Engels even gives up on workers in the end, stating that it will be the unemployed who effect revolution. This muddling departs from the stated plans of Utopian Socialists like Robert Owen, who had clearly thought of practical ends, while Marx is a theoretical thinker, not a practical one. This is what is understood. We can say that capitalism is bad, but now what? That is Guttfeld's point.
