I think one of the biggest problems I have had with the cute girl from the theatre class is that even though she is extremely cute and I am very attracted to her, she doesn’t really share any common interests with me. The cute girl from the theatre class is a literature/creative writing major that writes short stories and is generally into artsy/creative stuff and is not super political (she seems like a left-liberal democrat, as I would be extremely shocked if she was a republican, but politics are not the center of her identity and I wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t even vote, lol) while I am a history major that is into leftist politics. This combined with my shitty autistic social skills has made it very difficult to have successful small talk with her outside of when we were paired together for a scene. So if it really flops when I try to talk to her again, I think I am going to go to the history and/or left-wing politics clubs (the only left-wing politics club at my campus is the college democrats, so I am going to have to water my political views down to just being a bernie/aoc-style social democrat, lol) and see if I can find a girl their that I have something in common with. She obviously won’t be as cute as the cute girl from the theatre class, but it would help my social skills with women a lot to have conversations with a girl that I have something in common with. Either it will actually work out and I can get a girlfriend, or it doesn’t work but at least I will learn how to act more normal around girls so by the time I am independent in 3-4 years (or maybe as soon as when my masters program starts in two years) I can successfully get a girlfriend. I also will never develop emotional attachment to a girl until it is extremely clear that she actually likes me. However, I am not going to deny that I will always have a special place in my heart for the cute girl from the theatre class because she is/was my first crush, and the only beautiful young woman I have ever loved. As cringey as it sounds I am still holding out hope for a miracle to happen with her, but I know that the anons here are right when they say it is impossible and I am psychologically prepared for the sad inevitable failure with her.

One time at a place I worked at I remember a bunch of my co-workers thought I had put a poem on this one girls vehicle. Apparently several of them suspected me but I'm not sure why. This chick was probably out my league as she was a very skinny blonde around 6'3 model tier looking chick. She wasn't my favorite looking chick at work but I couldn't deny she was stunning. This was like 12 or 13 years ago so she's probably 30 or so now and I'm over 40 so yeah there was a bit of an age gap. I didn't leave the poem on her car I don't know who did it but the reason I was suspected was because I seemed like the smartest guy at the place. I was the most educated there as that place didn't really require any education as it was basically grunt work. That gets me thinking that most of the chicks I've had infatuations with were largely born in the 90s and now most of them have probably gotten married or had kids or both.
How do I deal with the fact that the only emotional and intellectual connection I feel with a girl is with a fat chick, despite having dated girls way hotter than her in the past.
