So the path is 6 months Dublin procedure (I entered EU by asking for asylum at Bosnia-Croatia border but bc my gf is trans they won't send us to Croatia bc she cant start/continue hormones legally there) then 3-16 months actual procedure. They'll do 3-5 interviews and check my story for logical consistency, knowledge of LGBT community, etc
Then if they approve it I can apply for a refugee travel document and travel, it's basically the same as passport but i'd need a visa for countries outside EU
After that when I wait 7-10 years and pass a French language test I'd get citizenship. It doesn't really offer any perks other than travel and right to vote
