>>579693>I'm sorry anon, multipolarism dies here.I doubt it, unfortunately we now know it's going to be a long new century. But still, multipolarism has arrived as the negation of the negation. We left behind national for international capitalism only to conclude with decolonization, or perhaps inter-imperialist antagonism, unipolarity, and emergence.
It seems forced to rise by the crisis of liberalism in the negation, and Russia has been the most driven away from it. Russia as a global crossroads of sorts has accordingly come to play a very significant role as a pivot between the two, having gone from embracing 1989 to freezing decommunization. With a wavering Russia finally settled on the world and how much it has to converge with the West to modernize, alternatives can now start rising with China as the chief engine. That's why the two are in together so deep.
These global conditions aren't going away anytime soon. You're going to just have to try your best to update theory and not fight too much.
>>579911I have a real soft spot for multipolar/MAGA communist/Haz types, and like half of their theory is correct - but you're not gonna win anyone over with the orthodox ML talk. ML is completely discredited both theoretically, historically, and to the vast majority of Americans.
What multipolars would be wise to do is drop the tankie-adjacent stuff, drop the anti-LGBT stuff and keep everything else. You'd probably win a lot of ppl that way. But keep the ML shit and its a death sentence.

were so back.
>>579920I'm not really sure what you are saying. I see three choices. You can go first campist and decide to shill for liberal-capitalism, you can update the second camp and its formula of class struggle on one side of the colonial contradiction and national struggle on the other, or you can decide finally now is the time for the third camp where we can pronounce that neither democracy nor imperialism is the global contradiction and it's really just capitalism period
This choice can't be made on the basis of American or Western sensibilities…why would it be?
>>580056Of course it's not
