>>2595789Thread in which we discuss the latest imperialist war
638 posts and 79 image replies omitted.maduro is in jail rn. cope.
>>2623002Pay attention, raider. I demanded sources from both sides. Both sides are guilty of this right now.
>>2623013So show me a body
>>2623012I would be skeptical about this. I haven't seen any videos of the Congress yet
>>2623011Any idea on how locals are reacting to this?
>>2623006They did this with people like Nasrallah.
>>2622998<Calling Putin "Cucktin" for years>Gets called a "Putinist."Get out of here, tourist. You'll get more enjoyable reactions from Twitter or Russian Telegram, I assure you.
>>2623016I don't really see why Petro would be amplifying the extent of the attacks on Venezuela tho.
On a side note why is this president on a groupchat called "Valorant team"
The vice-president just demanded a proof of life of Maduro. They don't know where he is.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nN3vtMzxTo>>2622984Why not declare war though?
>>2623018I live in the most opposition ridden areas of the whole country so yeah, they are quiet happy about it.
Don't know about the status at Ccs
>>2623025>I live in the most opposition ridden areas of the whole country so yeah, they are quiet happy about it.Traitors! They better be in the minority.
>>2623023If we declare a formal war the US Congress will respond in kind and thus give Trump the A-OK to do whatever he wants. We aren't taking the bait man
>>2623025Your country gets struck by another country while there are potential civilian causalities and they are happy? What a unironic cucked nation.
Same reason we didn't arrest guaido when he was still here
>>2623024Yeah I realized, wtf kind of GC is the president of colombia in?
Or is he just reposting random shit?
WE EATIN NEW BREAD
>>2623031>>2623014You're not the redflag from /ukr/. You've been larping as him and don't even write like him. Your style and emoticons have more in common with King Lear, someone known to be hostile to the real redflag. And your so-called balanced skepticism is some token source request for the most absurd Qanon-tier cope:
>>2622906 >>2623028US and neoliberal supporters are just pure evil cucks.
>>2623021It's not a matter of Petro exaggerating the magnitude of the attack, he probably is shocked and not checking what actually is happening. Still I ain't gonna deny it, it just that if the Congress had been hit videos of it would be everywhere
>>2622680>Arrested MaduroFor what? He hasn't committed any crimes and isn't under the jurisdiction of the United States regardless.
Assuming they actually did this, what would they even do with Maduro? Put him on trial? Once again, for what crimes? Is Trump aware that you can't arrest people for no liking you? I cannot fathom why they would arrest Maduro instead of just assassinating him.
Stop doomposting. It ain't over til it's over.
The chavistas have a lot of armed militias. Here is how the war can go down:
1. The USA is now using its air power, against this the militias can do nothing.
2. At some point, the USA needs boots on the ground. These are either us soldiers or local forces. Without this, no regime can be established.
3. The militias will enact urban and jungle guerilla attacks on these forces, making establishing total control impossible. They will have plenty of operating room out of the interior.
4. The USA might be able to establish a rumo regime on the coast, that is where the oil is. This is their primary goal.
Scenario A. Long term rump regime.
The guerrillas can enact guerilla attacks on oil infrastructure using smuggled weapons. This will do the following
>Tie up the USA navy in patrolling the Caribbean.
>China will have to step up and set up smuggled supplies of suicide drones and other material
>If this drags on, the USA will not benefit at all from the oil, won't have gotten an advantage, and have its military spread thin, allowing for more manouvering in the middle east and far east by local powers. This will not be a major economic cost to china either. Then becomes a war of attrition between the following:
>The capacity of chavismo local forces to continue a costly war for independence
>The capacity for local opposition to keep dying for a foreign power (low)
>The ability of the us to keep justifying the death of more and more us soldiers to its own political elite and population
>The willingness of the Chinese to have some balls and expand political influence to keep the smuggle routes open
>The ability of the trump regime to work with Latin American cartels to crack down on Chinese supply lines and assets in the surrounding area
Scenario B, chavismo is a farce
The chavismos crumple immediately and the USA is able to quickly establish a friendly fascist regime with the primary goal of securing the oil.
An unlikely scenario given their recent track record in both Venezuela itself and countries like Bolivia. It is unlikely that the people of Venezuela, who have shown so much resilience, will be as defeatist as the westerners in this thread who immediately put a gun in their mouth at the first enemy announcement of a (minor) victory (could very well be a deception to demoralised local maduro forces).
Scenario C, America the paper tiger
This is all shock and awe, and the us is actually incapable of following through. They will decapitate a few key leaders, not follow through, local forces are easily driven back by chavismo forces, chavismo control reestablished. This will then embolden the Venezuelan people, give them a common enemy, and a casus belly to eliminate the opposition.
The next few days will tell us which of these will happen.
>>2623038stop raping africa
>>2622960They have insider information about the attack. I guess they were trying to warn Maduro.
>>2623045Oh yeah, and the us army isn't well prepared for jungle warfare. Most of their material is made for desert and plains warfare in the middle east and the Ukrainian steppes.
>>2623045USA would be insane to launch ground invasion.
>>2623045bro the burgers are a bit smarter than u think. theyre just gnna regime change and forget
>>2623038Venezuela and China are allies you absolute retard. Stop D&C.
>>2623045>At some point, the USA needs boots on the ground. No they don't
>China will have to step up and set up smuggled supplies of suicide drones and other materialWhy would they do this?
This thread is in auto-sage now, post in the new one pls:
>>2623031>>2623038the only serious capitalist force*
>>2623063See
>>2622764And also i litterally told you in the post. What china fears most is the US Navy on its shore. That is primarily why they tacetly support the war in Ukraine, it ties up the USA. Tying up part of the us navy on the other end of the world at the cost of consumer drones and small rockets is a geopolitical no-brainer. The question is if the Chinese have the assets and political will to continue their proxy war support they took their first steps in recently in Iran.
>>2623060Like in Bolivia?
Why didn't Maduro just shoot the US pigs trying to capture him instead of getting taken? Is he stupid?
>>2623084Hes a bus driver. Its not like he had any chance against USA special forces.
>>2623084Life isn't being the protagonist in a video game.
>>2623093>>2623090Why didn't he, as the United States forces were storming his presidential palace, press a giant red button that would open a trap door to send the US pigs into a moat filled with alligators and piranhas. Is Maduro retarded?
>>2623063They do if they want the oil, my little retard
