The only two substances which should be banned are heroin and tabacco. I have a neighbour who smokes a cigarette like every 2 hours, and all the smoke goes straight into my window.

I like chickens and I would keep them indoors if they did not poop everywhere

>>718603
What about asbestos?

the reason i don't see communist massacres as evil as right wing massacres, is because they usually have diffrent scripts

left wing genocide be like
>the collectivisation reforms by elected chairman ivanov ivnaovichov took away all landowning rights or the ethnic Li hua mountainous buddhist warrior class…causing all their estates to be governed by the local emancipated slave class…after three purges against the aristocratic upper class of animist monks the new collectivized ex-slave farmers did not meet quota due to lack of industrialization, wartolls, red terror, infamy, and general lack of profit motive due to not having a buddhist overlord telling them what to do causing a largewide famine only worsened by the former monastery owners burning all crops and taking all gold with them to repiblic of china…new chairman replacing shot chairman fixes the food deficit a bit too late but stabilizing it

right wing massacres be like
>and then the fucking death squad for racial hygiene and profit came to the random rural village of Sibegcov and killed everyone using general secretary of culling the scum department Major charlie "you are subhumans" manstien's favorite method of rounding up women children and men, burning the children first in front of their parents, raping the women in front of their husbands and killing the husbands in front of the wives…also they dragged corpses under tank treads because the death squad members thought it was funny and hilarious

A thought I had recently as well.

I believe that there's nothing geniune in social media, and it is a grand tragedy when a 'loving couple' etc. shares themselves to the 'audience'. It is as if their union can only validate itself in relation to this audience… now their shared relation is pluralized for the appetite of the audience and for me it loses its once-dearest particularity. This seems to me a tragic, and in a sense polygamic end.

Is almost 12PM and I spend entire day fucking around, not doing anything. Currently procrastimating on taking a shower by watching Cumtown clips.

>>718620
most relationships throughout human history have always been performative

Have any of you guys jerked off to your self in the mirror?

i have never watched a single anime except gunsmith cats from a previous thread. and i keep feeling far behind in the medium but no idea where to start or what era i should stick to, 2000s meme era like pic related or darling in the franxxx 2010s era or the current 2020s anime or if i should retvrn to 80s animu..

>>718657
aand what's the best sites to stream from or pirate from animu, mostly stream online

>>718658
No idea about pirate streaming, I just torrent what I watch.
Pretty much everything you could want is there.
Also, watch Gundam. The original, it's good.

>>718657
The first anime I watched was Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate. If you like action, Hellsing Ultimate is the best thing I could recommend, dripping with style. It is a good example of something that uses its medium to full potential, Hellsing could not be anything other than anime (and manga), you could not make Hellsing live action adaptation, or a book.

>>718657
There is an illusion of free will…. But you should choose Lucky Star
I just choose what I wanna watch next based on the mal description, or if I saw a funny meme of it recently, era isn't that important.

>>718661
Second this, not really any reason to bother with any other sites for anime piracy purposes. As for streaming?? I've unironically only ever used youtube, actually quite a bit of bootlegged stuff ends up on there and lasts a while, not terrible quality either.

>>718657
The first anime I watched was the 1st season of One Punch Man. I was still in high school at time and thought it was good but it did not get me into anime. Only during college when I read the Berserk manga and watched the 97 anime did I actually start getting into medium. For newbies I would recommend the classics, such as Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Death Note, and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

>>718603
cum metal? is that a HEALTH reference

>>718657
>and i keep feeling far behind in the medium
you should continue being behind in the medium. I use piracy.moe to find streaming websites but anime is mostly garbage nowadays, or perhaps i've outgrowned the medium, not sure which

>>718677
It has always been mostly garbage, its just that garbage gets forgotten so all we see when we reminiscent of past is the good ones.

>>718680
i mean i tried to watch the acclaimed ones like jujustsu kaisen or demon slayer and they're unwatchable trash, demon slayer in particular was so unbelievably boring i was losing my mind, i watched 8 chapters of that shit with my sister, i do NOT understand why is it so popular

>>718688
anon, your gf loves you for who you are from the looks of it, you should just cherish it. also you should know it's not hard to get good in bed, maybe try experimenting with tadalafil and learn how to do cunnilingus and you'll be above and beyond most men sexually speaking. hope this eases your anxiety a lil bit

>>718686
Now you know how I felt about Dragonball franchise.

>>718598
this snuffing only for me

GET THE FUCK OUTSIDE.

i wanna die and don't think that i'll achieve the stuff i want. good game i guess

Weebs suck

Do people really like doing things? I don't particularly enjoy doing anything, at least not anymore but I don't think I even enjoyed things that much when I did enjoy them. All I want to do now is just sit around and stare in solitude. But then that also gets boring. It all seems futile. Just go to work, get exhausted and rest and repeat. But I think that's all I want to do. Maybe getting sex would be good but is too risky and involves too much socializing and you probably need your own place anyways especially if you're a guy. Like with any pleasure the cost seems to be too high for what you receive. Whatever

I keep fantasizing about my head being struck with a pickax (not an icepick!). It gets stuck in my skull and as its wielder, whose identity is unknown to me, tries to jerk it out, he steps on my head with his heavy boot. Finally he manages to get it out, but not without tearing out a big chunk of my skull with it.

Everyone likes to beat up their past self for flaws but nobody ever bothers to think about if their past selves would tolerate their future selves flaws.
Maturity isn’t a straight line.
For every one vice you break, you may get another.
Lot of times, there’s remission.

>>718870
This.
Irony is, low risk pleasures are the most antagonized.
People complain about “instant gratification” but there’s a lot of more consequential setbacks for activities involving delayed gratification.

It’s much easier to produce realistic AI sex dolls but people are too pissy about it.
They’d rather men embarrass themselves with shitty pick up lines or lifestyle products just get an ounce of imagined positive attention from females

I’ve come to realize that people don’t want freedom.
They want favor.

wtf, this quiz is so sad. It's not quirky and cute to be isolated and anti-social, it's depressing and extremely unhealthy. Humans are social animals, if we don't socialize we get profoundly fucked. There's a reason why solitary confinement is considered to be a torture method. When you shut yourself in for prolonged periods of time you're not exercizing your personality trait, you're torturing yourself and you don't even know it. Even worse, you're telling yourself that you want this torture because this is the way you are.

>but i don't want to go outside, and ppl are complicated and annoying and so forth and I suck at talking

>>719399
Yes you’re right that willful agoraphobia is bad. However, “humans are social animals” is a terrible justification used for institutionalized socialization.

I think socialization is important but at the same time, people are not willing acknowledge nuance and differentiation in differing social types especially for childhood development.

>>719399
I think if everyone but me disappeared tomorrow I'd become the most outgoing person around because their would be no one else around so I could act freely without much restraints. It does sometimes feel good to converse with others more so online like here but I often feel too self conscious to say anything or often I have no idea what people are talking since they talk about things I have no clue about since my experiences in many parts of life are minimal. Although when I do say stuff I tend to info dump and reveal that I know quite a bit about certain things but I typically try to end conversations as quickly as possible. Still I wish for everyone in the universe to suddenly disappear to finally feel free.

>>719469
Fucking this.
Most people will never understand that not everyone needs the sociophysical prescience of others to feel complete.
Especially since people are judgmental and wanna force their preferences onto you.
Being self-absorbed isn’t a problem.
I’d rather people be self-absorbed.
The problem is, people are too interested in others faux pas.

You have no sense of self-value.
You’ve been trained to think that making yourself look good and feel good is automatically egotistical.

Also, it may be because you want others to affirm you rather than making that affirmation for yourself.

>>719515
That image should be made a meme to help encourage mens mental health awareness.
Methinks the real reason why men suffer more mental illness than women isn’t always due to biology but rather sociology.
Men are expected to be warriors and jesters.
They’re not allowed to be beauties.

>>719139
>to be honest i don't think my past self would tolerate present me's flaws either, although the reasons for that might be not entirely "correct" from my present point of view in some cases

Fair point. I also would like to say that most past-self incidents that are labeled “cringe” aren’t even that scandalous.
Like, making a non-edgy joke or liking some cutesy quirky entertainment product or failing a task despite putting in effort or not realizing that someone was flirting with you.

It seems more “woulda coulda shoulda”

I also believe that people seem to think that their current age is the entirety of their existence/identity.

Humans are cognitively blind to the passage of time, that’s why we always say “time speeds up with age”.

>true, i've accepted that this will never end and the self-criticism is profoundly beneficial but i should learn how to get over the sheer emotionalizing of it, the excess emotions and self-disgust are doing more harm than good i suppose

I’ve learned that people are motivated more by shame than anything else.
Shame is the ultimate moral rein of the soul.

People have no problem with being burned alive, beaten up, shot, etc if they think it would give them a boost to their reputation

Shame is more likely motivated by what makes one look good rather than what should be good.

Oh well, this is why I prefer to live in an alternate sociophysical reality if I should come back as a human for the second time.

In an effort to stop being stupid useless piece of shit NEET I have bought a dairy into which I intend to always write my tasks for following days, as in theory this should help with time management and motivate to actually do them. Although "tasks" is rather lofty term, most of it is going to be basic functionality stuff like wake up at normal time, eat healthy, wash my hair, etc. Hopefully once I get the basics covered the productive stuff will follow.

not so long ago i quit smoking cold turkey after realizing it does not go well with my social "appearance" and was a bit surprised when active or recurring smokers ("serial quitters") said it's extremely hard for them to kick the habit, even if they smoked less than i used to do which was quite common

>People have no problem with being burned alive, beaten up, shot, etc if they think it would give them a boost to their reputation

human pregnancy is the ultimate manifestation of this. not as much in the first world anymore with the advent of hygiene and a great reduction in maternal/infant mortality but it still permanently dislocates the abdominal organs and reduces grey matter in the brain with no recovery possible for the latter. look up pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, etc
mass suicides of women belonging to nations losing in a war that were doomed to be "war spoils" were common throughout history, individual and group suicides of women in war-torn and/or reactionary nightmare societies still are

also true but like the above example with smoking it can also be materially beneficial if the cultural expectations are not built (or, at least in a particular case, do not touch those that were built) around idealist and performative self-flagellation in the name of religion/dying for porky

>I prefer to live in an alternate sociophysical reality

>>719658
Human pregnancy can cause loss of grey matter and cause diabetes?

Maybe for malnourished women but regardless this is why I say that procreation should be subject to mandatory health screening.

Also you’re forgetting postpartum depression.
Pregnancy is no joke.

Humans need to stop promoting procreation as the ultimate goal of human individuality.

Also, as for:
> also true but like the above example with smoking it can also be materially beneficial if the cultural expectations are not built (or, at least in a particular case, do not touch those that were built) around idealist and performative self-flagellation in the name of religion/dying for porky

You know how people say “money is the root of all evil”?
They’re wrong.
It’s idealism.
Greed is the result of idealism.
People love money not for itself but the implications of what it can do for them.

Growing up we’ve been taught that love is good, lust is bad. I’m here to tell you that lust is bad, but love is much worse.
Why?
Because idealism.

Reactionary schools of thought are the result of idealism.

>>719672
>I say that procreation should be subject to mandatory health screening.
most people that want to become parents and have the widely available means to go through a health screening do that willingly on their own, granted they take parenting seriously
i don't know how you would stop the ones that don't from participating in reproduction
>Also you’re forgetting postpartum depression.
i would consider postpartum psychosis to be worse, as a nosological entity quite similar to the now-deprecated "drapetomania" diagnosis or the eternal classic "wandering womb" of "hysteria"
>Reactionary schools of thought are the result of idealism.

just interacted with an idealist in depth at work. i can not for the love of my life reconcile this fucking level of naive idealism and banal living.
either an absolute fucking bullshiter lying through their teeth or extremely high on cope granted that they mentioned "going through much worse things in life" when i apologized for being slightly rude and that it "does not affect them at all" but at the same time claiming to "suffer a lot of great physical and emotional pain" from hearing people on the street talking bad words (not even directed at them but it's inevitable to hear them all the time if you're spending ANY time in public"

also claiming that
>everyone can do hard things on their first try if they believe enough ;) if you're not then you're simply not trying at all and basically a horrible person with zero morals. yes even if you went through hardship, poverty, war, raised by lowlife alcoholics or all 4 at the same time ;)

this is a valuable experience because they claimed this to be their genuine and honest outlook on life and other people

>>720767 (me)
this is even more fucking ridiculous because in analyzing my actions (what could have possibly lead towards me acting rude in the first place) i just remembered we talked this very morning about people that can't refuse treats even if this very directly leads to their subsequent physical illness in cases of mild food allergies/diabetes/intolerance/other restrictions. they seemed to rationalize the actions of those people because "it can happen, sometimes the will for treat is just too powerful" and complained about one such aliment themselves and how they still eat the upsetting food despite
i agreed that this can happen but not just solely because of "treat > health", for example if you feel shitty after a heavy meal you're probably more likely to eat it before the night's sleep than for breakfast and leave home crawling. they did agree on this

although a part of their explanation of why swear words are so horrible was quite literally
<it makes astral body weak, why do you want to make your astral body weak when you say this anon, please stop hurting every astral plane body in your vicinity you're really cruel and immoral and basically incapable of controlling yourself
<i feel ACTUAL PHYSICAL PAIN IN MY CHEST. you really just hurt me like a repeated beating with a heavy object. can't you control yourself better lmao it's so ez, everyone can do that. yes i hear swear words every single day when commuting and yes I FEEL PAIN ALL THE TIME everyone i see is a cruel disgusting vermin. i try to not listen but the swear words of complete strangers HURT ME SO MUCH
<dont feel guilt over this tho ;) you're literally a savage but i wish you well ;)
so given that "le astral plains" is their actual argumentation the same logic of materialism could "magically" just not apply to "the astral plane which is (your) emotions and sovl"

me and who?

People can get mad at me all they want for this but money really can't buy happiness. I just landed an amazing job and I still feel miserable and anxious every day because the friends I have are increasingly distant, I'm too scared to go outside and meet new people, which also makes me unable to chase any of my dreams which I wouldn't be able to do consistently anyway because having a job gives me no time to do so. I don't even know what the fuck I'm supposed to spend extra money on and saving up for early retirement just seems idiotic when I'd have nothing meaningful to fill that time with.
So yes, money can't buy happiness, but know that nothing else can either. If you grow up a loser you'll be a loser the entire rest of your life and no amount of platitudes will change that.

>>721400
I largely agree with you but how did you get friends to begin with and how did you end up with an "amazing job" as you put it? I think for some people the time and energy needed to put effort into life is excessive and not worth the effort still depending on your age it still might pay our but the older you get the less appealing it becomes.

>money cannot but happiness

Money buys security which makes happiness.
People expect money to directly create happiness for them instead doing it for themselves.

I don’t disagree with your opinion but I don’t agree with your depression despite having a good paying job.

But I think the real problem is that people are flooded with propaganda about “being created for a purpose”.
So it makes people think they’re superheroes being denied of their birthright to “save the day”.

Most people are mediocre in their wit, looks, assets, talents, and hygiene.
And that’s fine because it’s the average.
The problem is, people think themselves as too good for their own station in life, not understanding the sacrifice it takes to get to a higher station.

Everything you mentioned is unfortunately common in boomers, especially if they’re religious.

And yet, when their children exhibit these same
Behaviors, they accuse the children of being “brainrotten by participation trophies”

THE COMING being is whatever[1] being. In the Scholastic enumeration of transcendentals (quodlibet ens est unum, verum, bonum seu perfectum- whatever entity is one, true, good, or perfect), the term that, remaining unthought in each, conditions the meaning of all the others is the adjective quodlibet. The common translation of this term as “whatever” in the sense of “it does not matter which, indifferently” is certainly correct, but in its form the Latin says exactly the opposite: Quodlibet ens is not “being, it does not matter which,” but rather “being such that it always matters.” The Latin always already contains, that is, a reference to the will (libet). Whatever being has an original relation to desire.

The Whatever in question here relates to singularity not in its indifference with respect to a common property (to a concept, for example: being red, being French, being Muslim), but only in its being such as it is. Singularity is thus freed from the false dilemma that obliges knowledge to choose between the ineffability of the individual and the intelligibility of the universal. The intelligible, according to a beautiful expression of Levi ben Gershon (Gersonides), is neither a universal nor an individual included in a series, but rather “singularity insofar as it is whatever singularity.” In this conception, such-and-such being is reclaimed from its having this or that property, which identifies it as belonging to this or that set, to this or that class (the reds, the French, the Muslims)–and it is reclaimed not for another class nor for the simple generic absence of any belonging, but for its being-such, for belonging itself. Thus being-such, which remains constantly hidden in the condition of belonging (“there is an x such that it belongs to y”) and which is in no way a real predicate, comes to light itself: The singularity exposed as such is whatever you want, that is, lovable.

Love is never directed toward this or that property of the loved one (being blond, being small, being tender, being lame), but neither does it neglect the properties in favor of an insipid generality (universal love): The lover wants the loved one with all of its predicates, its being such as it is. The lover desires the as only insofar as it is such–this is the lover’s particular fetishism. Thus, whatever singularity (the Lovable) is never the intelligence of some thing, of this or that quality or essence, but only the intelligence of an intelligibility. The movement Plato describes as erotic anamnesis is the movement that transports the object not toward another thing or another place, but toward its own taking-place–toward the Idea.

Also, social media is genuine by allowing people to post their grandest faux pas for the world to see.

I think all jobs suck and I generally prefer jobs where I'm away from people. So I guess I could agree with you in that regard because it would be terrible for me too. However greeters mostly just stand there telling people to have a good day which seems pretty easy physically speaking. Although people are bound to think something is wrong with you since they put you as greeter as it is the easiest job there. They'll probably think you're mentally disabled or slow or something.

I really don't understand why so many people consider eating dogs to be barbaric but are okay with eating pigs, even though pigs are much more intelligent than dogs.

>consider eating dogs to be barbaric but are okay with eating pigs
unless you're a muslim or a jew, they see all three as icky

anyway it goes back to antiquity, pig and boar meat was easier to preserve and grow than beef, and they ate almost anything you threw at them, so many cultures in europe, not just latins but mainly northern europeans domesticated the animal for consumption, from there it became as "food" as chickens and cows, their intelligence no one cares much for

>What hardly anyone knows: in Germany, too, dogs were killed in state-controlled slaughterhouses until almost four decades ago. It was not until 1986 that the killing of dogs and cats for meat was banned by law. The taste for dog meat does not only extend to Asia, as in some cantons of Switzerland, people still like to eat dogs meat.

>But the tradition of eating dogs is still maintained in Western Europe, especially in the rural areas of Switzerland and Austria, as well as in Belgium and France, where dogs are served discreetly on request in certain gourmet restaurants. Dogs and cats are still eaten in parts of Spain these days. \

>Before 1986, anyone in Germany could legally slaughter dogs, including their own. In addition to meat, dog fat was particularly popular because it was known to be an effective medicine against respiratory diseases and there was actually evidence of a tuberculostatic effect. These slaughters by no means took place in a lawless context, but were expressly permitted until 1986 as long as express regulations were adhered to. The owner had to prove in advance that the animal was legally purchased and had to pay the slaughter fee. The slaughter itself took place in separate rooms within the slaughterhouse - for epidemic hygiene reasons - as did the mandatory meat inspection.

>The dog fat and meat were sold in both legal and illegal markets. There were black markets in many cities, for example in Hamburg in the Schanzenviertel there was an illegal dog market called “Fido”. By the way, dog fat was also available in pharmacies until 1986, but was always sold out due to the high demand.

>By the way, in 1982 (!) the price for dog meat and horse meat in Munich and Dresden was 50 Pfennigs per kilo, while beef and pork cost 1.24 to 1.52 Marks. Due to the attractive price, dog meat was sold throughout Germany, but some areas stood out in particular. The dog was often eaten in the pan, especially in southern Germany, Silesia, Saxony, Thuringia and Brandenburg. Munich in particular was considered one of the strongholds of dog eaters in the German Empire,

Does anyone here ever wonder if they washed their hands after they used the toilet? It frequently happens to me and it just happened to me. I'm pretty sure I washed my hands but I always wonder if I really did. I usually try to rub some hand sanitizer on my hands just in case even I'm also certain I did wash. Yet I'm never sure?
