Canada is uniquely isolating. European countries at least have dense urban villages and towns where people can still expect to find things to do outside of working mindlessly. In this shithole, you’ll be lucky to even see someone outside walking for reasons that aren’t fitness related. Otherwise, most people stay indoors for months on end (especially during winters) and largely don’t do anything past working and sleeping all day (I’m not making this up, life here is genuinely that sterile). Small towns are even more egregious with the banality and lack of things to do.

Albertans aren't gonna do shit. Especially when they find out they won't be keeping the oil. The whole Republic of Western Canada thing ain't happening.
