Fashion is bourgeois
is there a single depop seller out there who will actually give clothing measurements when you ask instead of treating it like an act of molestation
i cant believe raf simons was ever popular and his clothes resold for tens of thousands of dollars lmao, raf put direct references to the things he liked onto his clothes because he wasn't skilled / smart / talented enough to do otherwise unlike other designers who understand how to transform those references into something new
raf likes new order so what does he do? he makes a jacket in the style that was popular in manchester at the time (fishtail parka) and then literally puts a new order graphic onto it. there's nothing new or unique about this jacket. he literally just found a vintage one and copied it, then printed a graphic on it. the only reason it's a "raf simons" fish tail parka is because he wrote his name on the inside of it. no real design work or transformation has taken place. his referencing is extremely direct
Low-rise pants shouldn't even exist.
>>46519>>46526I'm going to guess they thought of either Stirner or Spamton.
>>46566>HardAnon, what? He's not even wearing knees.
Fashion-fags get more ridiculous every year.
Anyone else notice how shit the quality of store bought clothes are now (at least in the uk)? Like i used to buy tshirts and collared shirts from places like m&s and next but after a few wash cycles they go to shit (for collared shirts the fabric goes loose and starts leaving hug gaps around the neckline and tshirt collars become crumpled and warped).
Feels like you have to shell out shitloads of money just to get anything that'll last more than 6 months
>>46821should add it's the OSCill X Feiyue Labourer jacket
>>47185Is that from otome? What is the source on the image?
I dress hipster and I don't give a fuck. Flannels, corduroy denim are all I can find at the thrift store and I'm not paying a cent to fashion porkies.
Wearing a proper wool coat feels especially nice now that old people all wear hoodies and tech puffers.
>>47234where do you even live where it's cold enough to wear wool coats in the winter, i start sweating in 5 degree weather
>>47248shitty bait, there is nothing superior about making clothes that fall apart in 3 months to meet the demands on the market
inevitable? sure
but it's not any better
>>47251>fall apart in 3 monthsAs if that's something new. If anything, cheap shit shit has gotten more durable and gets produced in less wasteful run. More and more often I'll thrift something and my partner will clutch pearls about it being a fast fashion brand, but if it's my vibe, natural fibers, and seems sturdy I don't care.
>>47266that's a huge recession indicator if i ever saw one
hate these people who live in places like new york throw random thrifted pieces together and act like theye some arbiter of fashion taste on social media. annoying shit
>>47266I find it hilarious that shit like New Balance and Asics are considered in style. I grew up as a dorky cross country runner who wore those shoes all the time both casually and for sport, looking like a nerd. So now seeing fashion dipshits jerk off over them feels real silly.
How ya'll feel about jewelery? Can marxists flash ice? I never cared for it, but if i had money Id wear a little bit. Nothing crazy.
thifting is in such a bleak fucking state rn. i think its safe to say theyve dried up, especially if you dont live in a posh area, even worse if youre a third worlder getting sloppy seconds. feels like just outright working at mcdonalds or door dash with the time i waste scouring thrift shops and save the money would be a better option at this point
>>47452im considering it especially for warmer seasons to accessorize whenever i cant wear more layers
