The ongoing student, and non-student protests (and also those of Belgium, Italy, and Albania to a weaker extent) are promising signs of revolution, BUT if this is only the start it is the end.
Occuptions, student strikes, riotting, and arson don't overthrow the state only dual power (ex establishing parallel political Institutions) will make these amount to anything beyond a histotical footnote. The only form of dual power that exists is theoractial, and I will give credit to the students attempting to create assembies and trade unions also attempting so, but unless THEY ACTUALLY DO IT the protests will be a fail.
And if these fail the state will just have more of a justifcation to further its surveillance state and prevent anymore uprisings, this is why the USA looks pathetic right now its not because people aren't mad its because the bourgesis state kidnaps anyone who attempts them and aids reformist liberals.
TLDR no organization dual power = these protests will die out and stregthen the bourgesis state in the long-term.
>Albania to a weaker extent
They actually trashed ministry buildings and lit them on fire.
>>2934563>this is why the USA looks pathetic right now its not because people aren't mad its because the bourgesis state kidnaps anyone who attempts them and aids reformist liberals.lol insecure yank needs to copepost because his volk is getting mogged by frenchgods
degenerate americans always talking about their guns yet they are enslaved by a bourgeois capitalist cabal
And?
No, bro, if we just tip over one more garbage can the masses will finally figure it out and rise up and overthrow the state bro. Just trust me, bro
>>2934566what revolutionary government has the protests established
this is what happens when you don't form a mass party during crisis the socdems/stalinists come in and then do nothing

>>2934680Post this whenever that guy asks if wealth is getting redistributed or something
>>2934687Even if the protests accomplish nothing, little things like this still demonstrate a degree of class consciousness in the youth, which is always a good sign as it could radicalize further due to future events. Most revolutions followed years of unrest, riots, coups and failed revolutions until they suceeded. Contradictions take time to build up and societies need time to reach a breaking point. These riots are probably not the revolution, but they are symptoms of a country getting ready for one.
>>2934689you are not a leftist
>>2934698Correct. I'm Marxist.
>>2934701You "people" are insufferable.
>>2934688I guess but its still disappointing since there is a ongoing crisis that could be turned into a revolutionary crisis for the bourgesisie but it isn't. The disorganized nature of the riots (ex burning random buildings not gov ones or banks/financial Institutions) will alienate much of the french population. Theres a reason we all love Luigi but we don't all love Tyler Robinson, its because Luigi targeted the bourgesis class itself, if the protests wish to result in anything they must rapidly organize in a mass party and occupy the BANKS!

>>2934689>>2934710>>2934771mutual aid is part of building dual power, because the alternative to mutual aid is relying on social-democratic handouts and concessions from the bourgeoisie. proletarians should build their own networks dedicated to poverty relief that are outside the purview of the bourgeois state, no?
>but muh hecking lumpen reeeeeeeeproletarians who have fallen so low as to become "lumpen" (rag) proletariat is nothing to balk at. The reserve army of labor pushes proles downward into the declassed and criminal elements. Meanwhile the petty bourgeoisie also lose their wealth, become proletarianized, but bring with them their own reactionary consciousness into the proletariat. I suspect the proletariat is not as static as people think it is, since the proletariat of "normal" times become "lumpen" during crisis and the petty bourgeoisie of "normal" times become "proletarian" during crisis.

>>2934563>this is why the USA looks pathetic right now its not because people aren't mad its because the bourgesis state kidnaps anyone who attempts them and aids reformist liberals. No, it's because even violent protests like the 2020 "Summer of Floyd" didn't accomplish all that much other than electing Joe Biden, who rolled back what little accomplishments were made. Same thing with the protests in Chile a year before that. Leftoids don't want to hear this but spontaneous inchoate protests with little organization amount to nothing. That's what's going to come out of this in the long run. A French version of Gabriel Boric or Joe Biden.

<This society dates from the year 1849. On the pretext of founding a benevolent society, the lumpen proletariat of Paris had been organized into secret sections, each section led by Bonapartist agents, with a Bonapartist general at the head of the whole. Alongside decayed roués with dubious means of subsistence and of dubious origin, alongside ruined and adventurous offshoots of the bourgeoisie, were vagabonds, discharged soldiers, discharged jailbirds, escaped galley slaves, swindlers, mountebanks, lazzaroni,[105] pickpockets, tricksters, gamblers, maquereaux [pimps], brothel keepers, porters, literati, organ grinders, ragpickers, knife grinders, tinkers, beggars — in short, the whole indefinite, disintegrated mass, thrown hither and thither, which the French call la bohème; from this kindred element Bonaparte formed the core of the Society of December 10.>>2934563>Occidental consumer lumpen alienated from the means of production push for lasalleite reforms during times of capitalist decay by chimping out>Eurocums sit on the cuck chair while liberals greenlight the road to fascism once againA Bordigger classic, ziggers don't even need to do anything anymore.

How do you deliniate between a reserve army of labor member and a lumpen?
>>2937013So if it’s legal activity that exploits and worsens other proles it’s fine? If alcohol is legal being a cashier at a liquor store or a bartender is perfectly kosher? Pit bosses and table gambling dealers are fine?
>>2937018Criminality has nothing to do with legality. Getting proles hooked on drugs and getting rich off them is just as bad as a bourgeois capitalist running a sweatshop.
>>2937132So you agree that workers at breweries and distilleries are lumpen
>>2937013Where do you people even live? Or is this whole place just highly paid white-collar types cosplaying? Because most people working blue-collar or low-wage jobs live in the same culture of criminality and scheming as the street crowd. Marx couldn't see this because Engels was funding him the whole time, so he never had to comprehend crime as an income strategy. His critique might have held water in the 1800s Germany, when workers were still fully steeped in Christian traditionalist moralism. In 2026 Baltimore, people with jobs commit crime at the same rate as people without. At every job I've ever worked, a new coworker got into legal trouble every year, some go to jail. My friend's an ironworker, a well-paid union job, and even he tells me how many of the guys on his crew just got out of prison, are fighting cases, or got busted in long-term investigations while working their daily job.
