vidrel is GO with juche aesthetics, from 2008 VA compilation on the subject of DPRK
>>16373Yeah i think i remember seeing an interview with GO where they said "we disguise everything behind many layers so no one knows what we're saying and what we belief" but said a few things that newrightists would say
>>11050This gets stuck in my head whenever I see it, am I even allowed to laugh at this as a white guy?… not to be the friend who's too woke.
>>11472I was taught this song in kindergarten… America is one fucked up place.
"Ukraine" by Nezhegol is such a good black metal song
Honestly that Israeli stuff scares the shit out of me because it comes across to me as effective, while the Western right-wing stuff usually doesn't. They get the socially liberal, secular people and the religious Zionists dancing to the same beat over there.
>>16486>They get the socially liberal, secular people and the religious Zionists dancing to the same beat over there.Idk I've gotten the impression that while both see Arabs as subhumans many of the socially liberal pride parade in Tel Aviv types don't have the heart to live under Fortress Israel and the threat of Iranian bombardment. Nor do they particularly like the takeover by religious hardliners who want greater Israel at all costs
>>16480NSBM fans are always like "yeah I'm not a nazi but the riffs man" and then you listen to it and it's the most ass riff ever.
>>11075The politics of Rome is something i don’t really understand. He used to make stuff like Æsthetik der Herrschaftsfreiheit but then changed to some defend Europe shit.
I too like death in June. This whole neo-Volk/ martial industrial thing is a part of nazi aesthetics that kind of appeals to me. It sounds like the echos in the ruins of a long lost empire. Just hope it never returns ^^
>>16550I don't know enough about him to know if this is right (mostly because I find neofolk outside of Di6/C93 to be quite boring) but didn't he go through the anarchist to fascist meme but for real?
I feel the same way about Death in June, at least before he started making the same album but crappier and more derivative each time. When I listen it almost makes me forget how rightoids actually are and the end result of their beliefs because sort of like you said his albums capture that yearning for a lost age and way of life well. I remember during the first months of COVID which was my last year of high school when we locked down I would just sit in my room listening to But, What Ends? and dooming. It really fit things at the time
