Yemen’s Houthis claim attacks on Saudi oil tankers in Red Sea
Yemen’s Houthis say they carried out missile and drone strikes on two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea after declaring a maritime embargo on the kingdom.
In a statement posted on Telegram, the Houthis said that they “carried out a qualitative military operation targeting two Saudi oil tankers that violated the blockade”, naming the vessels as the Encelia and the Layla.
As we reported earlier, the UK’s Maritime Trade Operations centre said that it had received reports of a tanker being struck 70 nautical miles (130km) from Saudi Arabia’s town of Al Shuqaiq.
The Houthis announced a maritime blockade on Saudi Arabia earlier this week.

Oil prices climb to $96 a barrel
Oil prices are extending their gains, with Brent crude futures rising $1.93 as of 00:11 GMT, or 2 percent, to reach $96 a barrel, marking their highest level since June 8.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude went up $1.44, or 1.7 percent, to trade at $88.27.
The increases came after US forces launched a new round of strikes on Iran and Yemen’s Houthis attacked oil tankers in the Red Sea. In the previous session, Brent had settled more than $3 higher at $94.07 a barrel, while WTI rose nearly 3 percent on Wednesday.

Houthis claim attacks on 2 Saudi tankers in Red Sea
Two incidents have been reported in the Red Sea.
The UK Maritime Trade Operations centre said a ship was targeted 70 nautical miles (130km) off the Saudi coast, causing a fire on board. There is no mention of casualties among the crew.
The Houthis, meanwhile, claimed a major operation against two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea. One is called “Encelia”, and the other is called “Layla”.
The Houthis said they targeted those two tankers with a number of cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and drones at the same time, causing huge balls of fire on board those ships, and devastation, of course.
The Houthis framed the attack as part of a tit-for-tat campaign against Saudi Arabia. They’re calling it a “siege-for-siege”. They said it has been 12 years since Saudi Arabia has been imposing a siege on the Yemeni people, and that it is now time for Yemen and the Houthis to respond in kind.
This causes a major disruption to supply lines – this time, not in the Strait of Hormuz, but in the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, another key route for global energy supplies.

In spite of the Iranian government's anti-communism, past collaboration with the USA, and long term goals of the Iranian bourgeois it's an undeniable fact that this war is exacerbating the contradictions within the United States. The war is massively unpopular among Americans save for the few remaining loyal magacattle. The blockade of the Strait of Hormuz proving a massive disruption to the global economy, in addition to the renewed blockade of the Red Sea by Ansarallah. The US military is exhausting itself and is being forced to redeploy assets from other theaters such as the THAAD batteries from Korea. The opportunity to turn the imperialist war into civil war is getting closer. And yes, this war will leave the Islamic Republic in a precarious position as well. I hope whatever revolutionary forces that survived the crackdowns in January will be able to seize the moment as well.

Senior Iranian official responds to Rubio, threatens to escalate conflict
The chief of protocol in the Iranian president’s office has mocked comments by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and threatened to escalate the war on Tehran’s terms.
“Soon, it won’t be ‘an eye for an eye’ or ‘a head for an eye’, but ‘your whole damn body for an eye!’ This Isn’t Just Bluster,” Abbas Mousavi wrote in a post on X.
Earlier on Thursday, Rubio said the US military approach was “a head for an eye”, suggesting Washington would respond to any Iranian attacks by further escalating the conflict.
He made the comments after being asked about Tehran’s military policy, which Iranian officials have described as “an eye for an eye”, implying that Iran would respond to any US attacks in kind.

US weapon stocks could take 5 years to recover: former Pentagon official
Mark Cancian, a former Pentagon official, has told Al Jazeera that the US has used so many arms in the Iran war that it may have left itself vulnerable elsewhere.
‘We looked at seven munitions that have been used heavily against Iran and that would be used in a war in the Western Pacific, and [the US has] used between a third and half of those munitions,’ he said.
Cancian, who worked on the Department of Defense’s budget strategy and war funding while at the Pentagon, said it could take two to five years for US stockpiles just to reach pre-Iran war levels.
That leaves a ‘window of vulnerability’ in the case that another conflict starts elsewhere, for example, in Taiwan. He also said the kinds of weapons that the US uses are changing.
The war has already cost the US $37.5 billion, and this week, Pete Hegseth, the US Secretary of War, said he needs an extra $70 billion to pay for the Iran war and wider military readiness.
‘What you see in warfare is a move towards a high-low mix. There’s ballistic missiles, cruise missiles at the high end, and the low end is cheap drones. It’s a mix and they’re complementary,’ Cancian, who is now a senior adviser at the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies, said.
This drone arsenal includes sea drones—remote-controlled boats armed with significant amounts of explosives—which have reportedly been used by the US to attack coastal targets in Iran.

Iran: Revolutionary Guard announces destruction of US electronic warfare unit in Kuwait and warns Britain against using its bases for aggression.
The public relations department of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that its fighters, in the 26th wave of Operation "Nasr 2", destroyed the US special electronic warfare unit at the "Al-Adiri" base in Kuwait with joint attacks, and attacked a clinic belonging to it, resulting in the death or injury of a number of its members, in addition to damaging the air traffic control tower at the base and causing some damage to it.

The statement explained that this operation comes as a continuation of punishing the aggressor and responding to the crimes of the American army, which attacked the pilgrims’ route to the shrine of Imam Hussein at dawn on Thursday, where an American aggression on the Shalamcheh border crossing with Iraq had led to the martyrdom of two people and the injury of 11 others.

The Revolutionary Guard also pointed out that the United States is trying to create an opportunity to renew its forces through deception, evasion, and talk of returning to negotiations, stressing that the enemy must pay the price for breaking its promises, and the United States will not be allowed to replace its oil and ammunition reserves with a deceptive ceasefire and then resume its attacks.

The statement said the US military resorted to using B1 aircraft launched from the British Fairford airbase yesterday, after its ships in the Indian Ocean ran out of cruise missiles.

The Revolutionary Guard reiterated what Foreign Ministry officials had explained: that any base used to invade Iranian territory is a legitimate target.

The statement concluded by warning the British monarchy against bearing further responsibility, explaining that it is the main cause of the misfortunes of the peoples of the region, and has a dark record of dividing Islamic countries, committing massacres, imposing authoritarian governments, organizing and leading the occupation of Palestine and the establishment of the Nakba of "Israel," as well as its major participation in the recent aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran.

It is worth noting that earlier today, the Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the decision of the new British government to allow the United States to use its military bases and facilities to prepare for and facilitate illegal military attacks against the Iranian people.

The ministry also noted that "any participation or cooperation in preparing and carrying out these illegal attacks is considered complicity in committing the crime of aggression and war crimes."

Arab security sources told Al-Mayadeen that resistance factions targeted the ground forces command building in Kuwait.
High-ranking Arab security sources revealed to Al-Mayadeen that resistance factions targeted the ground forces command building in Kuwait on Thursday.
High-ranking security sources explained that these operations took place at 7:00 PM Kuwait time, and caused extensive damage to the building.
The sources indicated that the forces targeted in Kuwait had targeted the "Shalamcheh" border crossing between Iran and Iraq today, stressing that the resistance strikes came as a swift response to the aggression that targeted Iranian and Iraqi civilians at the crossing.
It is worth mentioning that on Thursday morning, an American attack targeted the "Shalamja" border crossing with Iraq, which resulted in the martyrdom of two people and the injury of 11 others.

>Over the past few days, the US/Israeli/GCC (“US Axis” from here on) war against Iran has reached a pace not seen since the opening hours of the conflict. Waves of Iranian missiles and drones have been striking targets across the region, with an apparent shift in target selection concentrating unprecedented amounts of Iranian firepower against Kuwait and Jordan.

>The war between the US Axis and Iran can be arbitrarily divided into several theaters. There’s the war for control over the Strait of Hormuz, countervalue strikes against infrastructure, Iran’s campaign against Kurdish proxies staging for ground operations on its western flank, and so on. Today we’ll be focusing on a narrow slice of the conflict: the air war, with IRGC missile and drone forces (IRGCASF) on one side and the USAF, IAF, and GCC air forces on the other. As we’ll see, this theater of the war has profound implications that cut across all other areas of the conflict.

>The broad picture of the Iranian air war in this phase has been a steady wave of concentrated missile and drone strikes sweeping its way across the region. In contrast to the previous hot phase of the war, in which Iran targeted bases across the entire theater simultaneously, this wave started with the targets close to Iranian shores, and has progressed steadily to the Israeli border. After destroying much of the radar network protecting regional US Axis bases in the previous hot phase of the war, Iranian planners have prioritized targeting fuel storage, drone hangers, refueling tankers, and barracks. The American response has been to pull assets back ever further from Iran, to bases in Israel and Jordan. We’ll call this process debasification. Iran’s debasification strategy takes advantage of the inherent asymmetry between the vastly different force structure and capabilities of Iranian rocket forces and US Axis air forces.

>The first asymmetry we’ll cover is the American need for casualty avoidance. Political support for the war is low, and US narratives to shore it up hinge on overwhelming American superiority and a perception of the war presenting minimal risk. Casualties and the loss of major assets fly in the face of this narrative and erode support for the war. The Department of War clearly takes this seriously, as evidenced by their decision to evacuate the most vulnerable bases (moving personnel to hotels) before the war began. When the US force in the region has taken major risks by leaving valuable assets in the open at bases subject to Iranian targeting, the results have been disastrous, with the loss of near-irreplaceable assets like the E-3 Sentry destroyed on the tarmac at Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. Iranian military sources claimed to have damaged refueling tankers on the ground at Al Udeid in Qatar, Al Kharj in Saudi Arabia, and Muwaffaq Salti in Jordan in a single wave of attacks on Friday.

>Multiple US personnel were killed and as many as dozens injured two days ago in an Iranian missile attack on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. Subsequent disclosures from the New York Times revealed that this was the fourth Iranian attack on Jordan to result in casualties and major losses of air assets in the previous week. A strike on King Faisal Air Base days prior wounded five, and another attack on a base—unidentified by the NYT but confirmed by mappers to be Prince Hassan Air Base—damaged multiple Black Hawk helicopters on the ground. Then, 20 personnel were wounded in an attack on Muwaffaq Salti on the 16th. The attack that killed at least two US personnel occurred the next day.

>The Iranians have thus forced American planners into an uncomfortable choice. Jordan was the clear fallback point for assets that previously operated out of bases closer to Iran in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE. But Jordanian bases are not safe, with the US taking dozens of casualties and losing an unknown number of air assets in the span of just five days. Footage of Iranian MRBM strikes within Jordan reveals an appallingly low interception rate for US and Jordanian air defenses, even when interceptors are expended in 3:1 ratios and above against incoming projectiles. Official Jordanian attempts to cover this up by claiming 100% interception rates have been conclusively disproven by such a mountain of visual evidence and reporting they can be dismissed out of hand.

>The next line of bases for US air forces to fall back to is within Israel itself. While falling back to Israel will bring US assets within the protective range of Israeli air defenses, it isn’t clear that the Israelis want any part in this phase of the war. There’s also little reason to think they’ve been able to replenish their own interceptor stocks in the brief pause in the fighting, and the IDF was facing a crisis in that area before the pause. Even when interceptors were more plentiful, the Israelis were unable to fully protect their own airbases.

>The US force in the region losing access to both the first and second lines of airbases available to it at the start of the conflict is a development with profound strategic and operational consequences. Depending on how you slice it, the number of airbases from which the US would likely conduct operations against Iran prewar was around 20. Without access to bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, KSA, and Jordan, that number will be cut to around five. This will compress hundreds of airframes into just a handful of tarmacs and runways, making it impossible to get those assets into the air in the time between early warning radars detecting an Iranian MRBM launch and that missile impacting its target in Israel. With more assets on the tarmac, the Iranians are much more likely to score hits. As the Pentagon moves more assets into the region to stage for a potential ramp-up in attacks on Iran, this issue will compound.

>Enter a second asymmetry: the US Axis depends on aerial refueling to generate combat power, and the distance that makes Israeli bases safer to conduct operations from undercuts refueling missions. Tankers that could have met attack aircraft for refueling missions directly over their takeoff point at Al Udeid in Qatar, for example, will now have to fly over a thousand miles to reach the southern border of Iran, and even farther if they want to avoid dangerous airspace over Iraq. This puts stress on airframes, sucks up fuel, and reduces the number of refueling missions that can be flown. These distances become extreme when considering that tankers may have to meet attack aircraft launched from carriers operating as much as 1,700 miles away from Israel in the Arabian Sea. The retreat to Israel effectively divides the US forces in the region in two, splitting USAF assets in Israel from USN assets off the coast of Oman.

>The key to the American air campaign has always been to degrade Iranian air defenses to the point that cheap and plentiful glide or even gravity bombs can be used against targets in Iran. Dwindling stocks of long-range cruise missiles make this a necessity. To accomplish this, American air forces have to conduct Suppression/Destruction of Enemy Air Defenses (S/DEAD) operations, which require long loiter times with aircraft remaining in the air to respond to ISR and emissions from air defense radars. These missions are exceptionally dependent on tanker support, so any degradation of US tanker operations in turn degrades American S/DEAD capabilities.

>By all available evidence, the Iranian debasification campaign appears to be working. The US force in the region is likely incapable of generating the same combat power in its air operations against Iran as it could when the war started, and things are trending ever further in a negative direction. Even worse, there’s no clear solution on the horizon. The most obvious lever for American planners to pull is to accept more casualties and losses of personnel and airframes, but this is an unprecedented step the modern incarnation of the US military has never faced.

>I do think that politically it would be much easier for anybody but trump to take a pretty bad deal, if dressed up a bit, just for the sake of ending it and mitigating losses. I feel like the Korean peninsula and Taiwan is more important to many.

I'm not so sure. I don't think Washington as a whole can take the prospect of an out and out defeat, which is what the result would be however its dressed up. It's particularly serious now that the Iranians are signaling they'll accept nothing less than total bugerreich capitulation, especially after going to all the trouble of signing the mou only for US to double cross them.

Now Iran is materially effecting the evacuation of the US from the Middle East. So for the US, the only choices are to give in to Iran's demands and leave the middle east, or keep fighting iran and be forced out. There might have been some possibility for compromise earlier in the war, but Washington blew it with their repeated acts of perfidy.

Taiwan and Korea are really important to the US's long term goals, but there is no Taiwan or Korea without Tehran first. Kiev is already a bust, and it's only a matter of time before that front folds. It looks like Nato was trying to do the prep work to continue that on the central Asian front, but that's dead in the water if Tehran is still independent. Worse yet for Washington, if they were to capitulate on Iranian terms, they'd basically be handing over control of the middle east to them, and with that war against China is a non-starter.

It's tragic, because surrendering now and giving Iran everything it wants would probably be best for everyone involved. As things are, there's no way out of this that isn't going to end in the suffering of millions of people on every side. I don't see it ending without the launch of one or more nuclear weapons, likely by Istael, which will be atrocities but not destroy Iran. Iran will destroy Israel for it though, and after that there's no telling what will happen.

US prepares potential escalation as Trump warns Iran ‘not ready for a deal just yet’
The US president is weighing his options for something even larger, given the fact that there have been 13 nights of consecutive strikes.
The question becomes whether this is going to be more of the same, or whether the United States is ramping up.
We know that there has been a surge of forces as well as weaponry into the region, and White House official telling me that talks are continuing with Iran, but at the same time, she says, that the cards are on the table for the president, and he has all the options at his disposal.
Now, what I can tell you is that it appears that the United States may be considering an escalation to force a negotiated settlement.
The US media reporting the President is close to a decision on a potential massive attack and military preparations are in place, but the US President also, with his words on Thursday, signaling that there is something potentially looming, given the fact that he said, Iran is not ready to make a deal just yet, but they may be soon.

Crude prices were on track for weekly increases on Friday following Houthi strikes on Red Sea oil tankers, which raised fears over the potential closure of another key maritime passage.
The market was further tightened as Kazakhstan temporarily reduced production after its primary export pipeline was taken offline.

Brent crude futures dropped 72 cents, or 0.72%, to $99.97 a barrel as of 01:26 GMT, though the benchmark remained set for a 13.5% gain over the week. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude declined 70 cents, or 0.76%, to $91.49 a barrel, pointing toward a 10.9% weekly increase.
Both benchmarks surged during the previous session, with Brent settling 7% higher and WTI gaining 6.2% on Thursday.
It marked the first time Brent closed above $100 since May, following claims by Iran-aligned Houthi forces that they had targeted two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.

Iran attacks US bases in Jordan, Bahrain while US expands attacks across Iran
The Iranian army has just released a statement saying that they have launched drones over the US bases in Jordan and Bahrain in response to US attacks on targets in Iran.

In Bahrain, fuel storage tanks, large equipment warehouses, hangars and living quarters are being targeted at Sheikh Isa Airbase, which Iran describes as a “terrorist” US army base.

Iran has also attacked the aircraft shelters, maintenance hangars and living quarters at the Al-Azraq US Airbase in Jordan.

It says these attacks were launched in response to the overnight US attacks.

The US has targeted seven Iranian provinces, including the southern provinces of Sistan-Baluchestan and Khuzestan. Four people were also killed in the city of Ahvaz, in Khuzestan.

The US is expanding its attacks beyond the southern provinces, targeting the central Markazi, Yazd and Isfahan provinces, as well as the western Lorestan and southern Fars provinces.

Basically, the Americans are shifting from the southern part of the country to Iran’s central, inner lands.

Kuwait says air defences intercepting ‘hostile drones’
Kuwait’s air defences are confronting “attacks by hostile drones, following the sinful Iranian aggression,” the army has said in a statement.
The army said that “any explosion sounds, if heard, are the result of air defense systems intercepting the hostile attacks”.

A breakdown of the most recent attacks on countries in the region
KUWAIT
Iran’s army says it launched projectiles towards the Ali Al Salem Air Base, which is used by US forces, claiming to have destroyed an ammunition depot and inflicted casualties among US personnel.
It added that it also launched drones at US equipment warehouses in Camp Udairi and the site of US military personnel in Camp Doha and Camp Arifjan.
Kuwait’s military says its air defences are actively intercepting Iranian drones and missiles.

<BAHRAIN

Iran’s army says it launched drone strikes on Sheikh Isa Air Base, as well as several of the US army base’s facilities, including the fuel storage tanks. It added that it also targeted the country’s Amazon data centre, though neither Bahrain nor Amazon have confirmed this.
Bahrain’s defence forces say their air defence systems have intercepted several Iranian attacks.

<JORDAN

Iran’s army says it launched drone strikes on Muwaffaq Salti/Al-Azraq base, as well as several of the US army base’s facilities, including maintenance facilities and accommodation sites.
Jordan’s army says it downed seven missiles and six Iranian drones that entered the kingdom’s airspace, adding that no deaths or injuries had been reported.

<IRAQ

A drone crash near Iraq’s Erbil International Airport forced the temporary suspension of flights, which resumed shortly afterwards, according to two security sources. The suspension followed a drone attack on the city.
No casualties were immediately reported.

<IRAN

The US Central Command says it has concluded air attacks against Iran, with Iranian media reporting four injured in blasts across several cities, including Khorramabad, Jask, Ahvaz and Bandar Abbas, as well as Qeshm Island.
A US missile strike near Ahvaz left four people dead and five injured, while additional strikes on Khorramabad and the port city of Bandar Abbas resulted in two injuries at each site, according to Iranian media.
Iran’s West Azerbaijan crisis management organisation says a site in the city of Piranshahr, near the border with Iraq, was struck in a morning US air attack.

Stuff like the US offering a nuclear deal to KSA are merely sweeteners. And I have little doubt that if Iran really bombs out oil production and particularly desalination plants the west won't have too much issue selling a "security intervention" to the plebs. Even China and Russia might balk at the idea of vetoing a UNSC vote like they often do when the US really wants to invade something.

The IRGC also might have ironically created a political vulnerability in Iran by ousting civilian power, in the case of a ground war if the US plays well they have a next friendly and subservient rulling class made up from civil servants unhappy of having been left on the bench. Israel to build base in Somaliland to target Houthis, says report

Somaliland will allow Israel to gather intelligence on and conduct operations against the Houthis, two Somaliland officials speaking on condition of anonymity told Bloomberg.
Israel has laid the groundwork for a possible base in the region: in June, a group of Israeli security officials visited the Somaliland coastline, people familiar with the matter said.
There they surveyed the beaches, in search of a potential site for a base or installation to fight the Houthi movement, which is officially known as Ansar Allah.
The site would be around 260km from Yemen, across the Gulf of Aden.

They're slimy fucks who cajoled the Americans into starting this conflict and are now content to sit back and let the goyim do all the fighting.

These countries have expressed zero interest in participating at all. Any country that won't even participate in bombing can't he relied on to participate in an invasion. A ground operation would require millions of troops, last for years, and most likely fail. The US alone doesn't have the manpower, none of their allies are so suicidal as to sign on to something like this, and America's own military leadership knows it would he a huge disaster.

The Russian military is larger and better equipped than its been in decades.

>The ME countries - who already normalized their relations with Israel - will handle just about anything if infrastructure destruction from Iran and Houthis passes a certain threshold.

How are these countries going to handle anything when their essential infrastructure is destroyed, they have no means of generating revenue, and their primary military patron is so denuded of material that it can't supply the means to prevent that destruction via AD or destroying Iran in the first place?

>And I have little doubt that if Iran really bombs out oil production and particularly desalination plants the west won't have too much issue selling a "security intervention" to the plebs.

What good is Saudi Arabia's security if its oil infrastructure is already destroyed? Why would people be convinced to throw more good money after bad when if things got to the point you describe, if Trump was able to defeat Iran the very next day production would take years to begin again, and many more to restore to pre war levels? People are already against the war, so why would they change their minds about supporting it just because the gulf states fucked around and found out?

>The IRGC also might have ironically created a political vulnerability in Iran by ousting civilian power, in the case of a ground war if the US plays well they have a next friendly and subservient rulling class made up from civil servants unhappy of having been left on the bench.

The regime seems like it's not going anywhere. They not only just had the biggest funeral ever for their murdered leader and his family, but they're bodying the terrorist state that has terrorized them for decades. Even if these civil servants tried to seize the government, why on earth would the irgc just allow them to do so? Why would the people support it when they're in a strong position, are arguably winning the conflict, and their enemy's stated goals are nothing less than their total subjugation and dismemberment as a state and civilization?

Revolutionary Guard: We targeted the American base in Azraq and destroyed a Patriot missile system and a spy balloon in Erbil.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on Friday the execution of the 27th wave of Operation “Nasr 2”, which included an attack on an American military base in Jordan and the destruction of an American air defense system in Erbil, northeast Iraq.
The Public Relations Department of the Revolutionary Guard said in a statement: "O great and sacrificing sons of Islamic Iran, your exceptional steadfastness makes the truth shine brighter in the world every day, and increases the isolation of injustice and arrogance. It also makes the fighters more hopeful of final victory, and instills despair in the hearts of the enemies of humanity."
She noted that the Aerospace Force of the Guard launched another "crushing attack" on the American base in Azraq, Jordan, inflicting serious damage on several warplanes and destroying a residence for American military personnel, resulting in the death and injury of a number of them.

In this context, the Public Relations Department of the Revolutionary Guard confirmed that "the child-killing American regime is clearly lying to its people and to others about the number of deaths," calling on research centers and media outlets to conduct a field investigation into this matter.
In another operation, Revolutionary Guard fighters destroyed a Patriot air defense system and a spy balloon belonging to the American regime in Erbil, and targeted the residence of American soldiers, according to the statement.
The Revolutionary Guard stressed at the end of its statement that "if the arrogant and illegitimate American regime continues its aggressive actions, it will face different responses."

<Iran's Revolutionary Guard is urging civilians to stay away from secret US troop residences in the area.

Earlier, the Revolutionary Guard warned "the general public in the countries where American soldiers are stationed to stay away from them," after "many officers and soldiers of the aggressor American army left their bases for fear of Islamic fighters' fire, and took up buildings in the cities as places to commit their crimes."
In a statement, the Guard urged people in those countries to "immediately move away, within a radius of 500 meters, from their places of deployment, in order to preserve their safety."
He called on them to report new locations of US occupation forces via the official public relations account of the Revolutionary Guard.
Iran has been experiencing daily American attacks for about 13 days, with renewed aggression. The attacks have focused on the western and southern parts of the country, and have affected many vital ports and bridges.
In response to renewed American aggression, the Iranian armed forces are launching attacks on American bases and interests in several Gulf states, as well as Syria and Jordan.

Al-Quds Brigades: The occupation's aggressive measures will only bring it further escalation and resistance.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, confirmed on Saturday that "the increase in the pace of heroic operations in the occupied West Bank is a natural and deterrent response to the ongoing Zionist violations against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, our prisoners and our people in the West Bank and Gaza."
In a statement, the Brigades said, "The aggressive measures announced by the criminal enemy government, including demolishing the homes of martyrs' families, expanding military operations, and accelerating settlement expansion projects, will only bring them more escalation and resistance."
She also pointed out that "choosing the appropriate place and time remains a valid decision for every Palestinian fighter to respond to this criminal enemy and its settler gangs."

In this context, the Al-Quds Brigades saluted the sons of the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank who are bravely confronting the Zionist attacks, affirming their unwavering will to protect their land and property and preserve their existence. They also offered condolences for the martyrs whose blood stained the land, foremost among them the martyr Sheikh Farouk Ramadan.
The Brigades called on the sons of the Palestinian people in all places where they are to "strengthen national unity and intensify efforts to confront the Zionist enemy's plans and ambitions in every inch of Palestine, until God fulfills His promise of victory and imminent conquest."

This came after a shooting near Nablus on Friday in the West Bank, which killed a major who commanded a battery in the 411th Battalion of the 282nd Fire Brigade of the Artillery Corps, and a soldier in the 8119th Battalion of the 16th Jerusalem Brigade, according to Israeli media.
A young Palestinian man managed to seize an officer’s weapon and open fire during a settler attack on the town of Tell, southwest of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, killing two Israeli soldiers. Four Palestinians were reported killed and four others were wounded by Israeli and settler gunfire.

Sanaa: "Escalation for escalation" is the theme of the next phase after the Saudi aggression on Hodeidah
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Sana'a government confirmed on Saturday that the "escalation for escalation" equation will be the title of the next stage, after the Saudi regime targeted Hodeidah Governorate.
The Foreign Ministry in Sana'a held the Saudi regime responsible for any developments that would result from this criminal step.
She said that "instead of complying with the legitimate and just demand to lift the blockade on Yemen, the Saudi regime committed a major folly that will cost it dearly."

<Ansar Allah: The recent crimes will not go unanswered.

For its part, the political bureau of the Ansar Allah movement stressed that “the Saudi enemy’s targeting of civilian facilities in Hodeidah and Kamaran Island is a dangerous escalation and an extension of the siege policy.”
The office added that "the Saudi enemy tried to compensate for its military and political failures by targeting the essentials of life for the Yemeni people," stressing that "targeting civilian objects is a blatant violation that places the international community before a moral and legal responsibility."
While affirming that "the recent crimes will not go unanswered," he reminded everyone that "the deterrence equation established by our people, leadership, and armed forces has become clear and firm."
He continued, threateningly: "A siege for a siege, ports for ports, escalation for escalation, and the continuation of aggression will only bring more losses to the aggressors."

<Saudi aggression on Hodeidah

This came after Saudi Arabia launched an attack on several vital and service sites in Hodeidah Governorate, western Yemen, on Friday evening.
Al-Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the Saudi aggression targeted the port of Hodeidah and facilities belonging to the Telecommunications Corporation in the city of Hodeidah, resulting in the injury of a worker in a building belonging to the Ministry of Communications.
The Saba news agency in Sana'a also reported that a Saudi aggression targeted Kamaran Island in Hodeidah Governorate, resulting in the injury of a woman.
In this context, Saba quoted a source in the Ministry of Defense in Sana'a as saying that the air defenses forced a number of Saudi military formations to leave the airspace.
In addition, the Joint Forces Command of the Coalition announced that it had carried out a "proportionate military response operation against legitimate military targets in Hodeidah Governorate."

The Joint Forces Command of the Coalition stated that "the port of Hodeidah was not targeted, and all Yemeni ports are open to maritime navigation," adding that it "will continue to take the necessary operational actions and measures to protect ships, the Kingdom's interests and assets."
A few days ago, the Yemeni armed forces announced the end of the 2022 truce, after Saudi aircraft launched an attack on Sana'a International Airport while an Iranian civilian plane was attempting to land there in order to break the blockade on Yemen.
Following this, and after a large popular mandate announced by the million-strong marches in Sana’a and a number of governorates a week ago, Sana’a announced the imposition of a naval blockade on Saudi Arabia , within the equation of “blockade for blockade”, which resulted in targeting ships belonging to Saudi companies in the Red Sea.

The tit-for-tat strikes between Washington and Tehran… are they paving the way for a different military course?
The confrontation between the United States and Iran is witnessing a new phase of military escalation, with an exchange of strikes and an expansion of operations, at a time when field objectives are overlapping with political and strategic messages.
While Washington asserts that its operations aim to "undermine Iran's military capabilities," Tehran maintains that its responses are intended to maintain deterrence and prevent a shift in the balance of power. Against this backdrop, questions arise regarding the military messages conveyed by the nature of the targets, the limits of the airstrikes' effectiveness, and whether the confrontation paves the way for a broader escalation or remains within calculated parameters, potentially leading to a return to the negotiating table.

<Southern Iran: Target of US Strikes

In an interview with Al-Mayadeen Net , retired Brigadier General and military and strategic expert Ali Abi Raad believes that the American strikes did not achieve the results that Washington aspired to, but rather complicated the field scene and expanded its repercussions on maritime navigation security and energy lines.
Abu Raad believes that the Iranian responses were more extensive, and this was directly reflected in the movement of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, which put the American administration in front of two options: either to look for a political way out, or to move to a more escalated stage by expanding military operations to impose new equations.
He points out that the field indicators tend towards the second option, citing the strengthening of the American military deployment, the movement of cargo and refueling aircraft, in addition to the Israeli statements that confirmed Tel Aviv’s readiness for direct military intervention if Washington requests it.

He adds that Washington focused its strikes on Iran’s southern coasts, stretching from the port of Chabahar to the Strait of Hormuz, given their strategic importance, in an attempt to seize control of one of the most important maritime passages in the region.
According to Abu Raad, the continuous American bombing during the confrontation, which employed highly destructive bombs, targeted command and control centers, radar and air defense systems, as well as logistical infrastructure in Bandar Abbas, where the naval command of the Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian army is based. However, he asserts that these strikes did not achieve the results Washington had anticipated.

<US bases are within range of Iranian retaliation

In contrast, Abi Raad believes that Iran has succeeded in expanding the scope of its operations against the American military infrastructure in the Gulf, after initially focusing on targeting radars and early warning systems, before moving on to targeting command and control centers, interceptor missile launch platforms and ammunition depots.
He notes that the Iranian strikes targeted defense systems that protect the Al Udeid base in Qatar, the Al Dhafra base in the UAE, the headquarters of the Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, as well as the HIMARS systems in Kuwait.

He confirms that field data and satellite images indicate the evacuation of large parts of the “Al-Udeid” base and the “Arifjan” base, and the reduction of the American military presence in Kuwait and Bahrain, noting that the targeting of American bases in the Gulf has increased the importance of the “Al-Azraq” base in Jordan, which includes “F-35” and “F-16” aircraft, which prompted Washington to redeploy a number of its aircraft.

<Air strikes: a tool of pressure or a means to win the war?

Abi Raad emphasizes that air strikes alone have never decided any war in history, considering that military resolution remains linked to ground operations, which makes the current strikes, despite their intensity, insufficient to achieve the political and military goals that Washington seeks.
He believes that the continued reliance on air strikes reflects an attempt to impose new realities on the ground, but it is not enough to achieve a strategic victory, given Iran’s ability to absorb the blows and continue to respond.

<What about the upcoming scenarios?

Regarding future scenarios, Abi Raad believes that the American strikes will continue and expand to include deeper infrastructure inside Iran, and he warns that any escalation targeting energy facilities will be met with an Iranian response whose limits are difficult to predict, given that Tehran possesses military capabilities that it has not yet fully used.
Abi Raad largely rules out the scenario of a US ground intervention, noting that the airborne and paratrooper forces that Washington mobilized at the beginning of the crisis have returned to their bases in the United States.
He believes that the most likely scenario is limited airborne operations via two routes; the first towards the Iranian islands overlooking the Strait of Hormuz, and the second via Bubiyan Island to the Iraqi border and the Kurdistan Region, considering that this scenario explains, in part, the Iranian strikes that targeted Sulaymaniyah.

Amidst the ongoing airstrikes and escalating military rhetoric, the confrontation appears poised for further intensification, though there are no definitive indications of a full-blown ground war. With the interconnected battlefields and the proliferation of pressure tactics, the region seems to be entering a new phase of redrawing the rules of deterrence, while the course of the confrontation remains open to multiple possibilities, governed more by the realities on the ground than by political calculations.

The Post-Trump Iran Debate
<The Democratic foreign policy establishment rejects imagination in Iran policy.

https://alexthurston.substack.com/p/the-post-trump-iran-debate

>Ex-Biden officials as well as other critics of Trump continue to comment regularly on the war in Iran. Given that the president is highly unlikely to listen to those critics, the main function of such criticism appears to be a kind of thought experiment about what alternative policies could be - whose application could only come in 2029, at the earliest. What markers, then, are being laid down for the future, especially as fierce debate plays out within the Democratic Party over foreign policy in the Middle East?

>From Ilan Goldenberg comes a piece that bothers me a lot. Goldenberg, as his official biography says, is Senior Vice President and Chief Policy Officer at J Street. The bio adds: “During the October 7 Hamas attacks and the early months of the war in Gaza, he served as Special Advisor to Vice President Kamala Harris on the Middle East. Subsequently, he became the National Director for Jewish Outreach and Policy Advisor on Harris’s 2024 Presidential campaign.” Goldenberg’s resume includes time at the State Department and the Center for a New American Security - in other words, he is a core member of what we might call the Democratic foreign policy establishment.

>His recent piece is titled “There Are No Good Options Left on Iran.” Goldenberg lays out three options: “pay Iran off”; apply “more military pressure”; or “let the Gulf states lead.” Goldenberg leans slightly towards the third option, but he indicates serious practical obstacles: “The problem is that the Gulf states are not unified.” Goldenberg concludes that the most likely outcome is “a prolonged period of instability that was entirely avoidable and that will take years to unwind” until “perhaps everyone gets tired of this new status quo.”

>Why would a former policymaker take the time to write a piece whose theme is him saying nothing will work? My reaction is that the piece functions to narrow debate and lower expectations. In terms of narrowing the debate, presenting three options is a classic Washington technique - if the room accepts those options as the parameters of the debate, the presenter has already exercised considerable control over the conversation. And in terms of lowering expectations, the Democratic foreign policy establishment has been busy putting down markers of various kinds about Iran, Gaza, and the wider Middle East: some members of that club have suggested their team could have managed the war better; others have expressed a superficial kind of regret that has been convincingly dismissed as cynical; and still others, including Goldenberg here, are effectively arguing that the next Democratic administration will be so busy picking up the pieces of Trump’s disasters that no progress or imagination will be possible.

>But there are other pathways available. Out this month is a new report from Sina Toossi at the Center for International Policy, which concludes (p. 25) with some sensible suggestions for rethinking the U.S.-Iran relationship, including a move towards open-ended diplomacy rather than transactional diplomacy: “Diplomacy must be treated as a permanent mechanism for risk management rather than a temporary reward for political convergence.” Toossi writes:

<The end state envisioned by this report is not reconciliation, alliance, or democratic transformation imposed from outside. It is a durable and managed cold peace in which conflict remains bounded, escalation is constrained, nuclear risks are contained, regional competition is managed through rules and institutionalized restraint rather than recurring military escalation, and the people of the region are no longer forced to bear the immense human, economic, and societal costs of perpetual war.

>I would go further. What about full diplomatic normalization? (We have full diplomatic relations with other countries with human rights records just as poor as Iran’s, and with countries that also maintain aggressive foreign policies in their own neighborhoods and beyond.) What about finding areas of common ground - shared priorities, even? Some cooperation was, after all, on offer in the past.

>The next Democratic president could not credibly promise a conclusive peace, given the possibility that his or her successor would shred any agreement. But the next Democratic president could pledge to give some breathing room, to cease any overt or covert regime change plots, to talk without preconditions, to alter U.S. policy towards Israel and Palestine, to de-escalate and reduce harm throughout the region.

>What is Tehran supposed to think, one might ask, reading Goldenberg’s post - reading a former top advisor to Harris say that there are “no good options”? That kind of talk can become self-fulfilling. Let’s hope, for the sake of both Iran and the United States - and the world - that it does not.

IRGC says US warplanes destroyed on the ground
A spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said Iranian attacks destroyed US aircraft on the ground at bases throughout the region.

“Furthermore, 17 reconnaissance and operational drones, one F-15 fighter jet inside a hangar, one P-8 aircraft, one C-17 transport aircraft and 8 refuelling aircraft were also destroyed”, the spokesman said in a statement published by Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency.

Iran says it sold $18 billion worth of oil during war and ‘ceasefire’
Iran’s oil minister said it has sold $18 billion worth of oil during the war and “ceasefire” with the United States.
Mohsen Paknejad said sales generated more than 60 percent of the oil revenue forecast in Iran’s annual budget.
Lower risks to tanker traffic helped increase exports and enabled the sale of some of the 100 million barrels of Iran’s stored crude oil and gas condensate.

US military leaders believe ‘effectiveness’ of attacks has peaked
It’s being reported by Axios that the US president was given a plan for what would have been a 14th night of airstrikes on Iranian targets, but instead did not order them.
Instead, he indicated that he wanted to give renewed diplomatic efforts a chance to work.
It’s also being reported that perhaps the 14th night of airstrikes was put on hold because there is a growing belief among military leaders that the effectiveness has reached its peak and that there wouldn’t be anything more to be gained by targeting more Iranian facilities.

>Statement | Iran condemns Ukrainian strike on its commercial ship, calls it a “dangerous widening the conflict”

>Iran’s Foreign Ministry accused Ukraine of a military attack on an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea early Saturday, saying an explosion killed 1 sailor and wounded another.

>In a statement, the ministry called the strike a violation of the UN Charter and “a clear instance of an act of aggression” that it said could further inflame the conflict. It noted that the attack had been “explicitly acknowledged” by Ukraine’s leader President Volodymyr Zelensky, and described it as evidence of the “hostile and irresponsible” approach of Kyiv toward Iran.

>Stating that Iran “has had no involvement” in the Russia-Ukraine war, the ministry said the strike showed Ukraine had committed an international violation and dangerously widened the conflict. It called on the UN Security Council, European states and the international community to take a responsible position, and said Ukraine’s “governing body” must answer for what it described as a criminal and provocative act.

>Tehran said it reserved the right to defend its national interests and security under international law, and that responsibility for the consequences of the Ukrainian leadership’s “adventurism” would fall on Kyiv and “its supporters and instigators.”

>The statement followed Zelensky’s announcement Saturday that Ukraine had struck Russian warships and cargo vessels in the Caspian that Kyiv said were carrying military cargo between Russia and Iran. Ukraine’s Security Service named two ships sanctioned by the US, the Port Olya 2 and the Begey, and said it also hit a Lukoil oil platform, according to RFE/RL. Neither government’s account has been independently verified.

US faces limited choices in Iran standoff as Strait of Hormuz remains under Tehran’s control
With additional financial sanctions on Iran unlikely to have an immediate impact, US faces limited options to break the stalemate in war with Iran.
Michael Mulroy, a Former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for the Middle East, and a Retired CIA Paramilitary Operations Officer says there’s three options the US could take.
“One is that the US could capitulate with the Strait still closed. I don’t see that happening with the nuclear programme still up in the air, that would be viewed as a strategic failure for the United States.”
Mulroy says US “can either have a stalemate or essentially have a naval blockade with the Strait of Hormuz is closed, but that would cause issues all around the world and of course that would only compound over time as oil reserves dwindle and that really would turn this crisis into a catastrophe.”

“If US thinks they could work, and there’s some indication from the US intelligence community in the US that it won’t, increasing the size and scope of the target militarily could put pressure on the regime that would have them come back to the table with something that’s more on the line of what the US would accept. So it seems to be one of the latter options that the President is going to choose.” Mulroy told Al Jazeera.
“It doesn’t look like there’s any type of breakthrough in negotiations and Iran seems perfectly happy to keep controlling the Strait of Hormuz and Iran is still making billions of dollars on the sale of their energy but I do think that what US is going to focus on now is how to stop that, how to build an international coalition for secondary sanctions, there’s more that can be done, there’s more assets that can be frozen. But it’s not likely to have an immediate impact.” Mulroy said.

The Revolutionary Guard announces the destruction of 11 American fighter jets and helicopters on the ground during 15 days of fighting.
Iranian Revolutionary Guard spokesman Hossein Mohebi announced in a statement to Tasnim News Agency that Iranian armed forces destroyed 11 American fighter jets and helicopters on the ground while they were inside American bases during 15 days of fighting.
The spokesman for the Revolutionary Guard added that 17 reconnaissance and operational drones were destroyed, noting that among them were 8 new drones that had not been used previously.
In detailing the equipment losses, the Revolutionary Guard confirmed the destruction of an American F-15 fighter jet, a P-8 aircraft, a C-17 military transport plane, and 8 aircraft designated for aerial refueling.

In a related context, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Mohammad Baqer Zolghadr, said on Saturday that any column of smoke that appears in the region indicates that a US military, security or financial site has been targeted.
In response to the ongoing American aggression against southern Iran, the commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced yesterday, Friday, the adoption of a fixed and declared equation on the battlefield against American forces, which is that “for every martyrdom of a dear citizen of Islamic Iran, the fate of one American element will be destruction.”

This comes as Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned on Friday “the general public in countries where American soldiers are stationed to stay away from them,” after “many officers and soldiers of the aggressor American army left their bases for fear of Islamic fighters’ fire, and took up buildings in cities as places to commit their crimes.”
In a statement, the Revolutionary Guard urged people in those countries to "immediately move away, within a radius of 500 meters, from their places of concentration, in order to preserve their safety."
He called on them to report new locations of US occupation forces via the official public relations account of the Revolutionary Guard.
These warnings come in the context of renewed American aggression against Iran, with attacks concentrated on the southern regions, which prompted Iranian responses with operations targeting several American bases in the Gulf, Syria and Jordan.

Iranian Army: We have destroyed almost all US infrastructure in Erbil, Iraq
Iranian military spokesman Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami Nia announced that almost all US infrastructure in the Iraqi city of Erbil has been destroyed.
Brigadier General Akrami Nia confirmed that the anti-revolutionary forces present in Erbil no longer have the ability to carry out operations against Iran.

The election of Haniyeh as head of Hamas: Implications and priorities
Hamas has chosen Dr. Khalil al-Hayya as head of its political bureau, succeeding the late Yahya Sinwar and Ismail Haniyeh. Al-Hayya won the confidence of the movement's Shura Council by a narrow margin over Khaled Meshaal, the movement's leader abroad.
The internal election system stipulates that a candidate must obtain 50% + 1 as a condition for winning the presidency, but none of the candidates obtained the required percentage in the first round, which necessitated a re-election.
The current election scenario brings to mind a similar scenario in the previous elections, which were repeated several times at the leadership level in the Gaza Strip, between Dr. Nizar Awadallah and Yahya Sinwar, with the latter winning by a small margin of votes over Awadallah.

<Elections amidst assassinations and war

The current elections are of particular importance, given the changes that have accompanied the Palestinian cause, the resistance, and Gaza in particular since the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle.
The movement is credited with its institutional cohesion and its ability to conduct internal elections in its three regions: Gaza, the West Bank, and abroad, despite the repeated assassinations that targeted the majority of its political, security, and military leaders.
The specter of assassination continues to haunt the leaders and cadres, including al-Hayya himself, who survived an assassination attempt in Qatar. This will remain a major challenge facing the movement and its political and organizational stability.
However, this reflects an Israeli failure to undermine the movement's institutions and create internal chaos and confusion. The selection of Haniyeh also reflects the movement's reaffirmation of the Gaza Strip's continued leading role, status, and ability to influence the directions, decisions, and policies it will adopt in the coming period.

<The continuity of the paths of Haniyeh and Sinwar

The selection of Khalil al-Hayya, in its strategic dimension, reinforces the continuity of the paths drawn by the two former leaders of the movement, Haniyeh and Sinwar, which were linked to close relations with Iran and the axis of resistance on the one hand, and maintained special relations with Qatar and Turkey, and succeeded in building relations with influential countries, such as Egypt, Algeria, Russia and China, on the other hand.
These approaches have also garnered the trust of various actors and entities, and Khalil al-Hayya's election will strengthen the balance in foreign relations. Conversely, al-Hayya's defeat would have meant, for some parties, a departure from the principle of balance.

On the national level, Haniyeh was one of the most prominent leaders who supported the paths adopted by Haniyeh and Sinwar, which led to an unprecedented revival in joint national action, especially in the Gaza Strip.
The movement presented a unique model of national relations, reflected in joint national action at various stages, most notably the 2018 Return Marches, the joint political stance on elections, reconciliation and the Palestine Liberation Organization, and the unified and coordinated military resistance through the formation of the Joint Operations Room, which included 12 military wings of resistance factions.
These factions participated in the “Al-Aqsa Flood” battle, defended Gaza during the war of extermination, and presented an exceptional model of resistance, sacrifice, and steadfastness.

<The snake and the Gazan symbolism

The election of Khalil al-Hayya is not without symbolism that is difficult to ignore. He is from Gaza, which has been and continues to be subjected to genocide, and has become the center of the universe and events, and a standard for morals and values.
This man represents a microcosm of Gaza within the movement's leadership ranks; his family was wiped out, and the survivors were displaced within Gaza, moving from tent to tent in displacement camps, enduring hunger, thirst, heat, and cold alongside the rest of the population. Under the current circumstances, it is difficult for the people of Gaza to comprehend any other option.

In the public consciousness, Khalil al-Hayya is seen as an extension of the "flood" and its ongoing trajectory and repercussions, which remain unresolved. He also leads the negotiations in all their details, and his election signifies their continuation, given the anticipation of Gaza's citizens regarding their outcome and the hopes that these negotiations will protect them from plans of annihilation and displacement, alleviate their suffering, and rescue the humanitarian situation.

It is also believed that al-Hayya will seek to develop and revitalize the work in various arenas in support of Gaza, in light of what he perceives as its feeling of being let down by its surroundings.
The people of Gaza feel that the vast majority have abandoned them, leaving them in the clutches of a brutal enemy, including their brothers in the occupied West Bank, their families from the Palestinians inside Israel, and a quarter of them in exile and the diaspora.
On the other hand, they believe that the greatest hope was in countries friendly to or supportive of the Palestinian people, such as Turkey, Qatar and Algeria, while the people of Gaza look with all respect and appreciation to Yemen, which threw all its military, popular and geopolitical cards, especially Bab al-Mandab, for the sake of Gaza, and paid a heavy price in lives, money and property.
They also appreciate the positions of the resistance in Lebanon and Iran, while they had hoped that Gaza would be included in the latter's negotiations with the United States.
Al-Hayya will take into account all the positions expressed by the people of Gaza from the depths of their suffering, in light of his realization that the first priority is to save and support Gaza, after it has done all it can and more, and that national action requires the efforts of all components and arenas, and that everyone should stand to help Gaza, as it is still picking up its wounds, so that they may atone for part of their shortcomings and betrayal.

<Cairo negotiations and the urgent challenge

The urgent challenge facing Khalil al-Hayya is the course of the Gaza negotiations in Cairo, in light of the recent understandings with the mediators regarding various items, including the issue of weapons and the proposed formulas regarding the restriction, collection and storage of heavy weapons in Gaza.
This file still needs agreement with the Peace Council, and then the approval of the Israeli government, which requires Trump to personally play his role, as head of the council, and impose the agreement on Netanyahu, in light of the latter’s fear of the agreement’s impact on his electoral prospects.
This is the role that mediating countries should play, especially Türkiye, whose president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has close ties with Trump.
There is no doubt that the Gaza Strip, its suffering, and its fate will be Khalil al-Hayya's primary focus in the coming period. The greatest challenge is halting the genocide and the plan to displace Palestinians in Gaza, addressing their humanitarian needs, strengthening support for them, and alleviating their suffering through a comprehensive national and humanitarian mobilization.
