Americaโs Elected Officials Are Living in Fear
>At least 44 governors, as well as their staff and families, have been subjected to violent threats over the past two years, The Timesโs investigation found. Thatโs also true of at least 70 of the nationโs 100 senators, and at least 185 members of the House of Representatives โ nearly half the body. More than half of the countryโs secretaries of state, most of whom serve as their statesโ chief election officers, have received threats of violence.
>The threats have also reshaped private lives. Dozens of officials have fortified their homes, installed cameras and hired private security guards, often at their own expense. Theyโve changed their daily routines, moved their children to new schools, grocery-shopped only at certain times and places. Theyโve scrubbed the internet to remove personal information about themselves and their loved ones.
>Vague state and federal laws and free speech protections can make prosecution challenging. Anonymous letters and screen names can be hard to track. The sheer volume of threats can make hunting down those responsible virtually impossible.
>This new normal can also be measured in dollars spent. In the 2017-2018 election cycle, candidates for federal office spent roughly $6 million on security-related items, according to campaign finance records. In the current midterm cycle, candidates had already spent at least $25 million by Aug. 1, with the final general election sprint still to come. That excludes what many officials are spending from their own pockets.
<And policing violent threats against officials is a difficult task. The Timesโs review of federal court data from the past two years found only 53 cases in which individuals were charged with threatening public officials, excluding the president.
<โMy daughter just sent me one yesterday,โ Mr. Walz told The Times, โwhere somebody said, โWait what Iโve got in store for you โ and then a picture in front of the house.โ
<โOne member got a photograph, an actual physical photograph, mailed to them, and it was a photograph of their, I think it was an 8-year-old child walking a dog in their neighborhood,โ Mr. Manger said. โAll it said on it was โcute dog.โโis this praxis?

>>2930360>I've obviously never been to a trump a rally so I'm talking completely out my ass but people don't attend these things to do "politics". They aren't thinking about it that way at all. It's a social activity/performance. They are tailgaiting these things and swapping trump merch and basically throwing a party. I am sure some of these people ARE deeply devoted, but a lot of them cheer and laugh at the proper moment because the crowd does. So it's not surprising that you have all these clips of Trump saying insane stuff from a political point of view but the crowd not seeing it that way.I saw some guy on Reddit who went to a Trump rally and claimed that people would give him odd looks when he wasn't clapping or chanting with the rest of the crowd.
I don't know if there's an official sociology term for it or not, but it seems to me that Trump rallies are kind of like a kind of church or collective ritual experience that simultaneously establishes you as part of the "in group" but also reinforces some flagging faith in the ideological project. You kind of see that with other fascist rallies throughout history. It's a kind of secularized form of religious ecstasy. Its about losing yourself to the emotional experience of it, like how certain charismatic churches have people roll their eyes back and start speaking gibberish.
To be honest I think Trump's rallies are part of what gives his movement such staying power. Even as he fumbles pretty much every task he sets out for himself, you've got a whole auditorium of people reaffirming their faith in him and shouting "LORDY LORDY LORDY! BUILD THAT WALL MISTER PRESIDENT!"

>>2930455I mean it's a pretty quintessentially American thing, isn't it? it was also pretty sparsely attended, and this was deep in the middle of trump country. big venue tbf but it was only like 20% filled and they had everyone cluster around one area for the cameras
Had Lenin and the Bolsheviks never taken power and betrayed the soviets and Black Army, Marxist Leninism wouldnโt have done the damage it has to socialism, and anarchism, rightly so, would be the main and most popular form of socialism.
Fuck Lenin. And also fuck orthodox Marxists
>>2930575This has got to be the most pathetic type of political theorizing there is:
>If only every single person on Earth did exactly what I said and nobody opposed it, my theory would work in reality! To be fair, MLs also fall into that same camp too when explaining why the USSR failed, but anarchists got even less than that.
>>2930577The libertarian forms of socialism have been obscured due to ML and the Soviet Union. Even within Marxism were differences: Anton Pannekoek and Rosa Luxembourg was very critical of Lenin.
Anarchism has never failed, it has been destroyed: Makhnoschvina and Spain 36.
>tfw the mass shooting calendar is so full you have to double up.
>>2930583Like I said, if your theory relies on everyone on Earth doing what you say and nobody opposes you, then it can't really be called a political theory. Anybody can theorize whatever new society where every does x, y, z, and believes x, y, z, but that doesn't make it anything useful. You're basically just writing a bad fiction novel.
>>2930586Well clearly there will always be opposing forces as they it goes against their interests. But that applies to any social change, not just โtheoriesโ (which are not theories btw)
>>2930592Yeah and your theory's job is to overcome the opposing forces otherwise it is useless.

>>2930614>I think you'd [be] made fun of harder for driving a shitbucket rather than living in a shitty looking house.well fuck what people think. If it comes down to having to choose between a nice house or a nice car, if I spend more time in my house than in my car I'd rather a comfortable house. But obviously most people would like both. But why make yourself uncomfortable just to get people to stop making fun of you? That's shallow.

>>2930622I decided to use Google maps to get a better look at the neighborhood in the picture and truthfully it doesn't look that bad. The one house where the shooting happened seemed to look like the worse one there. The only thing is that the houses look like they're built a bit closer to each other than what I'm used to but then again being from California compared to a city in Pennsylvania might be why the housing there seems a bit more unusual. Over in California the housing stock is just generally newer so the houses tend to look less beat up.

Anarchism is an ideology for immature manchildren who like to play around with community gardens and polycules instead of engaging in revolutionary praxis. The Durruti Column, the CNT-FAI entering the Republican government, the May Days in Barcelona – all historical examples of Anarchist LARP getting BTFO in the face of reality.
Trotsky summarized how anarchist retardation is actually counter-revolutionary:
<Social Revolutionary-Anarchist soviets could serve only as a bridge from the proletarian dictatorship to capitalist restoration. They could play no other role, regardless of the 'ideas' of their participants. The Kronstadt uprising thus had a counter-revolutionary character(
https://www.marxists.info/archive/trotsky/1938/01/kronstadt.htm)
If your "ideology" cannot solve the problems of developing civilian infrastructure, militarily combatting capitalists/fascists and concretely building a socialist future towards communism, then it's not an ideology - it's a LARP. Worse: a counter-revolutionary LARP that ultimately serves capitalist interests.

>>2930658Well the anarchists did actually manage to solve those problems to an extent. But their solutions in practice were fairly similar to social democracy and war communism. The CNT-FAI semi-liquidated itself into a coalition with the regionalist bourgeois government and they didn't manage to expropriate the entirety of the rural landlords in the areas they controlled nor did they manage to do it with the capitalists. When they did manage to do so, enterprises were usually turned into cooperatives or were left as is with a tax levied on them. So much for the immediate abolition of capitalism and the state.

Trump's trade wars sting US manufacturers ahead of midterms
>One example is Shapes Unlimited, an Ohio manufacturer of aluminum building products. CEO Doug Rende estimates that Trump's aluminum tariffs have added $4.5 million to $5 million in costs this year alone. The tariffs on aluminum have increased from 10% during Trump's first term to 50% under his current administration.
>Rende says his company cannot pass all these costs along to customers and must absorb a substantial portion. The business has paused hiring while investing in robotic assembly to reduce expenses. The ongoing war with Iran has compounded the problem, with additional shipping surcharges reaching $6,500 per container.
>Another Ohio manufacturer, Sam Miller, describes being caught on both sides of Trump's trade disputes. His company faces higher costs for materials imported from Asia while simultaneously struggling to sell products in Canada because of retaliatory trade measures and deteriorating relations between the two countries. Plans to establish a Canadian distribution facility have consequently slowed.
>The president of the Youngstown Warren Regional Chamber, representing approximately 3,000 businesses, describes the combined effects of tariffs, the Iran war, and immigration policies as mixed but negative overall. Some businesses have lost customers or reduced their workforces. https://finance.yahoo.com/economy/policy/articles/trumps-trade-wars-sting-us-013151179.html >>2930787what do you mean AI?

>>2930658>>2930710>Anarchist debates againY'know tying this back to Machiavelli (been reading The Prince again) he talks a bit about (and Gramsci noted this) how a ruler has to navigate the dichotomy between "beast" and "man", or rather violence/coercive force and reason/law.
I think there's a huge element of, I guess you could say, contradictory dualism in The Prince; however this isn't likely because it's a "satire" (which was ultimately just cope by Rosseau to rehabilitate Machiavelli's reputation) but rather because humanity often doesn't exist in these clear-cut, either-or sort of spaces. People inhabit both.
Back to Anarchism; one of the chief issues with it can boil down to rejecting that bestial nature. I've seen Anarchists take it as a point of pride that one of the reasons Makhnovia was defeated by Trotsky was because the Red Army used conscription and the Anarchists were all volunteers. In Spain there were genuine issues with Anarchist volunteers leaving after a few days of inaction; later the CNT-FAI would earn some ire for having to resort to arresting dissidents and traitors.
The point is that Anarchists don't really perceive their defeats as defeats, or at least not outright failures as MLs might see it. That they lost because one side had a state and used it isn't a knock against Anarchism to a lot of these types, its proof-positive that states of any kind all end the same way. MLs will see a rebellion within their territory and crush it, Anarchists see that as an affront to their ideology.
But I think learning to recognize you've got to have hatchet men is important for any political project. You have to sometimes crush people who might have a point or be earnest in their intentions because
that's what you need to win. And if you aren't willing to do that or tolerate others who do it, then you should at least acknowledge you're fighting a moral battle and not one you actually intend to win.

https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2026/10/13/gjdl-o13.htmlFederal agents raid Ilhan Omarโs home: A new step in Trumpโs drive toward dictatorshipEarly Monday morning, agents of Homeland Security Investigations, the criminal investigative arm of ICE, raided the Washington D.C. home of Representative Ilhan Omar, Democrat of Minnesota, on a search warrant secured by the Justice Department. The immigration police have been sent against a sitting member of Congress three weeks before a national election. This is a lawless act of political persecution, and it must be condemned and opposed by every worker and every defender of democratic rights.
Omar, 44, came to the United States as a child refugee from the civil war in Somalia. She has been targeted by the White House for years because of her criticism of aspects of US foreign policy, particularly the Israeli genocide in Gaza. She has not been charged with any crime.
The raid is not simply an effort to influence the November 3 vote. It is a step in the drive by the Trump administration toward presidential dictatorship, and the election itself is one of its targets. A government that sends federal agents into the home of an opposition legislator, on the strength of smears spread by the president, is preparing to dispense with the constitutional forms that are supposed to hold it to account.
The timing was deliberate. The raid came 22 days before the election, in open disregard of the longstanding Justice Department practice of avoiding overt steps against candidates within 60 days of a vote. According to CBS News, Attorney General Todd Blanche was personally aware of the search. Trump told reporters he โhad nothing to do withโ it.
In fact, Trump gave the signal. On Thursday, October 8, he posted on Truth Social: โThe once Great State of Minnesota is being taken over by Somali Immigrants. There is Violence, Murder, and Mayhem all over the State.โ He went on: โFight back Minnesota, fight back! If you need, the Federal Government will come to your rescue.โ
Two days later, at a campaign rally in Clarksville, Tennessee, he turned on Omar: โShe comes from Somalia, they donโt have a government, they donโt have police. All they have is crime and squalor.โ Referring to unproven allegations of fraud spread on right-wing social media, he added, โThese people from Somalia, what theyโve done to Minnesota should never be allowed.โ On Monday morning, the agents arrived.
The investigation reportedly concerns immigration paperwork filed by Omarโs late father when she was a child. Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin has gone further, repeating the right-wing smear that Omar married her brother. โIf we can prove it,โ he said in an interview last month, โthen maybe you shouldnโt have been here in the first place; weโll deport you.โ
Omar has been a naturalized citizen since 2000. The administration is openly threatening to strip a member of Congress of her citizenship and expel her from the country.
โBorder czarโ Tom Homan told Fox News last month that โregardless if theyโre a congressman or not, no oneโs above the law.โ This from a government so riddled with criminality that Trump said this month he would consider pre-emptive pardons for officials of his administration before he leaves office. According to Forbes, Trumpโs own fortune has nearly tripled since early 2024, to $6.2 billion.
The pretext for the assault on the elections is the lie of mass voting by non-citizens, herded to the polls by the Democrats. Investigations have found only small numbers of non-citizens incorrectly registered to vote, usually through mistakes made when they applied for driverโs licenses, and an infinitesimal number of votes actually cast.
These lies are not used merely to bolster Trumpโs claim that he won the 2020 election, which he lost convincingly to Joe Biden. Their real purpose is to whip up an anti-immigrant hysteria among his fascist supporters that would facilitate calling off the elections entirely or holding them under martial law conditions, with armed troops and the immigration Gestapo deployed at polling stations, particularly in neighborhoods with large immigrant and minority populations.
The raid comes as the polls point to a Republican debacle. A Reuters/Ipsos poll released October 5 put Trumpโs approval rating at 32 percent, a record low, and the Cook Political Report rates the Democrats as favored to win the House. Trump is not preparing to accept such a result. He is preparing to prevent it.
The administration has turned the Justice Department and the DHS against its political opponents, singling out black women in particular and appealing to racism and misogyny: Omar, New York Attorney General Letitia James and Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook. Representative LaMonica McIver, Democrat of New Jersey, faces federal assault charges, carrying a potential sentence of more than a decade, relating to an oversight visit to Delany Hall, an ICE detention center in Newark.
Omar called the raid โan attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement.โ She said, โFor 10 years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation,โ adding, โI will not be silenced.โ
House Democratic leaders Hakeem Jeffries, Katherine Clark and Pete Aguilar called the raid โdeeply disturbingโ and promised โfull accountability for the rogue abuse of power,โ without proposing to actually do anything. Other Democrats issued statements and nothing more.
The Democratsโ concern for Omar is of recent vintage. In 2019, the party leadership forced her to apologize for criticizing the influence of AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), a lobby that has defended every crime of the Israeli state, including the genocide in Gaza. When Republicans removed her from the House Foreign Affairs Committee in 2023, the Democrats confined themselves to a party-line vote while lining up behind a resolution declaring Israel Americaโs โlegitimate and democratic ally,โ which Omar herself signed.
It was the Biden Justice Department that opened an investigation into Omarโs finances, campaign spending and interactions with a foreign citizen. According to the New York Times, that inquiry stalled for apparent lack of evidence, but it helped create the conditions for the present effort to vilify, prosecute and deport her.
In the coming weeks, the Democrats will present the November 3 vote as the answer to Trump. The pseudo-left organizations and the trade union apparatus will do the same, working to channel the anger over the raid behind the Democratic Party as the โlesser evil.โ The working class must reject this trap.
Under the two-party system, the Democrats would be the sole beneficiaries of a Republican collapse. But they are a party of Wall Street and the military-intelligence apparatus. Their conflict with Trump centers not on the defense of democratic rights but on questions of imperialist strategy, above all, the war against Russia in Ukraine.
A Democratic victory on November 3 would not halt the drive toward dictatorship. Trump has made clear that he will not accept a result that goes against him, and the Democrats, who downplay the danger at every turn, are terrified of the growth of opposition from below. The forces behind this drive, including the immense concentration of wealth in a financial oligarchy, the turn to war abroad and the assault on immigrants and workers at home, are rooted in the crisis of American capitalism, which the Democrats defend no less than the Republicans.
The Socialist Equality Party has fundamental political differences with Omar and the other Democratic officeholders, who uphold and defend the capitalist system. But we oppose the persecution of them by the Trump administration, and we demand that all investigations and prosecutions of those on Trumpโs โenemies listโ be immediately halted. The methods now being used against Omar have already been used against immigrants, and they will be turned against every section of working people.
The defense of democratic rights falls to the working class, mobilized independently of both parties of big business. Workers should build rank-and-file committees in every workplace and neighborhood to oppose the raids, the deportation machine and every move toward dictatorship, and to connect this fight to the struggle against the capitalist system from which the danger of dictatorship arises.

Just start shootingโ: Death threats over data centers are tearing American towns aparthttps://archive.is/20261012163759/https://edition.cnn.com/2026/10/12/politics/data-center-backlash-death-threats#selection-3493.13-3501.13https://edition.cnn.com/2026/10/12/politics/data-center-backlash-death-threatsSnippet:
<The handwritten warning was left at an Amazon data center construction site in suburban Virginia: A dozen pipe bombs scattered throughout the building would explode in the next half hour.Officers rushed to the scene as workers dropped their tools and fled. Bomb-sniffing dogs prowled every corner of the site.
<That April 22 message in the city of Manassas, authorities soon confirmed, was an empty threat โ the latest in a string this year that has rattled the state and communities across the nation.
<As thousands of new data centers have been built to fuel the booming artificial intelligence industry, escalating public resentment against both the energy-sucking infrastructure and AI itself is roiling small towns and suburban communities from coast to coast, a CNN investigation has found.
<Police have been called into action to investigate dozens of threats to data centers, from bomb claims etched on bathroom walls to online incitements to โuse bullets on city council membersโ to suggestions that protesters should โunaliveโ pro-development officials, according to a CNN review of more than 100 police reports filed since last year.
<Aside from rare cases like an Indianapolis council member whose home was sprayed with gunfire, those threats have rarely led to actual violence โ but theyโve eaten up hundreds of hours of police time, alarmed workers and inflamed communities already on edge over the projects.
<That rising outrage has also inspired a growing police crackdown, including federal agencies tracking data center protests and local cops questioning vocal activists, and even filing criminal charges against critics that have later fallen apart in court.
<The police records as a whole paint a vivid picture of a national backlash against the rise of data centers and AI reaching a boiling point at a moment when the debate has become a key issue threading party lines ahead of the midterm elections. They also show growing concern among law enforcement agencies about extremist groups at opposite ends of the political spectrum hopping on the anti-data-center bandwagon.
<Anti-technology extremist narratives appeal to a broad array of ideological movements โ including anarchists, environmental extremists, and white supremacists โ creating a common target between otherwise opposing movements,โ Colorado state officials warned in an April bulletin for police agencies. A similar California memo warned in June of โa broad range of threat actorsโฆ mobilized by AI-related grievances.โ
<Still, some people who have been charged with making threatening comments insist theyโre not extremists and do not actually wish violence upon anyone. Rather, they say they were driven to take dramatic action by rising electricity bills, environmental worries or fears of AI.
<โIโm not really political,โ Anthony Hinojosa, an Illinois man arrested in February over an alleged data center threat, told an investigator who interrogated him, according to police recordings. โI feel like we donโt have a vote.โ
<But elected officials say the reports show how the battle over data centers and AI is entering dangerous territory, where theyโre fearing for their lives just for doing their jobs. Minneapolis council member Michael Rainville was left pleading in an August letter to his constituents for a more peaceful dialogue over the issue.
<โPlease stop the threats against me and my family,โ he wrote. >>2931471Three years of live genocide in Gaza did nothing material, if you donโt like the public execution you can always just change the channel, the government isnโt going to force you to look at it like in Clockwork Orange

>Secret U.S. missile and electro-optics technology was transferred to China recently by Israel, prompting anger from the U.S. and causing a senior Israeli defense official to resign.
>The head of defense exports for the Israeli Defense Ministry resigned after a U.S. investigation concluded that technology, including a miniature refrigeration system manufactured by Ricor and used for missiles and in electro-optic equipment, was sent to China, according to the Israeli newspaper Maariv.
>Another Israeli news site, Aretz Sheva, reports the U.S. is concerned the technology could ultimately find its way to Iran, which last year sought to buy military equipment from China for its nuclear program.
> The Maariv report identified the Israeli defense official as Meir Shalit, and said he apologized to U.S. officials on a recent visit.
>Israel has a long record of getting U.S. military technology to China.
>In the early 1990s then-CIA Director James Woolsey told a Senate Government Affairs Committee that Israel had been selling U.S. secrets to China for about a decade. Starting from foundation of the state of Israel in 1948, to the various American presidents who challenged Israeli policy, and how the US went from reluctant support to an "unbreakable alliance" due to various factors. Most importantly, we take a depe dive into The Israel Lobby, growing influence of institutions like AIPAC, Christian Zionism, and the factors as to why Israel exerts an immense level of control on US foreign policy, and why US poltiicians don't challenge Israel. Along the way, I analyze the question of wheather Israel is a "US Proxy" and challenge the notion that it is in the "strategic interests" of the United States to support Israel. This is why petty bourgeois reactionary ideologies treat the nation and the race as the fundamental identitarian principle around which to organize society. They see the bourgeoisie as "betraying the nation" with "international" capitalism that has grown too large, and should RETVRN to the Smithian capitalism of the late 1700s, and small scale production. Also further on the China question, we can see 2023-2024 decrease in weapons sales to Israel.
TLDR
China:
- 2023: $2.26 million weapons sold to israel
- 2024: $1.61 million weapons sold to israel
- none given away for free
- no intelligence sharing
- don't defend them from iranian missiles
- sometimes alleged by western sources to be arming Hamas secretly
- accused by some on here of being bigger friends of israel than the USA is
- doesn't defend israel on the world stage from genocide accusations and war crime prosecution
USA:
- 2023: $773 million weapons sold to israel
- 2024: $1.6 billion weapons sold to israel
- billions given away for free
- intelligence sharing
- defend them from iranian missiles
- defends israel on the world stage from genocide accusations and war crime prosecution

>>2932244I don't get it either, and I'd like to see the source of this quote. It's obvious that there isn't one single "objective", god-given system of morality; instead moral concepts evolve according to the economic progress of the society at hand and the class interests within it. That doesn't mean that workers should be "amoral" in a Nietzschean sense however, because shared ideas of personal conduct (or morality) allow workers to work together as an organized class.

>>2932262Morals are whether is something is right or wrong, based on an internal sense. Aristotle and Confucius attributed it to the soul, a sort of connection to the metaphysical laws on what is "good" or "bad".
Ethics are whether something is conductive for some social outcome. So an example would be encouraging having honesty because it'll lead to a more prosperous society.
Morals might argue that a journalist lying is bad because lies are contrary to the laws of the soul inside, ethics might argue that its bad because it can erode the trust the readership has in the narrative the journalist holds.

>>2932496>>2932500>the trump republican stupidity has gotten to the point where it's actually threatening the foundational legitimacy of the government. Y'know I think part of it is a kind of nihilistic post-modernism. That's the impression I get from a lot of these Republicans when I hear them talk. Like it isn't that objective truth exists in their mind (even if they like to publicly say it does) but rather they see "truth" or "facts" as being in a relationship to power. Now some might see this as holding at least some weight (the old "the ideas of the ruling class are the ruling ideas" quote) but I think its something way more idealistic than that. Like, the basic impression I get of them is this notion: "Well if enough Republicans believe in something, because of our political power, you have to lend it some credence or so."
Their brains filter out any kind of consistency and focus solely on a power dynamic. If, for example, a Democrat escapes a murder charge because extremely compelling evidence point to them being innocent, they'll demand that a Republican who murders a random person in broad daylight be let go because "Well the Democrats had a guy get away with murder!"
Like I argued with a guy ages ago who was insisting that the 2020 election was stolen, and he eventually got to this point of: "Well Al Gore demanded a recount in 2000! Its your fault that this happened! If he just quietly accepted he lost then we wouldn't have to contend that 2020 was stolen!"

One plus one equals three.โ
<Without foreign military financing, procurement in the US would increasingly be financed by Israeli government funds, Hasson elaborated, noting that this trend has already grown since the war in Gaza was launched in the wake of the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack, during which Israel has spent approximately $3.3-$3.4 billion of its own funds in the US on wartime needs.the partnership has already changed

>>2932752>selling the status quo to the base in the same sentencewhat part of the status quo involves going to israel and telling them directly to recognize Palestine?
>Rahm Emanuelโs speech has upset many in Israel. We hear familiar complaints that he does not love Israel, has little understanding of Israelis, and is unwilling to listen to their experiences after October 7. But that misses the mark. Emanuel is holding up a mirror, showing Israel how the developed world now sees it. From Israel, his argument sounds unfair and infuriating. That is beside the point. Whether justified or not, it reflects the reality Israel now faces. Much of the developed world is exhausted by the occupation, by talk of annexing the West Bank, settler terrorism, and by Israelโs inability to take any agency in this cycle of violence. Many American Jews are, too.
>What makes Emanuelโs speech significant is not that he comes from the left or the right, but that he comes from the center. This is not how the American political center normally speaks to Israel. Emanuel is not a campus radical, not a fringe anti-Zionist, and not Zohran Mamdani or Tucker Carlson. He is a Jewish Zionist fixture of the Democratic establishment with deep ties to Israel. A bunch of anons pointed out that supporting the 2-state solution is a way to waste everybody's time handwringing while the Zionist project keeps the ethnic cleansing rolling.
>>2932807>A bunch of anons pointed out that supporting the 2-state solution is a way to waste everybody's timeso why is AIPAC spending so much money and political capital on candidates promising against a Palestinian state? 0 logical sense
>>2932808Because the two state solution is a compromise.
>>2932811To do the two state solution too, you'd need some outside entity governing both Israel and Palestine to make sure it's actually being followed and implemented because of course Israel is not going to follow any agreement and will have all the leverage because the "two state solution" always says that Israel gets to have a military (which the US is legally committed to maintaining the "competitive edge/advantage" or whatever they call it.)
We need to return to the Palestine Mandate. The bongs created this whole mess, so it should be their responsibility to police the Jews and Arabs for all eternity.
>>2932808we are going in circles. Yes, Israelis will never accept a 2 state solution, that's the point. That despite that fact liberal zionists in America still say every year that they "will work towards a 2-state solution" they take no actual steps or put any pressure on the Israeli government when in office.
Also that picture doesn't talk about Israelis, it's American Jews saying they disagree with Israel's ambassador to the United states' language.
>>2932822>it's American Jews saying they disagree with Israel's ambassador to the United states' language. So establishment libs aren't putting all their eggs in the 'anti-bibi' basket then, thanks for agreeing with me
>>2932824I'm sorry anon I think I'm just stupid can you walk me through what you mean by this?
>>2932839>J00z vote bl00 no matter wh00wow what a shocker!
>>2932846Didn't see that part just a bunch of blue with the letter "D" everywhere.

>>2932781>you people really think we're governed by competent supervillians huhIts more like we're ruled by the fail son's and daughters of competent supervillians. They have all this legacy power but have zero understanding on how to wield it. Many such historical cases
>>2932905kind of concerning that the stated reason for not investing is "concerns about their investment strength" and not that they enable a genocide. but it's good they're not investing in them nonetheless. they should also divest from israeli and usa military contractor companies for explicitly anti zionist anti genocide reasons
