>>2610685>Revisionist leaders dissolved by fiat after a referendum CLEARLY demonstrated that the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of each constituent SSR wanted to remain inAnd there was almost no popular resistance against it. Nationalist rallies vastly outnumbered whatever the preservationists could muster. Yeltsin, Kravchuk and Shushkevich weren't just revisionists sneakily doing things behind the curtains, they were open nationalist counter-revolutionaries and they enjoyed widespread support.
The Chinese model of state construction that allows for national and cultural diversity but without SSRs and constructing nationalisms out of thin air just becase won out, I fear.
>>2610697>And there was almost no popular resistance against itbuddy yeltsin literally sent tanks to shell communist holdouts in the parliament
>>2610685>part of what made the USSR possible in the first place was giving the SSRs sovereigntyYes, at first. By the end of WW2 situation had changed and USSR should have worked even harder to officially unite the separate peoples.
>>2610687CPC didn't split up China into SSRs though. Also CPC inadvertently got the benefits of imperialist China defacto imposing a single Han ethnicity on thousands of smaller ethnicities over thousands of years. USSR lost because it kept the nationalities separate on a government level and ideologically wanted them to be separate nations culturally. They failed.
>>2610689Why didn't they call it tortoise island instead
>>2610685I mean the russians chauvinists destroyed the USSR so nationalism was kind of the problem
>>2610704so the CPC's victory was not their own. it was Imperial China's. and the USSR's failure was not their own, it was Imperial Russia's.
>>2610702The defenders of the House of Soviets were heroes, don't get me wrong, but they weren't that numerous on a grand scale, didn't spark a truly widespread resistance and many of them weren't committed communists or USSR restorationists, just people bewildered by Yeltsin's rapacious policies.
It was also two years after the Belovezha Accords.
>>2610713russian, ukrainian and belarusian chauvinists*

>>2610623its because non-qualified hegemony in itself is indeed "le bad", the type of hegemony you could call a "socialist hegemony" its not the same thing. The endgame of "socialist hegemony" is the state withering away, could we speak of a "hegemon" (in the sense of how we usually say the US is the hegemon, for example) existing in that case?

>>2610723The real movement
>>2610704The post-war USSR effectively considered itself to have one Soviet nation. The nationalism that arose post-87 was a surprise to the Soviet politicians who thought that there was little difference by that point.

I have some solid insider reports that the latest GDP numbers were cooked. In fact even the richfag spending was inflated. In reality a lot of richfags are moving to new zealand, australia, argentina, UAE, and pacific islands.
Also trump is panicking hard because he fears sabotage at FBI and that Thiel wants to replace him with Vance since internal GOP polling revealed that Vance is deeply unpopular with everyone. MAGA is dead and the GOP doesn't know who to push out for 2028 and they know thry will lose the midterms hard. You will know shit got serious when Trump will fire Bondi and Patel on 26th of december.
>>2610723>retard on retard violence.good. next, arm them with some rubber sticks so they don't hurt each other while they fight.
>>2610752>You will know shit got serious when Trump will fire Bondi and Patel on 26th of december.doubtful anyone will get fired. during the first term, trump fired tens of appointed officials, looking for
yesmen, now that he could vet them during biden's term, he gets the loyalists he needed. I am seriously not seeing him firing them.
>>2610676I can't believe that we haven't seen the faces of these deadly "terrorists".
>>2610635How often do the MAGA cucks claim this is fake?
>>2610752>In reality a lot of richfags are moving to new zealand, australia, argentina, UAE, and pacific islands.and they'll of course be the last to die for the crimes of this government

the USA is not ready for proletarian revolution. and the existing system does benefit them. i think the reason USAnians get triggered when that gets point out is because they feel like the struggle economically and therefore they think that means they don't benefit at all. but they don't understand that the people who make that argument aren't grading on a curve. on a global scale it is just a fact that USAnians have a better standard of living than the majority of people in the world. and the systems (financial ones like the IMF and political ones like the UN and imposed governments around the world) that cosmopolitan capitalists have established around the world serve to grant them a higher standard of living and privileges even if that is not their primary purpose. the fascists in the USA will and do point out that the emancipation of the third world will result in a dismantling of the status quo and therefore a momentary reduction of the standard of living of USA citizens and the majority of the first world population.
bumpin thredzzzz
>>2610799>they feel like the struggle economically and therefore they think that means they don't benefit at allbefore you erect this tiresome strawman for the 10,000th time just in time for a new thread, understand that there are many of us ITT who has pointed out that there is a spectrum of "benefit" and at the very bottom, even if burger workers allegedly benefit from cheap imports, the imperialism which makes that possible is entirely fueled by a trillion dollar (and going up every year) military budget, a budget which is paired alongside domestic privatizatoin, austerity, deregulation, union busting, etc. We also have a school shooter problem, a fentanyl problem, a climate problem, all of which are either not made better by imperialism, or are made even worse by imperialism. The "benefits" are massively outweighed by the drawbacks, including the very obvious drawback of the entire world seeing the American people, rather than the American ruling class, as the enemy, as the American ruling class flees to bunkers in New Zealand, just in time for the chickens to come home to roost. But go ahead. Ramble for the thousandth time with your barely concealed discouragement of revolutionary defeatism in the USA, the very tactic Lenin advocated for proles in imperialist countries..
>>2610777I had the misfortune last night of watching Eight Crazy Nights and good god that was one of the worst holiday specials I've ever seen
>>2610715The biggest strengths of Leninism is Vanguardism and Centralism. Vanguardism brings communists to power. Centralism actually keeps the state and workers under control. Too many separate nations effectively undermines central control over the state and gives power to capitalists. So USSR succeeded and CCCP maintained power when it ignored nationalism like when it invaded Hungary. But because the USSR let small nationalism fester and never addressed the deeper issues of internal division it ultimately lost control. CPC on the other hand had a different unification building project. It also had the inbuilt advantage of being over 90% Han. Russians were only 51% of the USSR on the other hand.
>>2610721Whatever you call it socialism needs to coordinate all the working class together to succeed and having one central power is the most efficient way to do it.
>>2610736Then why did Russian language only reach fluency of 30% in some republics by 1989? It should have been 100% Russian fluency in all republics as well as the entire eastern block.
>>2610805>I had the misfortune last night of watching Eight Crazy Nightsthat's a technical foul

>>2610713it was the revisionism of the CPSU leadership, not the sovereignty (i.e. nationalism) of the constituent SSRs which was the problem. again. because the march 1991 referendum showed that the actual population of the nations, plural, did not want the dissolution

>>2609762I'm having trouble finding records of any gas station selling regular this cheap, even with a promotion. "The Works" car washes cost 16 dollars though, so lets assume you get the maximum amount of fuel with that promotion, 25 gallons. The real cost of fuel per gallon is 1.89 and you get an automated car wash thrown in. The value becomes worse if you get any lower amount of fuel.
Again though the lowest price for fuel I'm seeing at any bucees location is 1.89 in the first place, at gas stations directly next to the largest american fuel refineries. So they're actually just getting this trucked directly from the refinery to the station with basic additives. Historically these stations trend two to two and a half dollars less per gallon than the national average.
Now what is the benefit of low fuel costs to the average person compared to the fact that they can't get healthcare, or own a home, or take more than 48 hours off work more than five times a year? Assuming they have a job and aren't already homeless and living in the car they're putting this cheap fuel in.
