up of class war rather than the manifestation of it.

fine. let islam become THE world religion. let there be one global ummah. then we will have the final revolution to overthrow the last remaining bourgeois state and the last remaining clerical elite. >>2748120
History is nothing but the succession of the separate generations, each of which exploits the materials, the capital funds, the productive forces handed down to it by all preceding generations, and thus, on the one hand, continues the traditional activity in completely changed circumstances and, on the other, modifies the old circumstances with a completely changed activity. This can be speculatively distorted so that later history is made the goal of earlier history, e.g. the goal ascribed to the discovery of America is to further the eruption of the French Revolution. Thereby history receives its own special aims and becomes “a person rating with other persons” (to wit: “Self-Consciousness, Criticism, the Unique,” etc.), while what is designated with the words “destiny,” “goal,” “germ,” or “idea” of earlier history is nothing more than an abstraction formed from later history, from the active influence which earlier history exercises on later history.

The further the separate spheres, which interact on one another, extend in the course of this development, the more the original isolation of the separate nationalities is destroyed by the developed mode of production and intercourse and the division of labour between various nations naturally brought forth by these, the more history becomes world history. Thus, for instance, if in England a machine is invented, which deprives countless workers of bread in India and China, and overturns the whole form of existence of these empires, this invention becomes a world-historical fact. Or again, take the case of sugar and coffee which have proved their world-historical importance in the nineteenth century by the fact that the lack of these products, occasioned by the Napoleonic Continental System, caused the Germans to rise against Napoleon, and thus became the real basis of the glorious Wars of liberation of 1813. From this it follows that this transformation of history into world history is not indeed a mere abstract act on the part of the “self-consciousness,” the world spirit, or of any other metaphysical spectre, but a quite material, empirically verifiable act, an act the proof of which every individual furnishes as he comes and goes, eats, drinks and clothes himself.

The troops amounts however elite they might be are too little to attempt anything major or anything for that matter. >Zionists are the wahhabis of the jewish (and christian, weirdly enough) world and they basically won.
This analogy seems weird because Zionism was initially highly secular (1940s/1950s) led by quasi-socialistic labor party types, and the Jews they bullied were usually conservative religious Jews. Like the Bible wasn't really important to them except as a useful myth to ground a claim to a historica Jewish homeland, but the superstitious aspects were really not important. But now you have religious Zionism. A Wahhabi-style Jew would be like that rabbi who yells about Barney being a thief.

The problem is that to stop Hormuz traffic Iran doesn't need a sea blockade, or boarding operations, mines or even be able to sink every tanker that attempts passage . They just need to be able to pop a tanker or two that are trying to get through every one to two days. That alone will make sure that the owners, insurers and captains will not try to to push their luck and the strait is effectively closed. This is what is happening rn btw. So control of the coast or disruption of the Iranian coastal defense would have a minor effect on the opening of the strait.

a civilian man named abraham zapruder happened to have camera, which was very rare for civilians in the 1960s, and set it up on a tripod to film JFK along the motorcade route when he got shot. It is the best quality publicly available video of JFK getting shot. Might be the only one.

i mean a video camera. everyone had photo cameras by then but most people did not own video cameras in the early 60s.

Usually I've heard this expressed as "they take the presidents in the backroom and show them a film of JFK getting shot from another angle," to imply that the deep state has their own film which has not been released showing the assassination as a sneaky mob-like way of communicating to the president that they killed JFK.

Hezbollah says it attacked Israeli soldiers near border
Hezbollah says it carried out a series of attacks on the Israeli military, including launching rockets at troops in northern Israel near the border with Lebanon.
The Lebanese group said it targeted Israeli soldiers south of the Lebanese border towns of Maqba and Maroun al-Ras.
It also said it targeted the illegal Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona for the seventh time.

US says it will temporarily lift sanctions on oil from Iran for 30 days
The US Treasury Department has said it is removing its own sanctions on Iranian crude oil and petroleum products for 30 days, as the US-Israeli war on Iran continues to cause oil price and supply shocks around the world.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the temporary authorisation only applies to sanctioned oil that was already in transit and not to new orders.
Iran has been attacking ships that it says are linked to the US and Israel, preventing shipments of oil and gas from transiting the Strait of Hormuz, causing price shocks around the world and fears of broader economic consequences for the global economy.

Iranian officials envision new post-war regional order
Iranian officials have a vision of a new regional order after this war. We saw this alluded to not just in Iranian President Pezeshkian’s Nowruz message today, but also in comments by Iran’s foreign minister and parliament speaker.
The Iranians think after this war ends, there should be a new regional system and that this system should be managed by regional states, without any intervention from international players or superpowers, mainly the United States.

Iran threatens ‘tourist destinations’ as US-Israel war enters week 3
Iran has threatened to expand its retaliatory attacks to include recreational and tourist sites worldwide.
Iran’s top military spokesman, General Abolfazl Shekarchi, warned that “parks, recreational areas and tourist destinations” worldwide won’t be safe for the country’s enemies.
The threat renewed concerns that Iran may revert to using asymmetric attacks beyond the Middle East as a pressure tactic.
Iran has stepped up its attacks on energy sites in Gulf Arab states after Israel bombed Iran’s massive South Pars offshore natural gasfield earlier in the week.
Two waves of Iranian drones attacked a Kuwaiti oil refinery early Friday, sparking a fire. The Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery, which can process some 730,000 barrels of oil per day, is one of the largest in the Middle East.

The decades are happening.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq: "NATO is withdrawing from the country as a result of our strikes on its positions."
Abu Mahdi al-Jaafari, the military spokesman for the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, “Saraya Awliya al-Dam,” confirmed that the resistance factions carried out successful and precise bombing operations during the past 20 days, targeting the locations of NATO forces at “Victory” base near Baghdad Airport.
He also pointed out that NATO forces are withdrawing from Iraq as a result of the strength of the strikes carried out by resistance factions against their locations.

Al-Jaafari stressed that the strikes will continue until the last foreign soldier leaves Iraqi territory, affirming the commitment to this goal.
Earlier this week, the Awliya al-Dam Brigades announced that its fighters had targeted the "occupying American presence" at the "Victory " base near Baghdad airport with a rocket barrage.

The Islamic resistance in Iraq continues its operations against American military bases in the country and shoots down American "MQ9" drones, since the start of the American-Israeli aggression against Iran.
The resistance announced that these operations come "in fulfillment of our religious duty and in retaliation for the blood of the guardian of God, the Imam, the martyred leader, Ali al-Husseini al-Khamenei," in addition to being "a deterrent to the aggression that led to the martyrdom of a group of young Iraqi resistance fighters."

A record number: 55 resistance operations in 24 hours against occupation sites and settlements
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon issued 55 military statements regarding operations to counter Israeli occupation movements on the Lebanese-Palestinian border, as well as operations targeting sites, bases, deployments of its “army” and settlements in northern occupied Palestine. This is the first time that the number of operational statements has reached 55 since the beginning of the war.

<Latest military operations

In the latest data released, the resistance reported that at 22:35 it targeted a gathering of Israeli occupation army soldiers in the Taybeh project, with a missile salvo.
At 22:20, another gathering of soldiers was targeted in the garden of the border town of Maroun al-Ras, simultaneously with the targeting of a gathering of soldiers and vehicles at the Marj site opposite the town of Markaba, with a large rocket salvo, once at 22:20, and again at 23:00.
At 23:30, the Islamic Resistance targeted a gathering of soldiers and vehicles of the Israeli occupation “army” in Khallat al-Aqsa, on the outskirts of the border town of Al-Adisa, with a rocket salvo.
As part of the warning issued by the Islamic Resistance to a number of settlements in northern occupied Palestine, its fighters targeted the settlement of "Kiryat Shmona" for the seventh time with a rocket salvo at 23:15 on Friday.

<Summary of today's operations

<Targeting occupation gatherings and sites
Earlier on Friday, the Islamic Resistance targeted the settlement of Shlomi with a barrage of rockets.
It also targeted a gathering of occupation army soldiers at the Marj site opposite the border town of Markaba with a rocket salvo.
At 05:22 AM, a gathering of occupation soldiers in Khallat al-Mahafir, on the outskirts of the border town of Al-Adisa, was targeted with a rocket salvo.
Afterwards, the resistance targeted a gathering of occupation soldiers at the newly established site in Jabal al-Bat in the border town of Aitaroun with a swoop attack, before returning to target it with a second rocket salvo.
In addition, the resistance targeted a gathering of occupation soldiers at the newly established site on the southern outskirts of the town of Markaba with a rocket salvo.
The Mujahideen targeted a gathering of occupation “army” soldiers in the city of Al-Khiam with a rocket salvo, and the soldiers gathered in the Al-Taybeh project with artillery shells.
They also targeted a position of the occupation army soldiers in Jabal Wardeh in the border town of Markaba with appropriate weapons, and then targeted it again with a rocket salvo.

With a guided missile, the Mujahideen targeted a Merkava tank in the Al-Faqani thrashes in the town of Al-Taybeh, achieving a direct hit.
After spotting an occupation force attempting to infiltrate the Randa area between the border towns of Alma al-Shaab and Al-Dhahira, Islamic resistance fighters clashed with them using light and medium weapons.
A gathering of occupation “army” soldiers south of the border town of Maroun al-Ras was targeted by a squadron of dive helicopters, and then it returned and targeted an occupation gathering in the border town’s garden with a missile salvo.
Likewise, the resistance targeted a gathering of occupation army soldiers in the Aitaroun forest with a rocket salvo, and another gathering at Khallat Wardeh in the town of Aita al-Shaab with a rocket salvo.
Afterwards, the Mujahideen targeted a gathering of occupation soldiers in the Al-Qabaa heights on the southeastern outskirts of the town of Markaba with artillery shells.

They also targeted a gathering of occupation soldiers on the southern outskirts of the town of Alma al-Shaab with a rocket salvo, and also on the southern outskirts of the town of Al-Dhahira with a rocket salvo.
In the same context, Israeli occupation army soldiers and vehicles were targeted in Khallat al-Aqsa, outside the border town of al-Adisa, with a rocket barrage.
Also, the resistance targeted a gathering of occupation army soldiers in the Dhahr al-Tayara area between the border towns of Markaba and Rab al-Thalathin with a rocket salvo.
On Thursday, a gathering of occupation army soldiers south of the border town of Maroun al-Ras was targeted by a squadron of attack drones, while an Israeli drone was shot down over the town of Barashit with appropriate weapons.

<Demolition of settlements

As part of the warning issued by the Islamic Resistance to a number of settlements in northern occupied Palestine, the Resistance targeted the settlement of "Kiryat Shmona" six times in a row on Friday with separate rocket salvos and swooping drones.
The settlements of Yiftah, Hanita, Ramot Naftali, Shomera, Yaroun, Netu’a, Avivim, Shlomi, and Nahariya were also targeted with scattered rocket barrages.

<Targeting bases and barracks

As for the barracks, on Friday the resistance targeted the "Yara" and "Metat" barracks with a squadron of attack drones.
With rocket barrages, the resistance targeted the barracks of “Zar’it”, “Branit” (the headquarters of the 91st Division), and “Kfar Giladi”.
In parallel, Hezbollah targeted the “Eilat” base northeast of the occupied city of Safed with a barrage of rockets.
It also targeted the “Filon” base south of “Rosh Pina” with a missile salvo, in addition to targeting the “Tefen” base east of the occupied city of Acre with a squadron of attack drones.

Likewise, the resistance targeted the "Mahva Alon" base southwest of the occupied city of Safed with a rocket barrage.
Also, the naval radar at the Ras al-Naqoura naval site was targeted with a dive drone and a direct hit was achieved.

In conclusion, the Islamic Resistance affirmed that it is committed to defending its land and people, especially with the Israeli occupation crossing the line with its crimes, noting that "its response targeted military sites, unlike the enemy's targeting of civilians," stressing that this is "the least that can be done to restrain it and prevent it from continuing its dangerous objectives against Lebanon, its state, its people, and its resistance."

https://consortiumnews.com/2026/03/19/will-trump-break-the-nuclear-taboo/

>Since the end of the Cold War, many people who pay attention have worried about an accidental or a miscalculated stumble into nuclear war.

>But with Trump breaking every taboo domestically and internationally, demonstrating that he is above the law and can do as he pleases at every turn, the ultimate taboo waiting to be broken is the nuclear one.

>This may in fact be part of the reason why Presidents Putin and China’s President Xi Jinping have muted their response to the attacks on Iran. They know how dangerous Trump is and they don’t want to provoke him.

>There are reports from U.S. Air Force veteran Mikey Weinstein, the head of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, that his organization has received calls from more than 200 soldiers on over 50 military bases, that “have one damn thing in freaking common …the unrestricted euphoria of their commanders and command chains as to how this new ‘biblically-sanctioned’ war is clearly the undeniable sign of the expeditious approach of the fundamentalist Christian ‘end times’ as vividly described in the New Testament book of Revelation.”

>The commander of one combat unit told non-commissioned officers “that the Iran war is part of God’s plan and that President Donald Trump was ‘anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth.’”

>U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard warned in June that we were “closer to the brink of nuclear annihilation than ever before.” We might be a lot closer than even she realized.

That's 3800 km away from South East corner of Iran.

US lifts sanctions on Iranian oil loaded on tankers
The Trump administration has been under fire for rising global oil prices and the knock on costs that brings to other products.
What Trump was hoping to do is to increase the supply of oil.
This is something that was just posted on the Treasury Department website, as it lifts sanctions on oil of Iranian origin, and it specifically says loaded on any vessel.
So that would mean a vessel could carry Iranian oil away and sell it.
On the other hand, theoretically, if someone else were to take over, you know, the Kharg Island, or oil production there, they also would be allowed to sell that oil.
I’m not saying we have any information on that. We don’t.
But it’s an interesting move, because it would seem to be counterproductive of the US over all of these many years to be carrying out sanctions – that block Iran from selling oil and make it very difficult for it to make money off it – and then suddenly release it at a time when it is at war with Iran.
So it seems to be a juxtaposition here in the US.

Iran warns UAE’s Ras al-Khaimah of attack if islands near Strait of Hormuz targeted again
The United Arab Emirates’ port city of Ras al-Khaimah will be targeted if Iran’s Abu Musa and Greater Tunb islands near the Strait of Hormuz are hit again, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard warned.
A statement published by Fars news agency quoted the Revolutionary Guard as saying that its forces will subject the UAE port city “to crushing blows” if new attacks target the two islands.
“As we had previously announced and have proven in practice, we will attack the source of any aggression against our land and national sovereignty,” the statement said.

Yes, it would be completely idiotic of the US to try and do a ground invasion now, it had to be prepared in advance.

But they have no choice, but to do a ground invasion, or they just fucking lose. Except why the fuck would Iran just sit and watch US amassing troops in Iraq and/or Kuwait? Or would US do something even dumber and try to naval invade and then try to supply through the Suez?

>>2748314
i was wondering what the deal with Ras Al Khaimah is since its fairly quiet emirate compared to Dubai, and Abu Dhabi.

>The most immediate reason for the threat is RAK’s proximity to the disputed islands of Abu Musa and the Greater/Lesser Tunbs.

>Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi claimed this week that the U.S. used "truck-based missile launchers" (HIMARS) from RAK to strike Iranian military sites on these islands
>If the U.S. or Israel wants to launch a ground assault to retake those islands—which effectively control the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz—RAK is the most logical staging ground.

>RAK is home to Saqr Port, the largest bulk-handling port in the Middle East and Africa.

>Saqr Port exports over 65 million tonnes of limestone, cement, and aggregates annually. If Saqr Port is destroyed, global construction projects (especially in Asia and the other Gulf states) would face a massive supply chain collapse.

>Saqr 2.0: A massive expansion project was underway to turn RAK into a hub for offshore oil and gas fabrication and heavy-lift project cargo [6.1]. Iran views this new infrastructure as a future "logistics tail" for the U.S. Navy.

They need to invade and subjugate all of Iran, or their hegemony is over. Simply occupying coastal provinces isn't enough, because it's missiles, not coastal batteries keeping the Strait blocked.

>>2748328
For the last time, they can't do an invasion from land. Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan and everyone else is neutral ground that won't allow a massing of US troops. They have to do amphibious landings.

>>2748327
Yet they are still winning…

>>2748344
This isn't actually HoI4. Invasion from ""neutral"" land is totally allowed. If they were neutral, they wouldn't be hosting American bases. And Iran of the same opinion.

i wouldn't trust any "neutral" country in the vicinity if i were them tbh, the problem for the US would have to be any sign of troops amassing will be a mating call for the shaheds since Iran has eyes in the skies

Turkey is a member of NATO and still didn't allow the US to invade Iraq from its territories, but the gulfies did. Again the stance of these governments matters.
No land neighbour of Iran is allowing the US to mass troops, and they're already bringing in MEUs instead of the land army, so if it happens it'd 100% be amphibious.

Lmao, US imperialist retards put EVERY important feature of their hegemony on the frontlines. Chips? Taiwan and South Korea. Internet and oil? Arabia. Actual physical industries? Europe, previously fully dependent on Russian and Arabian oil and gas.

They've "outsourced" not only industries, but their whole value generation chain on the frontiers of their 40 years of unchecked expansion.

Another Inter Dengist war might be commencing soon

>TOKYO, March 21 (Reuters) - Iran is ready to let Japanese-related vessels pass through the Strait of Hormuz, a vital artery for global oil supplies, Kyodo news reported, citing Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.
Tehran ‌has started talks with Tokyo, including with Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, about possibly opening the strait, Araqchi told the Japanese news agency in a phone interview on Friday.

>Japan's foreign and trade ministries and the Prime Minister's Office did not pick up calls from Reuters on Saturday seeking comment on the report. "Iran is, of course, ready to support the passing of Japan-related vessels through the Strait of Hormuz," if Japan seeks its reopening of the strait, Araqchi told Kyodo.

>Japan gets around 90% of its oil shipments via the strait, which Tehran has largely closed during the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran. A spike in global oil prices sparked by the war, which enters its fourth week on Saturday, has prompted Japan and other countries to release oil from their reserves. U.S. President Donald Trump met Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on Thursday, urging her to "step up" ‌as he presses allies - so far unsuccessfully - to send warships to help open the strait.

Takaichi told reporters after the Washington summit that she had briefed Trump on what support Japan could and could not provide in the strait under its laws.

>Japan's actions are limited under its postwar pacifist constitution, but 2015 security legislation allows Japan to use force overseas if an attack, including on a close security partner, threatens Japan's survival and no other means are available to address it.

Araqchi, a former ambassador to Japan, said Tokyo has a friendly relationship with Tehran, expressing hope that it would play a role in ending what he called unjustifiable and illegal "invasion" of his country. The U.S. does not seem ready to open conversations, Araqchi said, adding that Iran wants an end to the war, not a ceasefire, and is seeking a commitment that it would not be attacked.

>Moscow proposed a quid pro quo to the U.S. under which the Kremlin would stop sharing intelligence information with Iran, such as the precise coordinates of U.S. military assets in the Middle East, if Washington ceased supplying Ukraine with intel about Russia.
Two people familiar with the U.S.-Russia negotiations said that such a proposal was made by Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev to Trump administration envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner during their meeting last week in Miami.

>The U.S. rejected the proposal, the people added. They, like all other officials cited in this article, were granted anonymity due to the sensitivity of the discussions. Dmitriev labeled the report of the proposal as "fake" in a post on X. Nevertheless, the sheer existence of such a proposal has sparked concern among European diplomats, who worry Moscow is trying to drive a wedge between Europe and the U.S. at a critical moment for transatlantic relations. U.S. President Donald Trump has voiced anger over the refusal of allies to send warships in the Strait of Hormuz. On Friday, he lambasted his NATO allies as "COWARDS“ and said: "we will REMEMBER!" The White House declined to comment.

>The Russian Embassy in Washington did not respond to a request for comment. One EU diplomat called the Russian proposal "outrageous." The suggested deal is likely to fuel growing suspicions in Europe that the Witkoff-Dmitriev meetings are not delivering concrete progress toward a peace agreement in Ukraine, but are instead seen by Moscow as a chance to lure Washington into a deal between the two powers that leaves Europe on the sidelines. On Thursday, the Kremlin said that the U.S.-mediated Ukraine peace talks were "on hold." Russia has made various proposals about Iran to the U.S., which has rejected them all, another person familiar with the discussions said. This person said the U.S. also rejected a proposal to move Iran’s enriched uranium to Russia, which was first reported by Axios.

>Russia has expanded ‌intelligence-sharing and military cooperation with Iran since the war started, a person briefed on the intelligence said. The Wall Street Journal first reported the increase and wrote that Moscow is providing satellite imagery and drone technology to help Tehran target U.S. forces in the region. The Kremlin called that report "fake news." Trump hinted at a link between the intelligence-sharing with Iran and Ukraine during a recent interview with Fox News, saying that Russian President Vladimir Putin "might be helping them [Iran] a little bit, yeah, I guess, and he probably thinks we're helping Ukraine, right?" The U.S. continues to share intelligence with Ukraine, even as it has reduced other support. Washington briefly paused the exchanges last year after a disastrous Oval Office meeting between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. That abrupt halt to U.S. intelligence sharing triggered a chaotic scramble among allies and exposed deep tensions in the partnership with Kyiv.

>One European diplomat sought to downplay the risk of the Russian proposal, noting that French President Emmanuel Macron had said in January that “two-thirds” of military intelligence for Ukraine is now provided by France. Still, intelligence-sharing remains a last crucial pillar of American support for Ukraine after the Trump administration stopped most of its financial and military aid for Kyiv last year. Washington is still delivering weapons to Ukraine but under a NATO-led program where allies pay the U.S. for arms. Deliveries of critical air defense munitions, however, are under strain amid the U.S.-Israel war with Iran. Most recently, the Trump administration decided to ease sanctions on Russian oil to alleviate pressure on oil markets, causing strong concern and criticism from European leaders like German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

Iranian Revolutionary Guard in Wave 71: Introducing advanced offensive tactics and shooting down an Israeli F-16
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard announced on Saturday the launch of the 71st wave of Operation “True Promise 4”, confirming the introduction of new offensive tactics and more advanced systems “after studying the weaknesses of the enemies” during the first three weeks of the war.
The Guard explained in its statement that intelligence and operations leaders worked on developing combat methods, with the aim of narrowing the battlefield for the enemy and raising the level of military pressure during the next phase.

The Guard indicated that it carried out a "swift and continuous" attack targeting Tel Aviv and areas in Rishon LeZion, using heavy and accurate "Emad" missiles, multi-warhead "Qadr" missiles, and suicide drones.

<"Our operations will continue at an increasing pace."

The Guard statement added that the attacks also included targeting sites within the Aerospace Force's target bank at the "Ali Al Salem," "Al Kharj," and "Victory" bases, using heavy missiles and drones, as part of what it described as a "phased attrition strategy."
The Guard confirmed that the operations will continue at an escalating pace, stressing that the new strikes are part of an escalating course aimed at weakening the enemy’s capabilities and forcing it to retreat.

In this context, the Guard confirmed that during the first three weeks of the war, Iranian air defense systems were able to intercept and destroy more than 200 aerial targets, including drones, cruise missiles, refueling aircraft, and advanced fighter jets, reflecting the development of monitoring and countering capabilities in Iranian and regional airspace.

He also noted that Iranian air defenses targeted a third Israeli F-16 fighter jet in the central region of Iran.
Iran continues to target US military bases in the region and deep within the occupied entity in waves of bombing in Operation "True Promise 4", in response to the US-Israeli aggression on its territory.

First one the guys is basically saying Trump fucked up, now Iran defacto controls the gulf. Iran has increased its power.

Second says that basically there might be a strategic calculation from the US, since US basically doesnt get any hydrocarbons from middle east anymore and Europe and China is who is having the problem by whats happening in the gulf. Its not only oil but also other stuff. So in the calculation US gets better than China/Europe. Russia however wins something simply due to increased oil prices but also due to lessened sanctions. Potentially it may mean Europe - Russia relantionship again.

The confrontation with Iran and Hezbollah: Features and indicators of the erosion of Israeli "invulnerability"
Israeli media coverage since the start of the confrontation with Iran and Hezbollah has not followed a single direction, but rather is divided between approaches that focus on signs of weakness and erosion, and others that highlight elements of resilience, cohesion, and unity around the war's objectives. Nevertheless, the third week of the war brought further evidence and indicators that could be categorized as a decline in "national resilience," or that bear implications related to it in one way or another. Although the signs of what is known as Israeli "national resilience" do not yet reflect a complete collapse, it is clear that the general trend of this decline is upward, and matters are likely to worsen as long as the resistance axis manages to disrupt daily life and impose a "wartime routine" for as long as possible.

The following are some examples, which are quotes from Israeli sources, some of which are governmental remedial or preventive measures, to prevent damage to immunity or in an effort to restore it:

<1. Cracks in the "national resilience" of northern settlers

  • The government announced the allocation of approximately 11.8 million shekels to bolster community resilience in towns bordering the northern fence.
  • Media outlets repeatedly presented residents of the north with empty slogans, contrasting this with their experience of "an enemy that remains steadfast and invincible," and the notion that "this entire war and the suffering we endure are in vain."
  • The government acknowledged the repeated need for thousands of settlers to seek shelter during rocket fire from Iran and Lebanon.
  • There is a growing trend of statements such as: "The residents of the north are beginning to lose patience," and "Some of them are demanding evacuation."

<2. Disruption of daily life routine

  • Power outages in several areas of Rosh HaAyin due to cluster bombs falling on four locations, causing property damage.
  • The Savidor train station sustained significant damage, cars were set on fire, and an ambulance and a volunteer suffered minor injuries.
  • Shrapnel fell in 26 different locations (not specified), leading to residents seeking shelter.
  • Starting Thursday (March 19), passenger numbers on some departing flights will be reduced after three private planes were damaged by Iranian shelling while parked at Ben Gurion Airport.

<3. Inability to activate the educational system

  • Less than half of the students have returned to school.
  • Dozens of local authorities opposed the Ministry of Education's plan and refused to reopen schools due to a lack of safety measures.
  • A poll showed that two-thirds of parents prefer an immediate closure of the education system until Easter on April 1st, with 82% of parents feeling increasing pressure and difficulty in dealing with the situation. 48% completely oppose reopening schools, while 29% support a return provided safety measures are in place.

<4. Erosion of trust in the government

  • The head of the Mateh Asher Regional Council erupted in anger: "They promised us security – and we got rockets."
  • Repeated complaints that the government is not providing the public with realistic reports on the war situation, "but rather bombarding us with clichés that create unrealistic expectations. The fortification of a third of the population is inadequate, and politicians are exploiting us for their own survival. Is it any wonder we've lost faith?"
  • A gap has emerged between what the government told residents in the north – that Hezbollah has been set back decades and pushed beyond the Litani River – and the reality on the ground. Settlers in the north were surprised in the last two weeks by Hezbollah's capabilities, as they had believed it to be in a completely different position.
  • This confirms a common observation among observers that Israeli politicians are hiding behind the achievements of the war and lavishing praise on the "army" and the public for demonstrating "national resilience," while in reality, the politicians are amassing political support that allows them to remain in power.

<5. Declining trust in the "army"

  • The Israeli army spokesperson refuses to disclose the number of Hezbollah rockets fired toward northern Israel.
  • A study on the Home Front Resilience Index showed a 15% decrease in the resilience of residents in the Galilee and the Kariot (Haifa area).
  • Data confirms a gap between the army's statements and the reality on the ground, especially after the March 11 attack, which led to a decline in public confidence as warnings were initially denied before the admission that hundreds of rockets had fallen.
  • The Israeli army's operation in southern Lebanon is not a maneuver, but rather a palliative measure to reduce settler anxiety.

<6. Complaining about Israeli media contributing to "enemy propaganda".

A senior military official stated that "Hezbollah is exploiting media coverage in Israel, especially the apparent pressure and chaos, to use it as a propaganda tool."

<7. Division and accusations amid war

  • 30% of the population lacks shelters, and the reconstruction of the north is proceeding at a snail's pace, while billions of shekels in coalition funds are directly or indirectly financing draft evasion.
  • The criticism and political recriminations that subsided in the early days of the war are intensifying, highlighting the shortcomings in the management and exploitation of the war domestically. These criticisms are now being voiced across various political, media, and public platforms (nevertheless, support for the principle of waging the war remains high).

<8. Various thefts under missile alerts

  • Israeli police: Israelis have been exploiting emergencies and missile alerts to steal from homes, shops, and gas stations, at a time when settlers are rushing to shelters, during the last two weeks.

<9. Psychological exhaustion and decreased ability to endure a long war

According to a report, there is significant concern about a mass exodus from the north. Therefore, information regarding the expected Hezbollah rocket barrage (March 17, 2026) was released to the public only in the afternoon to avoid the image of a mass evacuation from the frontline settlements.
In the past two weeks, Israel has seen a surge in demand for sleeping pills, sedatives, and dietary supplements designed to manage anxiety.
"Living in the north is not easy. The situation is more complex than it was during the 2023-2024 war because there are now thousands of residents."

<10. Fragility of the sense of personal and collective security

  • Israelis' sense of personal security declined last year compared to the previous year, with the largest decreases recorded in Haifa (33.9%) and Tel Aviv (33.4%).
  • The home front is facing a difficult situation, particularly in Lod, due to the lack of adequate shelters. Residents suffer from a clear shortage of shelters, in addition to the deteriorating condition of some due to electrical malfunctions or water leaks.
  • More than ten thousand Israelis in the north have nowhere to flee to, and they lack fortified rooms.
The Israeli army has decided to relocate senior military officials and those holding sensitive positions from their homes to alternative housing.
  • The mayor of Nahariya said: "I am at the site of the attack in Nahariya. The war in Nahariya is very difficult, the warning time was short, and we are facing difficult and complex times."

<11. Security and economic pressures and weak defenses

  • The Home Front Commander told the heads of local authorities in the North: "Your actions may determine who lives and who dies, and your resilience is of paramount importance."
  • The economic and security crisis is dividing the Northern Command regarding the issue of remaining in the towns. On one side, there are local leaders who categorically oppose evacuation, considering it a "fatal blow" to towns to which residents may never return. On the other side, voices are growing louder, arguing that without budgets, the residents cannot be kept under fire.
  • Local leaders in the North are demanding the immediate evacuation of 45,000 unprotected settlers.
  • The head of the Shlomi Local Council said: "We demand that the state evacuate residents who lack means of protection, especially the elderly. We also demand compensation for our residents."

<12. Increasing cases of "temporary evacuations" from settlements in the north

The settlement of Metula began a gradual evacuation of residents "for temporary periods of 3 to 5 days before their return.
" Sixty families from the settlement of Shlomi were evacuated to the Netanya area for relief and a brief respite, as a temporary evacuation for a week. The Jewish National Fund announced that they would provide 800 people with the opportunity to leave for a two-day break in the coming days.
Shlomi residents stated, "We demand that the government evacuate all residents who do not have shelters. Approximately 3,000 out of 10,000 residents of Shlomi must be evacuated."
So far, 25 hotels have been opened to accommodate evacuees, in preparation for a scenario of expanded fighting, including the possibility of rocket fire from Yemen towards Eilat. Across the country, approximately 4,000 citizens have been evacuated from their homes to hotels.

<13. Gap in the Ministry of Finance's reference scenario

  • Sources within the Ministry of Finance assumed the current war would be similar to the 12-day "Operation Rising Lion," perhaps even slightly longer. However, this assessment is unfounded, and there are no indications of an imminent end to the confrontation.
  • The reference scenario presented to the Ministry of Finance anticipated a limited incident in the north, not a large-scale confrontation. In reality, however, the confrontation with Hezbollah has escalated significantly.
  • With the expansion of the conflict with Iran and Hezbollah, contrary to the Ministry of Finance's reference scenario, increased war expenditures are expected to raise both direct and indirect costs, potentially pressuring Israeli and American decision-makers to either escalate or de-escalate.
  • The cost of each day of the war is estimated at approximately one billion shekels. These figures include only direct security expenditures, excluding civilian costs and losses in economic output.

<14. Signs of a shift in the Israeli narrative towards Hezbollah

When Hezbollah entered the battle, the Israeli army seemed to celebrate, believing Hezbollah had fallen into a strategic ambush. But two weeks later, it appears the army itself is "not sure we weren't the ones who fell into the trap."
"Hezbollah is different. Its fighters are armed from head to toe and have extensive military experience. They succeed in achieving surprise and continue firing. The residents who returned to their homes thought it was over and that deterrence had been achieved, but it wasn't."

Reminder that this poster is a retard who understands things not as a process but as there must be some labor movement that arises purely from the direct pressures of the organizers. People aren't going to join up on revolutionary efforts until they've seen both that these efforts are possible, but also that they must go further and broader. This is someone who thinks that we are going to go from a reading chair to climbing mountains in a single step. We have to face the simple fact that the labor movement and its momentum was overwhelmingly shredded and lost and that huge lessons simply must be re-learnt by doing. The development of getting an advanced labor movement in the 20th century was not disconnected from the missteps of what came before it, this man is a dipshit who thinks that you can simply transmit the information of the entire advanced labor movement by sheer admonishment.
Is it ultimately effective at combatting porky as a whole? Can this develop further? Yes. Do we have serious alternatives to learning through trial? Not really.

A revolutionary movement without the absence of theory deprives a revolutionary trend of the right to existence and inevitably condemns it, sooner or later, to political bankruptcy. This is what's required first.

>The Social-Democrats will always warn against adventurism and ruthlessly expose illusions which inevitably end in complete disappointment. We must bear in mind that a revolutionary party is worthy of its name only when it quides [sic.] in deed the movement of a revolutionary class.

Ultimately the work of setting factories on fire is Petty Work among the revolutionaries and not Big Work. Try reading Lenin sometime

>>2748752
You are fundamentally arguing that theory exists, which, though it has not yet gripped the masses, should be affecting them. You are arguing that the ideas should precede the practice. The critique is not that burning a weapons factory is bad, the critique is that it is limited in scope to a single factory, and we need to expand this to an entire weapons factory burning movement.

All you pick up on is the vitriol without any of the useful scientific insight.

you've completely misunderstood my post
>You are arguing that the ideas should precede the practice
Lenin is saying that, hence the quote
>The critique is not that burning a weapons factory is bad, the critique is that it is limited in scope to a single factory
The labor movement passively benefits from a single burned factory, but to have it as part of revolutionary work out of step with the masses is infantile commandism as we'll run out of Revolutionaries before Porky runs out of factories, exactly why political violence is also a losing game
>and we need to expand this to an entire weapons factory burning movement
just read Lenin im begging you. Unless you can show me some good arguments on why adventurism is productive

>But we must not allow our selves to be provoked. We must not lose our heads at the very first peals of really revolutionary thunder coming from the people, cast all caution to the winds, and, to ease mind and conscience, eschew all the experience of Europe and the experience of Russia, all more or less definite socialist convictions, all claims to fundamentally consistent, and not adventurist, tactics. In short, we must not allow realisation of an attempt to restore the Narodnaya Volya movement and to repeat all its theoretical and practical mistakes that the Socialist-Revolutionaries have under taken and persist in furthering more and more. Our answer to efforts made to corrupt the masses and provoke the revolutionaries must not be given in a “programme” which would open the door wide to the most harmful old mistakes and to new ideological waverings, or in tactics that would tend to deepen the isolation of the revolutionaries from the masses, which is the main source of our weakness and of our incapacity to start a determined struggle at once. We must answer by strengthening the contact between the revolutionaries and the people, and this contact can be established in our time only by developing and strengthening the Social-Democratic labour movement. Only the working-class movement rouses that truly revolutionary and advanced class which has nothing to lose from the collapse of the existing political and social order, the class which is the final and inevitable product of that order, the class which alone is the unquestionable and uncompromising enemy of that order. Only by relying upon the theory of revolutionary Marxism, upon the experience of international Social-Democracy, clan we bring about the fusion of our revolutionary movement with the labour movement and create an invincible Social-Democratic movement. Only in the name of a real workers’ party can we, without losing faith in our convictions, call on all the progressive elements in the country to join in revolutionary work, call on all working, all suffering and oppressed people to support socialism.

This is the current state of the Chinese commentariat.

Saudi Arabia-Iran ties ‘at a point of no return’
In the last 24 hours, there have been at least 56 Iranian drones violating Saudi Arabia’s airspace, mostly aiming at its Eastern Province.
That’s important because the overwhelming majority of the country’s oil resources and energy installations are located there, including oil processing plants and export terminals.
So it’s clear that Iran is attacking the economic lifeline of Saudi Arabia. The kingdom has an advantage compared to most other Gulf countries because it can partially bypass the Strait of Hormuz and transfer the energy through the Red Sea. However, 70 percent of the country’s energy is being transported or sold to the world through the waterway.
The Iranian attacks are not only putting pressure on Saudi Arabia’s economy, but also on diplomacy by further deteriorating relations between Riyadh and Tehran.
Two days ago, when several foreign ministers of Islamic countries were having a meeting in Riyadh, three Iranian ballistic missiles attacked the capital. That triggered a harsh statement from Saudi Arabia, with the foreign minister saying that the little trust left between Tehran and Riyadh had been shattered.
In 2023, Iran and Saudi Arabia signed a China-brokered rapprochement agreement. The goal for that agreement was that in case of any conflict between Israel and Iran, Saudi Arabia would remain neutral.
According to many, this is now at a point of no return.

==US trying to bully allies into doing its dirty work in the Gulf: Analyst
Phillips O’Brien, chair of strategic studies at the University of St Andrews, says the US likely did not prepare for the war to drag on as long as it has, expecting Iran’s government to quickly cave to the military pressure.

“This is one of the common mistakes that people make when they start a war. They assume that they can control events, that their military can do what it wants to do and that they will achieve what they want in a relatively short period of time,” O’Brien told Al Jazeera.

“This war has already gone on longer than the US intended.

“Trump probably expected a few days of bombing, a new Iranian leadership and to declare victory. Here we are three weeks into it, and it’s the US that is debating escalation, the US that is actually relaxing some sanctions on Iran, and the US that is trying to bully its allies into doing its dirty work in the Gulf.”

Five wounded in northern Israel after rocket attack: Report
Video posted earlier today shows damage to a residential building in Ma’alot-Tarshiha in northern Israel following a rocket attack from Lebanon and falling interception debris.
Five people were lightly wounded after a Hezbollah rocket struck a home in the town, medics said, according to the Times of Israel.
Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency service said the injuries were caused by shrapnel following the impact.

UK rules out using Cyprus bases for attacks on Iran: Cypriot official
The UK will not use its military bases in Cyprus for offensive operations related to the Iran crisis, a Cypriot government spokesperson said.
The comments followed a phone call between UK’s Prime Minister Starmer and Cypriot President Christodoulides.
The UK retains sovereignty over two bases on the island, including RAF Akrotiri, which has previously been targeted by drones during the current escalation.

Pressure building on Israeli politicians over wartime disruptions
Sirens continue to blare across Israel, especially in the north where communities on the “confrontation line”, as Israel calls it, are taking a battering.
Israel has not been able to lift restrictions on public gatherings nor reopen schools.
This is building up pressure on Israeli politicians, who sounded very confident at the beginning of this war that things would return to normal soon.
Now, they’re talking about more extensions, possibly into April, but at the very least until the beginning of the Passover holiday on April 1.

Iran says it attacked bases in UAE, Kuwait
Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB says its naval forces destroyed facilities at the Al-Minhad base in the UAE and the Ali Al Salem airbase in Kuwait using ballistic missiles and drones.
In a statement posted on Telegram, IRIB said the strikes hit hangars and fuel tanks of what it described as “American-Zionist aircraft”, claiming the bases were used in attacks on Iranian territory.
The claims could not be independently verified. There has been no comment from Kuwait and the UAE.

I entertain the funny possibility that the USA may be "forcing"(delivering orders to it's slavish plants) to put out or join one sided condemnations of Iran. Just to close themselves to the possibility of claiming neutrality and therefore passage across Hormuz. For example South Korea and Japan are in some of the biggest shit because of Hormuz closing to them.

>idealistic leninism
No, Lenin does not believe that the theories are pre-existent and that they must precede practice. Lenin is writing at a time in which people had already, in relatively living memory, had already seen multiple upheavals, sabotages, and strikes that had ended in failures worse than what we see now. To ignore the simple issue of the context in which Lenin is writing is an absurdity. Lenin was writing from the position of seeing these issues having happened, many within his lifetime. And, importantly, so too had the people to which he was writing. They had lived through witnessing these failures. Lenin was not 'informing them of the failure, they simply could already see it happen. Lenin was helping them interpret the information and give them rise to understanding the necessary methods of overcoming the failures''.

From where did he get the theory? Why did the populace accept them when he wrote them?

Iran’s Gulf relations depend on US military presence: Analyst
Zohreh Kharazmi, an associate professor at the University of Tehran, says Iran is willing to maintain friendly relations with Gulf states, but only if their territory is not used for military operations against it.
Speaking to Al Jazeera, she said the use of Saudi airspace and facilities for refuelling bombers and launching attacks on Iranian cities was a key concern.
Kharazmi also pointed to the role of US Central Command operations in the Gulf, including the deployment of missile-launching systems such as HIMARS, and the integration of countries like Bahrain into US military activities.

Israel intensifies strategy to weaken Tehran’s government amid US support
There are two feelings in Israel we should take into account: The government, which wants to collapse the system in Tehran and wants to create as much damage as it can while Trump is on board in this war.
So they’re targeting police, police stations and checkpoints – they want to destroy the foundation of the system, and they’re going to escalate that as long as the US is still on board.
And then you have the public, which generally supports the war but has had to go to the shelters five times in the past seven hours alone.
From Tel Aviv southwards in the past few minutes, we heard reports of a direct impact on a building that was heavily damaged in Dimona.

People haven’t been able to go back to work or to send their kids back to school for almost a month now.
The Israeli decision-makers feel like the more they can do this damage, the more they can assert their policy and their posture, which is that Israel must be the only remaining hegemonic military power in the region.

Without changing Iran’s government, US will have ‘failed’
Phillips O’Brien, chair of strategic studies at the University of St Andrews, says anything short of dismantling Iran’s system of governance will effectively amount to defeat for the US.
“If at the end of this, the US goes home and leaves in power the present regime in Iran, which will be even more anti-American and will probably move even closer to countries like China and Russia, that will be a failure,” he told Al Jazeera.
“They will have thrown everything they can at Iran and fundamentally not changed the regime. They would have destroyed parts of its power, but it will rebuild.
“If we see Iran with the same basic ruling group at the end of this, that is a failure by the USA.”

She also indicated that she targeted a Merkava tank at 2:15 PM in the vicinity of Naqoura municipality with a guided missile, which resulted in a direct hit, while the occupation forces worked to withdraw it under cover of thick smoke.

Since March 3, the Israeli occupation has been waging a continuous aggression against various regions of Lebanon, leaving hundreds of martyrs and wounded, and causing damage and destruction in residential areas.

>An inevitable and natural step, I have said—and I hasten to make the reservation: if only we do not permit ourselves to depart by a single step from the impending and pressing task of assisting these masses, who have already begun to rise, to act more boldly and concertedly; of giving them not a couple but dozens of open-air speakers and leaders; of creating a real, militant organisation capable of guiding the masses, and not a so-called “combat organisation” that guides elusive individuals (if it does guide them at all). That this is a difficult task goes without saying, but we can quite justifiably adapt Marx’s words which have so frequently and so ineptly been quoted of late, and say: “Every step of real movement is more important than a dozen” individual attempts and cases of resistance, more important than a hundred organisations and “parties” belonging only to the intelligentsia.

>Can one, however, deny that in the abstract a new phase of capitalism to follow imperialism, namely, a phase of ultra-imperialism, is "thinkable"? No. In the abstract one can think of such a phase. In practice, however, he who denies the sharp tasks of to-day in the name of dreams about soft tasks of the future becomes an opportunist. Theoretically it means to fail to base oneself on the developments now going on in real life, to detach oneself from them in the name of dreams. There is no doubt that the development is going in the direction of a single world trust that will swallow up all enterprises and all states without exception. But the development in this direction is proceeding under such stress, with such a tempo, with such contradictions, conflicts, and convulsions-not only economical, but also political, national, etc., etc.-that before a single world trust will be reached, before the respective national finance capitals will have formed a world union of "ultra-imperialism," imperialism will inevitably explode, capitalism will turn into its opposite.

6 dead 100 injured in missile strike in Arad

I work in Germoney as a slave migrant worker, and I have many migrant fellow workers who happen to be Muslims (Albanians, Syrians, Macedonians).

I asked each whose side they are on in this conflict and 100% said Iran.

The most pleasent surprise came from this Albanian (from Macedonia) zoomer. He clearly has no idea about geopolitics, but he summed it up as such:
>Israel kills kids, dude!

>>2749157
>>2749165
So with the U.S. and Israel running out of interceptors, and Iran apparently having a large stockpile of missiles, will we see a sudden spike in casualties from Israel? Cause without an ability to intercept most missiles I don't see how they remain safe unless the entire country grinds to a halt and shelters in place for weeks.

Additionally, assuming Hamas' capabilities aren't entirely defeated, could Iran accurately target the walls around Gaza and force the Israelis to deal with an insurgency that has an even greater freedom of movement? I know that's expecting a lot given what the Palestinians of Gaza have gone through, but it seems like greater internal chaos within Israel is the best opportunity of reversing the Nakba.

imperialism is extraterritorial expansion driven by the falling rate of profit under domestic monopoly conditions of technological saturation necessitating external investment to overcome the ratio of organic composition of capital

https://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1916/imp-hsc/imperialism.pdf

>>2749240
But the setting is late 19th century hungary…. fine, Ill watch it whatever

>>2749264
>This statement encapsulates a classic Marxist-Leninist theory of imperialism, most famously associated with Vladimir Lenin’s Imperialism, the Highest Stage of Capitalism (1917):

>1. Falling rate of profit – In Marxist theory, the tendency for the rate of profit to fall arises from rising “organic composition of capital” (the ratio of constant capital, i.e., machinery and raw materials, to variable capital, i.e., labor). As technology advances, more capital is invested in means of production relative to labor, which is the sole source of surplus value. This depresses the overall rate of profit unless countervailing forces intervene.

>2. Domestic monopoly conditions & technological saturation, In advanced capitalist economies, markets become dominated by monopolies or oligopolies. Technological innovation reaches a point where further domestic investment yields diminishing returns because markets are saturated and opportunities for profitable reinvestment shrink. This intensifies competitive pressures and accelerates the profit‑rate decline.

>3. Extraterritorial expansion (imperialism), To counteract the falling profit rate, capital seeks outlets abroad: cheaper labor, untapped markets, raw materials, and opportunities to export capital. This outward push is not merely commercial but often involves state‑backed political and military intervention to secure favorable conditions, hence “extraterritorial expansion.”

>4. Overcoming the organic composition of capital, By investing in regions with lower organic compositions (i.e., less advanced technology and cheaper labor), capitalists can achieve higher profit rates than at home, thereby temporarily compensating for the domestic decline. This external investment also helps export surplus capital that cannot find profitable use domestically.

>The statement thus presents imperialism as a structural necessity of late‑stage capitalism, not merely a political choice. It remains a foundational framework for analyzing historical and contemporary patterns of global capital expansion.

Oil futures markets will open in ~24 hours.
