Ftfy. Allowing space for communists to operate without immediately being arrested or starved because they're poor is useful but not the end goal. The legal struggle must be in support of the extra-legal struggle, dual power constructed in parallel to and to supplant the bourgeois state. Social democracy may be progressive in part or cover for the progressive elements in a particular country but it is not a replacement for the DotP. There are enough disgruntled people in the first world to praxis aside from participation in elections.
