Friendly reminder billionaire are shilling for politicians they know are idiotic and incompetent like Trump to cut social programs and start stupid wars while increasing the national debt 5 trillion in 18 months to point out how government and "statist" ideology is unsustainable and harmful and then started astroturfing people curtis yarvin out of goddamn nowhere to spread and manufacture consent for a corporate and libertarian society, scapegoating the same incompetent governments they ceaselessly fought to bring to power

We are heading for an extremely oligarchical world, It's up for us to act now.
Ancapistan in ~10 years, give or take

The state must be understood as a class dictatorship.
Where it serves the interests of a class, it has no criticism.
Where it serves opposite interests, it is criticised.
It makes no sense to weaken the state, but as you say, it is made even stronger, as class power consolidates by the levelling of competition. No critic of the state is genuine.

stop imagining that the state is your friend. the state is run by those same billionaires. it means nothing if they replace rule by a glove puppet in their right hand with rule by themselves, directly, with the left hand. it is true that billionaires are doing these things, but some of them are popular with segments of the public: trump cultists do not worship trump because billionaires tell them to, they do so because trump is fundamentally appealing to their prejudices and instincts. even in a world with no billionaires, trump would have - at the very worst - come a close second in 2024. it remains eminently possible he might even have won. moreover, billionaires want war for many reasons, and discrediting the state is pretty far down the list of reasons. (below, indeed, that they have the same personality defects as the average trump supporter, and therefore enjoy killing for killing's sake.)

the optimal configuration of the state at the moment would be for it to handle welfare transfers, infrastructure, basic public order (including elementary "don't put arsenic in food" regulation), and at a push antitrust policy, and not one thing more. the most reactionary people are almost to a t those in uncompetitive sectors where the state has cut out a special little role for them, whether that's elon musk raking in NASA contracts, car dealers sitting comfortably knowing the government won't let car manufacturers sell direct even though it would be more efficient, or the entire british economy where the basic model of so-called privatisation was that you can run a water company made of leaky pipes and shit in every river and still have the government guarantee you a profit while protecting you from any threat of new, competitive market entrants.
that is, the state should do as much as it does now, but with a much narrower focus, including the removal of the means of war. meanwhile, much of the market must be exposed to much greater competition to neutralise reactionary influence.
no, none of this will happen. the fundamental problem underpinning this and all libertarian-ish visions is that people who're getting rich looting the current system will lobby for tax cuts, but not deregulation or pro-competition policy. that would interfere with their looting. meanwhile, those who would benefit from those changes cannot lobby you with the money they have not yet earned from the competitive market that does not yet exist…

<I'm completely new to the left so excuse me.
<I used to watch right wing youtube but now they're blackpilling everyone on "progressivism" and naming it an idol. If there's no hope for progress, what's all the suffering and drudgery for? What did we achieve by 2026?
<An idol? Does religion have an OF now, WTF?

God, people are really stupid. Sometimes I feel that the guillionnaires are the most communist class.

Marx wasn't wrong about classes but… capitalism is the default state because it's the best achievable compared to modern humans. In order to have a paradise, the people would have to be from that paradise and not want to aspire to be from the top class of the dystopia they're already in. Paradise must be realistically attainable and the people must hate their dystopia instead of defending it.

Workers only get to make their conditions better and demand better tools and more reasonable conditions for their work because their life is work as an end and not as a means. You don't get to change that because that's unrealistic and the change in meaning would psychologically depress them. They believe in work and they defend it. To be effective, the left has to be realistic and focus on people and their current conditions and attainable goals like defined healthcare and education targets. NEETdom must not be an existential insecurity for workers.

>>2890291 sounds like "the capitalism" is hacked. Otherwise I agree 99% with the post.
>>2890241 examples of crazies sponsored and enabled by big money… more "hacking". Leftists should be looking at and deconstructing what's being read to the other side.

Everything is shilled by the money class gradient. Good post.

>stop imagining that the state is your friend. the state is run by those same billionaires.
I think that the second statement is caused by the first. The billionaires know that the state is not a friend, so they play the game to their win. Now they run it without challenge.

Tell me about this. Are the middle class supposed to be bad? I thought that most communists were the professional middle class?

>The state is a product and a manifestation of the irreconcilability of class antagonisms.
the bard on the paladin

The thing with the "oligarchic world" is it's extremely easy for both state actors even at their weakest point or just lone wolf types to litteraly kill said oligarch and their family therefore to submit them, and they are well aware of that. I mean look at what Putin did.
Nobody is actually ready to die for Elon Musk or Peter Thiel, they can't buy honor and fidelity just mercenaries, nobody was even really ready to die for Walt Dysney and Henry Ford and these guys were actually geniuses.

It doesnt matter if Trump is a retard if he want he can litteraly ask his supporter both in the civilian population or the federal agencies to murder wathever billionaire he dislike and theyll do it and hell get away with it, likewise for a lib president. The power of the oligarch is extremely fake and gay, there's a reason Tyler Robinson freaked them out so much recently to the point of implicitely backing down on their RW signaling, they litteraly did nothing as a response for a reason.

The Russian state has been completely pillaged and the copper wires stolen after 1991, the military was in shamble and it took Putin what? 5 years to submit these guys? No need to make mountains out of molehills.

>>2888791
>then started astroturfing people curtis yarvin out of goddamn nowhere to spread and manufacture consent for a corporate and libertarian society,
No, not out of nowhere. That kind of stuff has been around for a long while and needs deconstructing.
