>>529429>>529429Ah well, seems more legit. Fair enough. Well, let's see how this ends because it's one deputy. Either the party might split or it is this one alone, he might just jump off the wagon.
This his bio:

>He does not attribute himself to any political movements, emphasizing his own independence and non-partisanship [19] , in Samara he is considered a left-wing politician, according to a number of statements[ what? ] can be attributed to the social democrats with some influence of national democratic views.
>At the end of 2017, he joined the Communist Party [36]. He explained his decision with the desire to "strengthen the party and turn it into an influential political force in the region and an instrument for solving the tasks that our many supporters set before us." However, despite the assumptions of experts that "joining the party makes him the number one candidate for the position of the first secretary of the Samara Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation", the politician very quickly faced noticeable opposition to his advancement within the party both from the party bureaucracy and from business structures. and the authorities that have interests and influence on the internal processes in the party, who tried to challenge his leadership by blocking the receipt of any status in the regional party branch. As a result, Matveev did not take any posts in the regional branch, remaining an ordinary member of the party. [37]> >>529468…like liberals?

>>529474have you seen communists protesting and taking the streets? the only thing I saw was liberals.
>kysOk radlib.
>>529475>>529476Aw, what a downer.
Anyway, seems nothingburger until the central committee actually changes posture.
>>529478>have you seen communists protesting and taking the streets?A coalition of socialist parties (including some actually principled KPRF members) have already issued a statement in opposition to the war, so presumably they have a presence among the antiwar demonstrations.
>the only thing I saw was liberalsHow did you acquire this amazing power to know people's political opinions just by looking at them?
>>529481mmmm meh seems a weird statement, to put it mildly: It's a weak statement.. To put it mildly, he didn't oppose the war, but says he wishes that this thing arrived at this point. Seems very… normal? like no one in here approves this war, and all in here we don't like it, but reached to this point, move on? that kinda point.
>>529484>How did you acquire this amazing power to know people's political opinions just by looking at them?by not seeing red flags, no Lenin shirts, and purely blu/yellow dried hair and harry potter books?
>>529488<Russia is fighting neither Ukraine or Ukrainians>What did they mean by this? The Russian position is that their military operations are not for territorial conquest.
I'm not sure what de-nazification means in practical terms exactly, but my guess is that they are targeting the factions that are unironic Ukranian neonazis alongside with everybody that aligned too closely with the pro US coup in the euromaidan. They are basically promising that after this is over, the Ukraine will remain intact as a country minus the republics like in Donetsk and Luhansk.
