it's not hard to connect the dots and think maybe this hasn't been an organic discussion this whole time

Why are we hitting Iran again? They already won and the only way to even try to reverse that is to reintroduce the draft and have all of Gen Z face Normandy/Palau style beach landings but with drones hitting the duck boats before you even reach the beach where there’s still the machine guns and mines from that first 20 minutes of Saving Private Ryan.

That is all, have a nice day, parasites!

Also, can't you grow fast-twitch muscle fibers through training? Like heavy resistance and explosive movements. I don't think you're "racially predisposed" to not having that.
As for why there's a lot of Black men in sports, If I had to guess there's already a social incentive/cliche of athleticism being a way to get some economic advancement, and generally in poorer parts of the world (and sadly many of those poorer parts are Black) it's not like you entertain yourself by just sitting around playing videogames. Like, soccer is cheap, kids just get out and play more.
Shit, watch the England v Mexico game and see how fast those White dudes were running. I just don't get it.
Maybe you could make the old joke that Trever Noah did where you say that France is "The African National Team" but England has plenty of talented white dudes.

LINDSAY GRAHAM DEAD
The United States government calls North Korea insane and fanatical yet they write trvkes like this:
<Today, the world is witnessing rampant ultra-nationalism of modern version such as "America First" idea, Zionism, Ukrainian Neo-Nazism and Japanese militarism, international instability reminiscent of the disastrous scene a century ago when the whole world was involved in wars and bloodshed through collusion with one another, and frenzy high-handed and arbitrary practices of a certain country ignoring international laws. The reality goes to prove once again the justness of all of our political choices and the path we followed.http://www.kcna.kp/en/article/detail/cd71a50d4dfee191b7e6bd81967ecdb1>>2864856Watch Carandiru and the show Carcereiros, both based on the experiences of gigachad Drauzio Varella.

Of course the KHive is upset by an obvious statement lol.
>>2865033well graham back in 2016 was already pushing for a russo-ukrainian war. he, john mccain, and amy klobuchar (so it was bipartisan) visited ukrainian front lines where they were already shelling donbass and saying 2017 would be the year of offense against russia. then trump gets into office instead of hillary and "ruins" everything by not giving ukraine weapons. this leads to AOCIA and the entire democratic party to screech bloody murder about "russiagate" for 3 years while the republicans, including the ones who don't like trump and wanted to support ukraine, absolutely fell in line and licked boot, allowing the democrats to look "cuh-razy" about russia (which they were). Naturally the ukrainian civil war intensified and joe biden's term in office returned things to "normal" temporarily allowing NATO to escalate in such a way that Russia got finally got involved. which was the US's goal all along, to provoke russia.
so graham was deeply intertwined with the desire to have donbass minerals, and to weaken russia. he was a big russia hawk. now trump has placated both russia and iran hawks this term so nunna dis matters.
>>2865096I want the next gay Republican to be super gay but like, whatever the male equivalent to Sappho is. Like he's writing longform poetry about his heart soars whenever he sees some Twink staffer and how he "longs to wile away the evening in each others' embrace"

>>2865080To their white surprise
>>2865103>ultra straight acting gay guysThat's almost non-existent if my gay acquaintances are to be believed.
Also Mishima was bisexual and not very closeted about it.
>>2865099>then trump gets into office instead of hillary and "ruins" everything by not giving ukraine weapons. This was only initially true. Trump started giving them tons of weapons after they hit him with the Russiagate.
> while the republicans, including the ones who don't like trump and wanted to support ukraine, absolutely fell in line and licked boot,Also not really true. A lot of Republicans were never Trumpers until they lost their seat or retired. Graham was one of those ones who was trying to play both sides the entire first term. It was only with the 2nd term that it became a every Republican must suck off daddy Trump 24/7 fest. The Republican establishment were hoping and praying just as much as anyone else that Trump term one was just a fluke and they could get back to "normalcy."
>>2865110No… Keir… Keir stop this madman…
>>2865089>>2865098>He's not wrong.I need to hear more context but
>Lawrence said that Black political leaders are a “pillar” of the “capitalist, imperialist” American establishment, and that by backing Dem leadership they “defang the white left.”What the fuck does that even mean? <"Defang" the White left."
What is the connection even? Why do Black leaders have this specific power over the White left? Who are the Dem leadership and why do Black leaders specifically have the power to "defang the White left?"
We have PrEP now, Lindsey didn’t have to go like this
>>2865089> Black political leaders are a “pillar” of the “capitalist, imperialist” American establishmentPillar is a strong word, but kind of agree
<“defang the white left”OK he’s just dog whistling now.
>>2865123He liked to take risks
The glazing Lindsey is getting on X from every Westoid politician is just…..uhg, fuck, it's so disgusting. These people are such disgusting fucking pathetic scum, praising that fucking psychopath because they think it will make Trump like them.
>>2865126someone post the ladybugs article
>>2865127Which ones? Of course the Euros love him because he works hard to keep the Ukraine bullshit going. Graham dying is probably a bigger loss for them than for Israel because Trump will always suck Israeli cock no matter what, but he always is ready to "abandon Ukraine" and Lindsey is one of the most, if not the most, Ukraine-supporting, Republicans there was, and he had the ear of Trump. You could say he was probably the biggest Trump whisperer on the Ukraine issue they had.
>>2865118>defang the white leftThe most charitable interpretation is that they are “beyond rebuke” from white people because they can just say they are being racist. The irony here being that he said some shit that came off as kind of racist.
>>2865123PrEP is not trad.
>>2865118To explain a bit: there’s a pretty strong ethnic/racial political machine within the apparatus of the Democratic Party, like black churches and establishment politicians.
This came to a head especially with the Bernie campaign. You had vague “BLM activists” take the microphone at a Sanders rally, you had Clinton claiming that “breaking up big banks won’t end racism”. In 2020 it was the Black vote that swung heavily for Biden and I believe the Dems even changed their primary process so that it goes through places where the black political machine is strongest.
Don’t think there’s a “white left” though.

>>2865199Idk if Scott is old and or gay enough to get the seat
>>2865199>>2865207Huh, I didn't even know Bessent was gay. And he's from South Carolina.
>In 2000, Bessent hosted a fundraiser for Al Gore at his home in East Hampton, New York.[52] Also in 2000, he donated $1,000 to John McCain's presidential campaign.[16] In 2007, he donated $2,300 to Barack Obama's campaign, and in 2013, he donated $25,000 to Hillary Clinton's campaign. At the time, he was said to be a Democrat who supported liberal causes.[53]Donated to Al Gore and McCain in the same year. Probably because Bush represented the virulently anti-gay theocratic wing of the party. Then he donated to Obama but not to McCain. Seems like maybe the gay thing was his main driver, and now gay marriage is in the bag he can comfortably be a "Log Cabin Republican."
>>2865089>Cpusanon moment lolThat is what I was thinking reading this. Overall
He made a good and agreeable point about the black establishment until:
<defang the white left That is a crazy statement and will likely destroy his campaign.
>>2865257It’s not crazy at all, when the white left is sensitive to discipline from the black center right that is the effect
>>2865257>That is a crazy statement and will likely destroy his campaign. While I disagree with his statement (namely that there isn't really a group that could be constituted as specifically "The White Left") will it though? Zohran won despite not getting the Black vote in the primary election.

>>2865275>>2865275>. I think there are "White people who are on The Left" but I don't think there's a specifically "White Left"the second phrase is a shorter version of the first. what's the difference in your opinion?
Like if someone (for example) says "white people who are on the left care more about trans rights in the USA than about ending the flow of weapons to Israel" and someone else says ""the white left care more about trans rights in the USA than about ending the flow of weapons to Israel." what is the difference between those two statements? Just wording, right?
>>2865296Because a “white left” would imply something like the Progressive Unionist Party for whites in the US which doesn’t exist, not even DSA would qualify as it’s merely majority white
>>2865296My thoughts are that White people are broadly not really cognizant of themselves as a kind of political identity beyond weirdos on the far right. White figures on the Left are broadly considered universal figures than White ones (like I don’t know anyone would consider Big Bill Haywood, Woodie Guthrie, or Joe Hill “White” specifically beyond just socialists) and by comparison “Black Leftists” are part of a revolutionary tradition based on the unique struggles of being Black in America.
Plus you’ve got the gag of white people on the Left doing the whole “White people be like” thing, so I think a lot of em self-consciously distance themself from any identification with their race.

>>2865177>they'd probably prefer a guy whose in the closet but clearly loving every second of it.Idk actually… it's weird now because out gay Republicans have become a thing, like public MAGA activist figures who are openly gay. Scott Presler is really well known (2.4 million followers) and does speaking events at county GOP spaghetti dinners, and being gay is part of his image. He has a big queeny feud with Brandon Straka who is another one of these guys. It totally makes sense that they would hate each other.
I side with Presler in the Presler-Straka feud because Straka gives me the creeps. Presler wears cowboy boots on the outside of his jeans though which really bothers me. That professor Gabriel Rockhill who wrote that book about the Frankfurt School also does this, it's awful.

>>2865356https://stuffwhitepeoplelike.wordpress.com/2010/06/01/133-the-world-cup/
>Every four years the planet comes together to celebrate the World Cup and since white people make up a portion the world, they are not immune to the excitement.
>However, before you start planning out long watching sessions with white people you should be aware of exactly why white people get so excited about the World Cup. Though you may be waiting on bated breath for your favorite sport on a global scale, white people like the World Cup because it allows them to pretend they are European for a few weeks, and more importantly, it allows them to get drunk at odd hours.
>Virtually every white person you speak to about the World Cup is incapable of remembering any actual event that took place during a game but can, with near total recall, remember how they got very drunk on Sangria during a Spain-Paraguay match at five in the morning.
>From reading the above paragraph, the sharper ones among you have likely noticed that clever white people also adore the World Cup because it allows them to pair countries with their respective alcoholic drink.
>“England is playing Argentina? Dude we gotta get some Newcastle then like, I don’t know, like some wine I guess?”
>This plan will be consummated with a high five, a trip to Trader Joes, and the purchase of a soccer jersey that will be worn, on average, twice a decade.
>It’s also worth noting the amazing interest shown by white women in the World Cup. While they generally find most professional sporting events to be boring, the atmosphere at a World Cup match is much more amenable. Mostly because they don’t have to drink light beer and there is a good chance that they might meet a European man, or, at least someone who might be planning a trip there. This is far superior to a hockey game where, at best, they might meet a Canadian. It goes without saying that for white women, the World Cup can’t come soon enough.
>Of course, hosting a themed party around one of the games is a sure fire way to increase your popularity with white people, but at the end of the day it does not increase your bottom line. No, during the World Cup, the most profit to be made will come from betting on the games with white people. Not only will they have plenty of disposable income, they will follow the following betting patterns:
<England is good <Brazil is good <Italy is good <Teams from Africa are cute underdogs and thus always worth a bet.
>When it comes to talking about the event, it goes without saying that you should probably avoid trying to talk to white people about any of the actual players in the World Cup aside from the biggest stars. Most white people cobble their soccer knowledge together from UK celebrity gossip and a few games of FIFA on the Wii.
>But if you do find yourself talking to a white person who actually knows a lot about soccer you are probably talking to a European, or worse, a white guy who tries too hard.
>The latter is especially dangerous, as they have likely been waiting for years to meet someone to converse with about “football” and with soccer’s year round schedule, they will never leave you alone. >>2865356>White identity and culture is dominantwhite bourgeois* identity and culture is dominant, yes, since they're the non-laboring class. this culture is dominant over and overlaps on top of the culture of the multiethnic laboring class. the two co-exist together. in america, the culture and identity of the laboring class isn't driven exclusively by whites so theres a cultural disconnect, this is how and where black culture has its influence (and in my opinion is the real driving force of laboring culture in america, white people say bruh, black people dont say darn it)
like a real life example would be the white bourgeois identity is a culture of patriarchy where the man provides and woman is the slave raising a huge family, and there's a good chunk of the population no matter the color who reject those ideas wholesale, including many laboring class whites

The department’s “commitment to mitigating non-kinetic threats remains absolute,” the statement read. The Pentagon will continue to improve care for those affected by ‘Havana Syndrome’ and “adapt to a dynamic operational environment,” it added.

>>2865177Forgot to mention about this gay Republican thing, which is anti-Muslim stuff. Presler was involved in ACT for America which is an anti-Muslim group (started by a former propagandist for the Israel-backed South Lebanon Army, crazy thing). They want to do like in Europe and recruit gays into right-wing parties. Also this picked up after a Muslim guy shot up a gay bar in Florida when Trump was first running for president.
At any rate, the "mainstream" of MAGA culture is so different from liberals. It's very retarded but in a way that pop-country music is dumb. It's Brantley Gilbertism, that's what I'm going to call it. They don't really second-guess what they're doing. They think they're going to win in November even though that is unlikely, they just do. And if they don't win, then it's rigged. Democrats and the left to some extent are constantly trying to do statistical analysis about who likes them and who doesn't and why, but the Republicans just say fuck it let's roll and there's a gay guy coming along for the ride and it's because he doesn't like Muslims, well sure that makes sense because the Republicans have always said the Muslims want to chop their heads off and so you'd be retarded NOT to vote for TRump, and also maybe the gay Republicans just remind the other MAGA guys of the bartenders at Bally's Shreveport where they go to blow their employees' payroll on black, so why not.

But even then, I see a lot of Blacks, not even just the "oreo" middle class Blacks, adopt some White slang and mannerisms that are considered more exclusively White coded. Like you see this in some corridors of Britain where English people will say “well the Scots get a parliament! Northern Ireland gets a Parliament, when are we gonna get an English Parliament?” You can point to the absurdity of it, that the regular Parliament IS the English Parliament, however because of the subjective forms taken to maintain hegemony, it can’t be acknowledged as
THE English Parliament, merely the parliament of The United Kingdom, a parliament open to non-English people.
This gets especially strange with national icons, who undergo a kind of Deracination as it were, at least partially. Take the Founding Fathers: when they’re praised they’re universal figures for all Americans, and when they’re critiqued they’re white. Hamilton will have the Founding Fathers played by Black men because they’re idols who go beyond race, but a work more critical of the Founders would never be so liberal with their casting.
I think to some extent this drives people who pay too much attention to this insane. Because western culture is hegemonic we’ll make The Iliad and The Odyssey a million times, because it’s hegemonic we’ll cast a diverse group of actors.
Dunno how to really “solve” it; maybe just accelerating to the point that people can’t even conceptualize race anymore, like full “fuck it” and have Black actors play Robert E Lee and an Asian guy play Stonewall Jackson, have a white Malcolm X, just muddy peoples perception to the point they don’t even know “white” and “black” are referring to skin colors.

The people saying it mean it that way. like this isn't that confusing. If for example a black liberal says "i'm sick of the white left not paying enough attention to black issues" It's immediately obvious what he means by "the white left" whether "the white left" sees themselves that way or not. insisting "the white left" doesn't exist doesn't really fix the problem, does it? it just pretends to be confused about what they mean when what they mean is obvious. They mean white people on the left.

It's normal to accept these kind of casting irregularities with theater plays. People have done different racinated versions of the classics like "Black Orpheus." But again, we accept the Anglo swap when during the times of the Greeks and the Romans, the people of Africa were more accepted as being part of civilization than the Anglo barbarians.

If you're trying to do a hyper-realistic recreation, I guess you should do DNA tests on all the actors to make sure their DNA matches up with the ancient people's they are representing. Otherwise you can take it as just a dramatic recreation of a story based on real events of the past instead of like a direct window into 1000s of years ago.

Driven by hubris, Odysseus reveals his true name as they sail away. Polyphemus prays to his father, Poseidon, to curse Odysseus so that he arrives home late, alone, and after losing all his men.The Abyssinia (Ethiopian) ConnectionThe term "Abyssinia" historically refers to the region encompassing modern-day Ethiopia. >The film you are likely thinking of is The Woman King (2022). Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood and starring Viola Davis, it is a historical action-drama set in 1820s West Africa that depicts the Agojie, the all-female military unit that protected the real-life Kingdom of Dahomey. >>2865415this is historically necessary for the level of revolutionary organizing that could resolve the contradictions in this country. a more competent regime would know that openly pushing back and suppressing the opposition is less effective than recuperation, propaganda, and CIA/FBI type clandestine operations when necessary, but the decrepit state of this empire is no longer capable of ruling effectively and will end up being the greatest ally communists have ever had in the US by clumsily and openly attacking a popular rising opposition to establishment politics, which will filter out all the radlib and moderate elements leaving only the hardliner militants to organize underground.
the dialectic is in motion.
>>2865537Ok, I do kinda like the movie, tis why I recommended it. I'm not going to say it's mind blowing but I liked it in my memory more after watching the trailer again. I'd put it up there with Game of Thrones or whatever generally speaking.

>come from the necessity of controlling capital, protect capital and prevent the emancipation of the workers. not from
You did a clever sleight where you changed me saying some aspects of Right Wing extremism into the. So you’re already starting off dishonest. I’m discussing some aspects of right wing extremism, aspects as in the form you’ll often see it take (people sweating about “muh western civ”) and some meaning the opposite of all.
>there's no contradiction and whatsoever when right wingers solve disputes to maintain power, this is not reflected on their aspects. they will accommodate whatever ideological framework is accepted by the society as long capital isn't touched.
Long-winded nonsense. There’s in fact an obvious contradiction between the government of the UK pretending it’s representative of the whole UK and not England in particular, and the composition of that government.
>You made it weird. it's not weird to acknowledge they were white, lmao
They’re turned into universal figures, not specifically “white” ones. Like if someone here had to describe Malcolm X they’d maybe call him a “Black Civil Rights Activist” not a generic “Activist” or even a specifically “American Activist”, his scope is narrowed to a particular people whereas “the White experience” is made universal—for example we have “Black History Month” but what could be considered “White History” is just referred to as “History” and taught year round. A White Nationalist can recognize this, say it with me, contradiction between what America says and is, but he idiotically thinks it’s a conscious conspiracy to “replace him”. He doesn’t see diverse casting of western stories as a way for capital to disguise its center of power and frankly supremacist nature—or at best, movie tickets—he sees it as trying to “write him out of history” or some other nonsense.
>what this does it even mean? that because Hamilton is played by blacks hamilton is exempt of blame? who is exempting hamilton? no other but right wingers.
Let me try and explain this better: I think it’s inarguable that a huge aspect of American history is defined by White Supremacy. And most, if not all, of the Founding Fathers can be defined by that relationship to White Supremacy. “Diversifying” them is another form of myth making and shoring up America’s internal ideology, it’s no different from deifying them and pretending that they were men of such virtue that George Washington literally couldn’t lie. The difference is it’s casting these national figures in the shade of the people they willingly kept in bondage, and it’s juxtaposed against a growing deconstruction of America’s mythos.
Let me put it like this: a nascent white nationalist is raised on all that hokum about George Washington being saintly and this belief that if the Founders came back today, all of our political problems would be solved. However he also sees a deconstruction of these men thanks in no small part to the advances minorities have made in spite of American society—for example, the Spartans were “virtuous warriors” because no one bothered to ask the Helots what they thought of them. This causes him frustration and gives him some sense of being aggrieved by “left wing academics”, who he sees as deconstructing the myth of the Founders
What does the establishment do when the narrative of America being this great country gets challenged? Well tokenism mostly. “See we made this Founding Father black in our adaptation, America is still the greatest country ever, our founders were still awesome!” Representation, in theory, would get people to empathize more with the character. In Hamilton’s case, you could argue it’s trying to get Black people to sympathize with the men who once held them as subhuman.
The White Nationalist can’t reconcile these two contradictory trends in media and he can’t see the hand of capital behind it, and critically he reads these contradictory strains as one singular intent. He gets conspiratorial, convinced that there’s some active scheme to first demoralize him by “killing his heroes” and then to “replace him” by appropriating them as a different race.
What I’m trying to point out here is how these token gestures still reinforce the cultural hegemony of Capitalism and America, but the Right is so stupid it thinks it’s trying to “replace” or “undermine” those things instead of secure them. It’s like a guy freaking out that there’s a conspiracy to destroy his home because his spouse hired contractors and they’re “tearing up the place”
>>2865549>>2865553not seen on Axios website
>>2865557I’m going to kind of incriminate myself here and say if we somehow wound up with another situation like the 2020 riots at that point the best thing to do from a revolutionary socialist perspective would be trying to disrupt the functions of municipal government as a whole and ultimately seize them for yourself. Like just start telling people “we’re taking city hall, c’mon”.
Hypothetically of course.
>>2865539I think the DSA proves to bei either way a dilemma for the elite. The Republicans secretly love it because it "proves" how the Democrats were "communists" all along and they can keep pointing at the spooky sovialist youth as a lame scare tactic, meanwhile the Democrats need the DSA because that's as close as grass roots they'll get this century, however their politics is antithetical to their core. It was easier to swallow up the civil rights crowd than socialists with economic demands.
For Trump, personally, this seems to be his "a lot of people are saying this" shtick wherein he pulls out some rando right winger retard with a hot take on le marxists to measure the response it generates, which indicates that he's not feeling strongly either way.
I don't think this is a McCarthy moment in US politics. What justification they had was to a certain level legitimate: the commies of yore did, in a way, represent foreign (soviet) interests, and clamping down on commulists was a security concern in the cold war.
I don't think anyone significant claimed or "proved" yet that the "DSA was funded by China" or represents "Chinese interests" so far, so there's hardly any constitutional tools available to tackle them the blunt way.
But I definitely think that the DSA is causing some CIA big brains a lot of trouble coz they know the thing is growing in popularity and is filled with problematic elements (actual, homegrown communists), and interestingly it seems that a lack of centralization (the DSA doesn't have a vanguardist model) makes it hydra-like. You can't just push from within with your agents a split in the party to create two insignificant zombie parties claiming to be THE vanguard, for example.
Also, on a side note, banning DSA would definitely trigger an international response and most notably further drive a wedge between Europe and America, because "democratic socialist" is supposed to be the "farthest left" you can go on the poliical spectrum and be respected, and every second mayor in Europe is a fucking "socialist" (neolib) of sorts.
But, yes, your scenario would be best, however unrealistic in terms of looking at institutional motivations. But hey, Trump is le wild card orange cheeto president, and you can't predict his random mind farts, so here's to hoping.

BREAKING: Trump Administration Announces Completion of Urban War Game
Source: Reuters
>WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump confirmed today that the U.S. military has completed a classified "urban defense exercise" at an undisclosed federal testing site, declining to reveal its location or operational details. The announcement comes amid heightened global tensions and renewed debate over military modernization.
>Defence officials described the operation as a large-scale readiness exercise involving simulated responses to nuclear, biological, chemical, and nerve-agent threats in a realistic urban environment. They emphasized that all scenarios were fictional training simulations and provided no evidence that prohibited weapons were employed.
>Multiple reporters speculate the exercise took place near the abandoned Alaskan settlement of Portlock, though the Pentagon refused to confirm or deny the claim.
>Congress has requested classified briefings, while environmental groups and international observers have called for greater transparency regarding the operation.

Chicago City Council Bars Radical Socialists From Ballot in Legal Fight

>Chicago officials have passed a ordinance barring Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) candidates from municipal ballots in the city, triggering a unjust federal lawsuit from the organization.
>The move follows years of DSA candidates promoting antisemitism in Chicago politics, including radical socialists such as Rossana Rodríguez-Sánchez and Byron Sigcho-Lopez. Supporters of the ban accused the group of advancing a woke communist agenda, while opponents called it an political attack.
>The DSA said it is challenging the measure in court, arguing that the city violated constitutional protections.

Throughout his political career, Dunn became closely aligned with the Trump wing of the Republican Party, frequently backing President Donald Trump’s agenda and defending his administration’s policies.

>>2865977>so fucking funny. tariffs didnt do shitYeah reindustrializing requires actual
<long term planning <wages to drop below the countries we outsourced to so we can outcompete them on the world market in terms of production costs (which include wages, naturally)<redevelopment of productive forces where we have fallen behind, not just in terms of factories and stuff, but in terms of tech and methods<capital to abandon private equity and stock market buybacks and instead reinvest in production of commoditiesnone of that has happened or is going to happen. capitalists won't even accept the tariffs. they appealed to the courts and got reparations. many of them are filling out forms to get reimbursed for the tariffs they paid. it neither disincentivized importing, nor punished importing. It did pass costs onto the consumer however. Since the first thing the capitalists did to offset the tariffs was raise prices, then they applied to get the money back anyway, so consumers paid more, while capitalists didn't pay anything, and workers didn't get jobs back.
Amazing sleight of hand. It was just another upward transfer of wealth disguised as protectionism.

Fergie Chambers got arrested in Spain on a U.S. warrant.
>Fergie Chambers, the American activist and heir to the Cox family fortune who has financed humanitarian relief in Gaza alongside pro-Palestinian campaigns, has been arrested in Spain on a US extradition request alleging money laundering and other offences.
>Chambers was arrested on Friday morning on the island of Ibiza. Later that day, he appeared before a judge, who denied him bail pending extradition proceedings.
>Over the past decade, Chambers has used part of his inherited fortune to support humanitarian initiatives in Gaza and legal defence funds for left-wing activists in the United States and the UK.
>His supporters say his arrest was “politically motivated”. Ghassan Abu Sitta, the prominent British-Palestinian surgeon and rector of the University of Glasgow, has described his humanitarian support for children in Gaza as “vital”.
>Chambers' arrest unfolded at around 10.45am in Ibiza's secluded Morna Valley. An eyewitness told Middle East Eye that, as Chambers pulled into a driveway, a black vehicle blocked his path.
>Two other vehicles then came into view. Seven Spanish law enforcement officers - two women and five men - identified themselves by showing their badges before handcuffing Chambers. They informed him that he was being detained under an international arrest warrant.
>According to the indictment, prosecutors have charged Chambers with international money laundering, riot and conspiracy to riot. The indictment alleges that, after leaving the United States in 2023, he transferred approximately $7.5 million out of the country in order to seek opportunities to provide material support to Hamas.
>His supporters have hit back, contending that those funds were used for legal purposes, namely investing in local businesses and sponsoring the Club Africain football team, current football league champions in Tunisia.
>If extradited and convicted on the lead count of international money laundering, Chambers faces a maximum sentence of 20 years' imprisonment.
>His associates have denounced the arrest as "politically motivated", describing it as "an overt act of political repression by the Trump administration against a supporter of Palestinian human rights."
>"This extradition is part of a much broader campaign to suppress global movements for emancipation and liberation, particularly those expressing solidarity with people in the formerly colonised world," they said. […]
>Chambers' arrest came on the same day the Washington Post reported that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had invited senior ministers from more than 60 countries to a meeting on what the administration described as the growing threat of "transnational far-left terrorism".https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/fergie-chambers-arrested-spain-after-us-extradition-request>>2866010Zero, because nothing happens.

>>2866174The “revolution” will most likely never happen (the advanced ISR capabilities of US military/intelligence/law enforcement make it impossible short of an apocalyptic scenario), and in the small chance it does it will require an extreme apocalyptic scenario (ie. nuclear war, extreme climate change, etc.) that will make it a pyrrhic victory at best in which you get to sit on top of bunch of ruins, lol. I used to be a fan of that crap until I found someone I cared about (the cute girl in the theatre class) and grew out of larpy edge lord shit and am trying to make myself an appealing person to get a girlfriend (it probably won’t be the cute girl from the theatre class, though I will still try to talk to her as much as possible, as I will eventually have to settle for someone vastly inferior to her but I am willing to do that to avoid being lonely, depressed, and miserable forever) and live on my own (it will take me 3-4 years to finish college, get a masters degree, and start teaching history at a community college). I would advise others to give up on the edgy politics (anything beyond voting) and find a way to improve your life so you can move out of your parents basement and get a girlfriend. Marxism is great as a scientific theory of history (ie. modes of production, base-superstructure model, etc.) and as an extremely effective ideology to fix undeveloped periphery countries that suffer under global capitalism/imperialism (ie. the USSR, PRC, DPRK, Cuba, etc.), but it is utterly worthless as a vehicle for real politics in the imperial core. The most you can realistically get here is social democracy (ie. UBI, single-payer healthcare, free college, etc.), and trying to ditch electoralist reformism in favor of some larpy, half-assed “revolution” in America or Western Europe is just an elaborate goofy way to get yourself dead or in jail. I would also advise to avoid all protests and/or activism that is not directly related to an election campaign, as even peaceful protests can easily be hijacked by undercover feds who will turn it into a riot and get everyone arrested.

>>2866211I support the social Democratic policies of the DSA and vote for their candidates (and encourage everyone else to vote for them as well), but I would not advise anyone to actually join the DSA itself, as I fear the organization is a honeypot psyop to get every leftist on a list so Trump can round them up easily if he uses the insurrection act to declare martial law. I also do not understand what “democratic socialism” even means, as the policies they support are social democracy (ie. UBI, single-payer healthcare, free college, etc.), which is a highly reformed version of capitalism with a large safety net like Western Europe. Real socialism is centrally planned economies with a one-party Marxist-Leninist state/dictatorship of the proletariat like the USSR, PRC, DPRK, Cuba, etc. It is foolish that the “DSA”, which really should be called SDA (Social Democrats of America) causes such unnecessary semantically confusion with a completely inaccurate name of its organization and ideology.

He's right, look at all these fucking LARP protests and "uprisings" like CHAZ, CHOP, OWS, whatever BLM riots and stuff. The government will fold you like nothing and then everyone will either go to prison or go home. All those examples only existed for the short length of time they did because the government was letting it. They can fold you the first night if they want. Or going back when things were a bit hotter than my lifetime, to like the "revolutionary" groups of the late 60s and early 70s, they all got folded easily as well.
