china's methods were simply to retain and harness capitalists as a class until they outpaced the west as a way to resist imperialism, which they are doing. This is a perfectly viable thing in ML. China took 5 steps back and is now 10 steps forward. As long as the capitalists dont overthrow the state or be liquidated outright there shoudlnt be any major conflict
